Why I’m worried about The Sims 5…

i personally don’t want sims 5 until all the sims 4 packs are fixed, besides the price of ts4 in total is near enough £1000 so just imagine what another game would be like especially if it’s multiplayer.

Definitely need a better balance for needs and relationships. I like that the needs decay slower, but I don't like that relationships are so easy to build, and while I definitely appreciate a heavily reduced relationship decay, _no_ decay is a bit too easy. I just want more gameplay and variety. I hate that all of the social interactions look the same, and I hate that a lot of cool stuff isn't usable, and, like you said, that a lot of the same stuff is being pumped out instead of new gameplay content If you could consolidate all of the packs into fewer packs, which ones would you merge? Personally, I'd ideally merge Vampires+Werewolves+Realm of Magic+Paranormal, Eco Lifestyle+Laundry Day+Tiny Living+Bust the Dust+Industrial Loft+Blooming Rooms, Seasons+Spooky Day+Perfect Patio+Backyard, Cats and Dogs+My First Pet Stuff, Get to Work+Get Together+Spa Day+Bowling Day+Dine Out+Movie Hangout+Dream Home Decorator, Parenthood+Kids Room+Toddler, Cottage Living+Country Kitchen+Nifty Knitting, Get Famous+Vintage Glamour+Luxury Party, My Wedding Stories+Romantic Garden, Outdoor Retreat+Little Campers, etc. Obviously not all are realistic (because of years between releases), but if I had to consolidate or bundle for a cheaper price, those would be what I group together.

My biggest concern for the Sims 5 currently is multiplayer. I don't want this in the Sims. it's never been in the Sims and it's not needed. If I wanted to play a game like that I would go play a game like that. I play the Sims for life simulation. I do not want the Sims to become nothing more than a glorified chat room with avatars and decorating.

Yeah I HATED chasing needs. Seems like that's all I was doing in previous versions, couldn't get any actual good immersive gameplay going because you know...needs. And yeah, no matter how many versions of the game they come up with...we're going to be stuck with kits and packs to get a complete gaming experience.....because now they know ppl will buy them.

After all these years with the sims 4 the thought of starting over and having to wait for things like ghosts, pools, toddlers, and so on all over again is exhausting, tbh.

I think the problem is the game has become so catered towards under 18s, I remember one RU-vidr referring to the sims 4 as “something for young people to pretend they’re an influencer” which seems right. Ts1 was such a challenge and tbh scary at times, like fires and burgers were genuinely terrifying with intentionally scary music. Ts4 is too easy and sweet. Most of the people who buy this now will just blindly buy every game they pump out, ts1 had like.. 6 packs total. Ts4 has more kits now than ts1 had expansion packs! I know you said you don’t like that mentality but it is the reason ea can get away with doing this, if people weren’t just buying everything then ea would change tact, like they did with excluding a lot of features only to include them after people complained. Also weather and pets should be standard, it’s a life sim, every other life sim includes those

One thing I remember about TS3 is how annoying the store felt at the time, it was pushed in CAS and build mode. Arguably the store has now been replaced with kits and stuff packs, but my issue with that is that expansion packs are being watered down. Whilst Store content felt optional and a nice perk, every pack for TS4 feels like a need almost. It’s clever marketing to change micro transactions from “the store” to a huge amount of kits, but it’s awful for the game experience. You didn’t need to buy things from TS3 store to feel like you had a complete game, but it feels like you need every pack to add gameplay in TS4 only to realise after a month of playing that pack that the game is completely soulless. No amount of packs can fix TS4, it was destined to be a disaster from launch

Now, stop it girl, you know in Sims 5 there's gonna be a washer pack separate from a dryer pack.

I was recently talking to my brother, a video game developer, about how expensive TS4 is, and he pointed out that there are several games that actually ring up at 15k (!!!) to have all the DLC or a “fully leveled up character.” I was shocked. I mean, I still think TS4 is pricey but that gave me a reality check.

