Do you think the government would pave the way for us? Provide citizenship for Founder as an incentive?

The thing about Antigua is that if you want to be mobile, keeping it available as a potential tax residence with a short 30 day per year stay as a non-citizen may be more valuable, especially as the OECS freedom of movement agreement gives you the right to live & work in any CBI country in the Caribbean with a citizenship in one of the other CBI countries. St. Kitts has more visa free access, Dominica has access to some interesting countries that Antigua doesn't give you. If you really need South Africa access visa free, then it's your best choice, but...
@KJ-bc3de

They don’t accept it for citizenship, it’s a lie. It was a failed project , firstly with BCH from Roger Ver , that’s pretty much a flop. The government also will not accept btc for citizenship, it was a marketing stunt and you won’t be able to do if you try. What they mean if you can sell your btc to fiat, and pay with that, and that’s what they meant by we accept BTC. By that definition they also accept gold, wheat and horses lol

@@jeremyleonbarlow I don’t think you can just live and work long term in the caricom countries. You can definitely stay in Antigua for 6 months as a citizen of st kitts for example, but not longer unless you apply for it stating you have a valuable or extraordinary skill. Or if you’re college or university educated, but it’s only from the specific universities they have on their list. Be careful spreading false info

Caricom has a freedom of movement for skilled workers, including artists, & college graduates that is separate from OECS. Caricom does have a list of specific universities, but you can have a degree granted from a non-Caricom university certified for the Caricom rules. There are two freedom of movement regimes in the Caribbean one under OECS, the other under Caricom. Caricom has more countries, but more limitations. The information I listed was not false.

@@jeremyleonbarlow what you said needed more clarification, but yes thanks for that. I’d like to hear more about qualifying for the skills certificate for someone that’s independently wealthy or someone of that calibre . I’m guessing this is places outside of the CBI programs like Cayman Islands or Bahamas for example. Can you elaborate ?

Well, unless you are amongst the 80-100k people with a networth over $50 million, then your needs are very well catered to by the US government. Until you hit the $50 million or more networth club you are fairly well ignored. I mean with proper tax planning a US citizen can avoid almost all taxes while living in the US, so that is pretty impressive, but you need to be exceptionally wealthy to avoid all taxes in the USA.

I would also like to get citizenship in an EU country and my Dominican citizenship will allow me to apply for Spanish citizenship with two years of residency, instead of the usual 10. Anyone with a citizenship of Ibero-America (including those with Puerto Rican citizenship), Portugal, Andorra, the Philippines, Equatorial Guinea, or France, or if a person is a Sephardi Jew, he or she can apply for Spanish citizenship after two years of living in Spain. Have you ever discussed the importance of examining the availability of diplomatic missions & consular assistance when considering gaining residence or making an investment with an eye towards citizenship either through residency or investment? Also the importance of membership in the British Commonwealth for the Caribbean & Vanuatu CBI programs regarding this issue in particular. Also the importance of the consular assistance agreements amongst EU members for their citizens in countries where they themselves don't have a diplomatic mission. I know Mercusor has adopted a similar freedom of movement regime to the EU, but has Mercusor also adopted a similar consular assistance agreement? The issue came into acute focus for me recently when a few American RU-vidrs in different countries lost their passport. One merely misplaced it on a plane, the other was robbed at gunpoint and lost it in the robbery. One was in Mexico, the other was in Syria and both needed to replace their passports to exit the countries and continue with their travels. While none of the Caribbean CBI countries have extensive diplomatic missions, all benefit from membership in the Commonwealth and the consular assistance the UK can provide to citizens of Commonwealth countries in conjunction with their country of citizenship, in particular the UK's extensive network of diplomatic missions, but it was almost painful to think about what would happen to an Argentinian citizen who lost their passport in Mongolia or another far flung nation where that country had no consulates or embassy. It's particularly troubling when you notice the visa free access of some smaller countries with no consulates in several nations they have visa free access to for their citizens.

I'm curious to know with all your citizenships across the world how do you deal with succession planning? I understand countries have different laws in regard to succession so how do you manage this? Was this also a factor when deciding your citizenship countries? If you can make a video about this it would be appreciated. Thanks

I’m 56, Canadian, but was born in The Bahamas and lived there til age 7 (dad Cdn, mom American). Is that citizenship/passport worth pursuing more than citizenship by investment in say ... St. Kit’s? Tax savings is primary interest ... that and Canada’s grip on citizens’ lives.

Look at duel citizenship - it's important unless you just want to be a fishing boat captain and never leave.I am CDN too and I had a US green card for 10 yrs i didn't pay any CDN tax only US even though I drove home every weekend to my family and house. But I don't know the ins and outs re living in another country as a citizen and not paying taxes - as opposed to Canada and paying up to 50%.

@spicysalsaking791

@@eotc7980 So you'll need actual 2nd citizenship and full on renounce US citizenship if you want to avoid the problem entirely. There are foreign income tax exclusions (up to around ~100-115ish thousand USD/yr I think), foreign housing cost credits, etc., to navigate with a professional's help if you live overseas but are still a US citizen. If you were, say, a UK citizen, a UK passport + legal permanent residency in a 2nd country is generally enough to avoid most UK taxes (if you're generally living outside the UK).

This is where Ireland will go through Nationalist Revolution and Strengthen ties with Eastern Europe and Eurasia for Peace. Not to mention kicking out the shady companies who have HQ in Ireland, yet are human trafficking slaves to displace the Native Irish.
