Space looks awesome! I don't like to think of it as quitting, but moving onto a new chapter in life where you find a better balance. There is nothing wrong with being a "RU-vidr and..." where you get to enjoy the creative outlet without feeling like you're one bad video away from eating sleep for dinner. Looking forward to new projects!
Andrew, thank you for sharing, I’m sorry and happy at the same time. Most importantly glad you’re looking out for you! THANK YOU for all the great build videos!
Happy to see you again. If you have taken the decision to slow down the creation of bikes, it is because you have seen that it was the best option. All I can say is bravo. We look forward to the next video. And there is no hurry.
I wish you the best of luck with your Health! As a part time illustrator I totally get not working full time on sometime. Gotta leave energy for the other fun stuff!
Cool new set up! Even though the reasons might not be very cheerful, I like how you've picked yourself up. I really like your content and wish you all the succes, health and luck in your endeavours. I will be following.❤
I would like to see this channel continue, but those are for selfish reasons. Your videos on the Cannondale Super V and Jekyll inspired me to "build a better bike" . Both my 1994 Cannondale Super V and '94 Delta V are the direct response to the inspiration your videos provided. Both bikes have custom paint jobs, upgraded components ( complete disc brake conversions on both, the Super V even has a Lefty on it vs. the Headshok fork I originally installed) and are 100% incredibly FUN to ride. I am currently rebuilding/repainting the '94 Super V 1000 with a custom paint job that is inspired by the 2000 F2000SX and it's American flag inspired paint job. So thank you for the multiple inspirations and I hope you will post updates to anything else you create down the road. If you are curious enough to check up which bikes I painted because of your inspiration, there are some short video's of them on my channel.
I watched your super V restoration video a lot when I got my hands on one. Mainly for the dropper. It's a great video though and I watched it a bunch of times, along with the ride video. Greatly appreciated.
As a fellow photographer and cycling content creator, I feel this so hard. Playing with bikes is hugely fun but the mental and physical side of trying to creatively film and edit videos each and every week can be also be huge and that’s before you factor in the time it takes out of family activities, etc. I’m massively grateful for each and every one of my subscribers and really don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, because it isn’t a complaint at all and I love making videos but damn, yeh, it takes it out of you. Im so glad that, despite giving up full time content creation, you’ll still find time to continue building bikes and doing stuff with cameras though. 💪🏻 I’m very jealous of that studio space you have too! I definitely need something bigger than the 8ft wide garage space I’m currently using! 😂 All the best with the new job and your future endeavours. 👌🏻
Be safe. Be well. And I know the struggle you've faced with finding a decent job. I've spent the last year looking for something that's worthwhile for my history and post covid the focus of employers has shifted dramatically.
I'm sorry to hear that it's been such a struggle to be a full-time content creator. I sincerely hope you can make way more money with your current job and relieve some of the pressure that full-time content creation brings with it.
I fully understand the software dev bloodbath. I thought the market in Silicon Slopes was better, but guess not. Glad you’re able to keep some creation going, but gotta keep family first.
@@BuildaBetterBike i think every hobby has its peak in non-high-end and high-end stuff. knitting also has its toll.. a good quality ball of wool also not cheap 🙂