The watering down of gameplay and breaking content up across multiple packs has been so annoying, but what frustrates me the most is the lack of pack integration! I remember having to download heaps of mods to just make the game use things from the various packs together - like using the costumes from the Spooky Stuff pack as Spooky Day costumes just for one example! Since I’ve gone back to the Sims 3, I’ve noticed how many of the packs actually have combined features that were built in and didn’t require mods to work. Hopefully EA and the Sims team take on feedback and learn from their mistakes for Sims 5 but I’m not confident at all 😬

I hope theres a continuation of story lines like the goth family in the sims 5 even though that seems unlikely

You make a good point about them reselling different things we got in expansion packs in older games. Especially since the high school EP is coming out and we got all those features with generations in TS3. Also I am so sick of having to buy seasons and pets even though seasons is a part of everyone's lives PLUS many people would say that pets are also a part of the family.

There is an upcoming Sim game called ParaLives that could give some competition. The grid-less building is definitely an interesting feature of the game. However it doesn't seem anywhere close to being released right now and just like with Pokémon and the monster taming genre, we have to be careful with expectations for an indie game.

I also dislike the idea that because we buy the game packs, expansion etc it's like being complicit in the shortcomings. I'm of the mind that not buying their product won't facilitate change, they'd just stop making it or pull resources away. I'd see them cite the lower sales/demand means overall disinterest in the game completely, rather than the reason: frustrations with the issues that have been stated time and again. I only buy game stuff on sale, and I pay the modders their due since they have a big hand in why I still play.

My issue with all the packs are ones that should be basegame. Like the new pack - high school. Or seasons! Im all for things to customize your gameplay towards things that you are interested in - occults or Star Wars… even tiny living, eco lifestyle, cats and dogs, and cottage living. But I don’t like that I have to buy a pack just so my sims can experience weather or go to high school. Even something like doing laundry - my sims wear clothes, they should be able to wash them without an expansion pack

The truth for me is that I’ve bought every sims product since the first iteration. If there is a Sims 5, I’m out. Integration of Sims 2 and 3 and with the user ease of 4, I may try but I’m one of the older Sim’s players. I am the spinster now, the Crumplebottom now. Having said that, I don’t think that should remove my take on this subject. The very idea of Sims 5 has me thinking about retirement from this game altogether. EA has had my money for decades. I’ve spent enough. Keep what we have, removed the number and improve on the gameplay by including the life that 2 and 4 had as well as adding in the new stuff. Improve the gameplay, improve the look of what we have now and I’ll play this well into the retirement home my nieces are going to put me in.

Despite buying each pack i always find myself back onto sims 3. If sims 5 does not continue on with open world I fear paralives is gonna be our only hope for a proper life sim.

That’s how real best friends work, sometimes life gets busy and you don’t get time to see each other, but even years later you see each other and it’s like no time has passed at all

My unplayed houses saw lots of death. Unless you turn off death in neighborhood stories. I’d load up a game and half my sims are dead. 😂

The people who buy the packs get to complain. They spent money on something they were hoping was good and then it wasn't. The bad content and high prices is on EA and The Sims Team.

Unfortunately, the quality of story has gone down hill. I recently played Sims 3 and I prefer it much more.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I actually prefer the way Sims 4 did Occult packs. The Occults in Sims 3 were not well done and you couldn't really do anything. However, Spellcasters, Vampires and Werewolves in Sis 4 are actually done really good. I like that fact that you have to unlock skills and that they can actually be used more. But as for the other stuff being split up into smaller packs, I definitely agree that is ridiculous.

We’re waiting on Paralives and hopefully they can be a competitor to the sims 4 and then again I feel some of the things that are expansion packs should be in the base game

The thing that most concerns me for Sims 5 is the lack of personality traits in the sims 4 and how little those traits change how your sim interacts with their world. At the very least, instead of them stopping at 3 it'd be nice to see more added at each birthday

Okay the only thing I don't want in The Sims 5 is Alpha hair I just think it looks too realistic and ugly

The Sims 4 is like building a sandbox, one grain of sand at a time. People are so desperate to get the depth they desire in the game that they buy every pack just to get closer to it, because there is no alternative. Maxis knows this, and so they take advantage of it naturally.

The sims 5 will probably be more overpriced bc the rate EA is going I don’t think it will get better.

I actually prefer some of the packs being separated so I can curate my game the way I want. For example, I’d buy laundry day three more times, but I’d never buy bust the dust 😂 love seasons, don’t want spooky day or paranormal in my game 🙋🏾‍♀️

Expansion packs in my country are R649.95 Game packs R349.95, Stuff packs R149.95 and Kits R74.95. That's R1224.80 for one of each pack. Packs that could have been grouped into each other. Packs that have repetitive content. So no, you're not being a negative Nancy. You're pointing out the obvious that we spend too much for a repackaged and split game who's predecessors had more and who's future looks scary.

I appreciate your insights into the sims4 quirks and issues. It is something to think about. On the other hand you do get a lot of flexibility with the Sims4. Granted, I haven't played much of any of the games but the Sims4, but being able to play one family in one game, another in a second game, etc., seems like a lot to bring to the table. I don't know if you could do that with all the Sims games before or not. I have started almost 20 different games, half I've deleted because I lost interest. Watching your channel has given me some ideas. One thing I wanted to draw attention to is the music. Particularly the Build & Buy music. Some of those tunes have caught my ear. I have noticed the skill and talent that goes into those little songs we hear while trying to find all sorts of furniture, lighting, god knows what...in build & buy mode. Sometimes it's pithy and ignorable, sometimes it's deep and haunting. I just wanted to give a shout out to the group that does the music that we may so take for granted.

I agree EA are being greedy with basically rehashing the same stuff and rebranding it. However, I really enjoy the sims 4. I think the best thing about the sims 4 is you can take photos of your loved ones and you can hang them in your house. Just little things like that I find amazing. What I would like to see is more choice in CAS. I know there are some gorgeous mods out there, but it would be nice if EA collaborated with some of these talented people and gave them some recognition.

You don’t come across as a sims 4 hatter when making these vids keep making them and once you get big one day maybe you could change the game 😅

What concerns me is what if they made it an online multiplayer game, there will be a lot of kids who might be in danger. Let's look back at what happened to avakin life, second life, etc.

You know what i want in the sims 5. REASONABLE PRICES. the fact that coffee and pizza cost 0$ but tea costs 5$? i want lots to be priced like real life. walls are way too cheap for an actual house. (i dont mind the walls too much) but just in general the prices of items are so off.

OPEN WORLD will need to be added for the sims 5, I do want a flushed-out base game like the sims 3 which is my favourite in the series and I totally agree having a remastered sims 3 would be perfect. but I am optimistic about what the sims 5 will bring!

You really are an optimist! I expect the Sims 5 to be a mobile online-only game where every single piece of clothing and furniture above the bare basics will be sold separately, and you can buy simoleons for $,€ or £. Also frquent pop-up ads. This type of game has proven to be the most effective at getting money out of people, so this is taking off like crazy. The Diablo franchise just recently went down that road after a long time as PC games, and it's hauling in money like crazy from the pre-existing fanbase. Do you think EA can resist?

These are legitimate concerns, and if this is how the trends in gaming are, the Sims 5 will go on the similar track to Sims 4 and it may be worse. I will not put a lot of hope in the Sims 5 will somehow save the franchise from "jumping the shark" but it will be interesting how it will look when other indie developers trying to get into the market.

You're absolutely right. And a lot of the stuff we wanted from the beginning we still don't have like eyelashes and cars. I'm hoping that because they're getting more competition they'll try to do better

(This is my opinion for console players.) In my opinion I want The Sims 5 to be a mixture of The Sims 2, 3 and 4. If I'm gonna play in my virtual doll simulator life then I want to be able to play with a baby, toddler and child like I can in real life. Not having the baby wrapped in a blanket or bound to the crib like an object. I've seen that computer players had a better sims gaming experience then us console players since they got more pets in the sims 3 pets where console players only got cats and dogs for example. So console players had way less adventures. If the sims 5 were to have pets it better be fair on both platforms and can we please be able to control them like in sims 3. A life simulator can't just be bound to human or paranormal life. Pets should be able to be controlled to. Personally to me the sims 4 has enough challenge on it. When im so busy building skills I easily forget my sims have needs and those toddlers... Their needs drop to zero in a matter of minutes so playing life with them is not fun at all. They can't just have a full sleep throughout the night and then have breakfast, build skills, have lunch, build skills, have dinner, build skills got to bed. Sims aren't designed to follow a schedule which is very dissapointing. Babies are impossible to deal with as all the do is cry very annoyingly and wake both parents when in the same room. Thanks to the Knitting Pack babies can have more style in clothing but the babies are a total bummer. Even the sims 3 was a bit of a bummer because the babies where bound to a blanket and could do absolutely nothing. Sure they could leave the crib and hang out on the couch with the parents and be placed on the floor but they have no movement. Poor things. Relationships are yes easy but to me im very glad it it. I'm a "I want things easy" kind of player when it comes to the sims. I play the game to chill out and play freely not to add more challenge. There is much more I could say but I think I've rambbled on long enough. Thank you for listening to me complain. 😁 and sorry.

While repeatedly getting the same item can seem bad if you get every pack, it's not all bad. If you don't get every pack, it's nice to have different options to get a similar item. Now, different swatches of the activity table isn't needed since it is base game, and the same could be said about bars, but when they have a completely different aesthetic, it does work. Bikes, if you want a bike in the Sims 4, you have a few options: Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, and ordering Cottage Living soon enough to get that bike (wish they didn't do those time exclusive items, yet here they are again with the High School pack). I didn't want University or Eco Lifestyle, so I went with Cottage Living early so I could have a bike in my game. Selling tables: City Living, Jungle Adventure, Eco Lifestyle... and maybe some other pack? Again, different options to get a certain type of non base game gameplay is good if you do not buy every pack. For quite awhile the only selling option I had was the table from Jungle Adventure. Currently I now have the City Living and Get to Work (store) selling options. Cook able bonfires: Outdoor Retreat, Little Campers kit, Island Living. (For some dumb reason you can't cook with the Get Together one, and that annoys me) I have all of these packs/now, but it's nice to have ones with different looks, for different situations.

i just want to see some serious challenges added to the game, like gambling and addiction, and obviously not every sim will deal with that, but possibly having a bad childhood with bad parents, that leads to issues like that as an adult, and you can decide if the sim works on themselves for a better life or not. i also want to see illnesses, for ALL ages, even ones a sim can recover from, it’s a life simulation after all, i want realistic things to happen, good and bad. i’m not saying this stuff is right, or if i’m even making sense, but sometimes i want bad things to happen to some of my sims to add backstory and influence their lives more. i want to be able to play a sim who grows up in a tough household, bad/absent parents, then maybe the sim grows up and has their own kid who passes very young from an illness and it changes the sim and influences them to change themselves for the better, or the opposite. i basically just want things to actually impact sims and their situations beyond surface level. but this would change the rating of the game, so i don’t really have any hope for them adding things like this. it’s probably going to stay this happy-easy-nothing really goes wrong-kind of game and that just doesn’t feel like a LIFE simulation to me at all :/

I hate that proper and well thought out criticism has to be given the disclaimer “Please don’t think that I hate the sims or anything...” We criticize the series BECAUSE we love it. We want it to be fun!

I think another issue with the sims 4 that I’m worried about for sims 5 is how watered down it is to get a younger audience. The sims 2 was a lot better focused on its young adult audience without being too kiddie.

And although I do agree about the oversaturation of content, I probably wouldn't be happy if their was only one dollhouse because it just won't fit all builds. I think it would be better if they had one dollhouse with several skins; but I focus on aesthetics and theme a lot with my builds, and I actually like the recolors of older content. It makes it so I dont have to choose between a dollhouse that doesn't fit the theme or no dollhouse at all.

The one thing that makes me upset is the same version of each thing… they could have brought back the kitchen for kids instead of another drawing table or even the potions for kids OR give us knew things that goes with it, make different potions or pictures.

Starting to think the intense relationship decay for my sims is a glitch...

When TS5 does come out I'm probably gonna leave it for a long while. I think EA need to fix the issues with the ts4 packs and if it could improve the storylines. The packs I completely agree with you and all points.

you're so right ive got all but 2 packs which has cost me tons of dough. i loved the sims 3 and after installing sims 4 sims 3 slowed down loading to a point where it would take hours to load so i just gave up on it and dove deep into 4.

there's also a discussion to be made about why sims 4 has gone downhill so much. personally I believe the corporatization of the gaming industry in general led to sims 4 being as it is. Sims has become very... gentrified in a way? And It would take a lot of work to get it out of that rut.

As an ASD person a lot of my social training came from TS2 and TS3. I always worry about what TS4 is teaching it's audience about socializing subtextually. It is so easy to become partners or friends which could teach the audience to not respect others boundaries.

You're right. And EA won't release the Sims 5 untill they squeeze the Sims 4 to dry. So the moment they release I return to the 3d part

As someone who started playing the sims with The Sims 4 I did agree there are just too many packs for things that could be combined and because I’m stuck playing just base game and realm of magic I really wish I could play with other features I had in other packs especially since I own almost every pack (kits and stuff packs excluded) but alas I can’t until I upgrade my computer to one with more space

for me personally needs are annoying if they decay so fast, i think the player should be able to fully customise everything to their liking! maybe one day i want that challenge but other times i want a sandbox to stare at :) it can't be so hard to let us customise more without a mod. Relationships need to stop being mutual and we need more one sided things like crushes or someone liking someone more without the other liking them back or even disliking them. edit: i mean without using cheats all the time either

While there’s a few things I would prefer that the Sims 4 had (like the genie, the Shakespeare inspired characters, lore connected to the other iterations of the game). I actually think it’s the best one we’ve gotten. I think they do better job of curating things around a theme and fleshing them out. I also think that we forget that not everyone collects all the packs. So for folks who have all the pack yes those activity tables seem excessive it if you have like an expansion or 2 and maybe a game pack and a stuff pack or 2 you might not feel that way. Just my opinion but while it has flaws, i really do think it’s the best of the bunch.

One thing I think ts4 is lacking is customization. None of the swatches match and I can’t modify them. All of my blond sims have the exact same hair color, which is not realistic. I can’t place extra lots or move existing lots in the worlds. Where can I put my personal touch on anything?

I miss how genuinely scary TS1 was. They really took time to highlight when shit hit the fan. Especially fires or burglars. Even when something needed repair they just highlighted the rather real annoyances of life and it was fun. The needs definitely was a challenge. I think they should cater to the generations that need that gameplay and make separate things for ppl under 18 😅

having the option to turn certain content off would be the easiest way about the difficulty issue. want fires? enabled. dont? disabled. badaboom

I’m also scared for sims 5 mainly because they haven’t mentioned anything yet so it’s concerning But the werewolf pack kinda gives me hope I think after the wedding pack they got their crap together a fair amount I do hope it’s more like the sims 3 but can actually run nicely. But there are parts of the sims 4 I like better. I find there more to do. But that may be because I haven’t really played the sims 3 in a long time so when I go back in all I can think to do is get a job and raise a family

I'm kinda glad that they fixed the friendship but, it's more fun working for that friendship than just taking a couple of photos. Wow because I dont use bars that often I didn't realise how many there was in the game. I was also annoyed that I was paying £50 for something I paid £30 for in the previous Sims, I've only bought a couple of kits because I just can't keep forking out £5 every couple of weeks for a few new clothes/hairs I'm not gonna use coz I use CC. The only pack I don't own is My Wedding Story and that's for 2 reasons, 1 it was so bugged when it released that I didn't want it till it was fixed and 2 I don't tend to throw a wedding I usually just elope but if I do throw a wedding I usually stick an arch on the beach in Sulani and get married there co the weather is always hot and I don't have to worry about people showing up in cold weather wear lol

My dream sims 5 : Sims 1 soundtracks Sims 2 lore , world customization , chemistry and details Sims 3 open world , creat a style , traits and cars Sims 4 cas abilities , multitasking and graphics They can add : Better graphics ( maybe a little more realistic) Heights and new options in cas More space for sims in the household ( more than the usual 8 ) Get it ea , get it ?

EA needs to step up their game! There needs to be better integration with the Eps. They add features but they are lack luster. Then there are weird bugs. Like random sims showing up at my lot and inside my house. And there needs to be no loading screens. I hate someone calling my Sim to go somewhere. I have to drop everything to go. I wish your sim could "get ready first" before going out with a sim.

I wish like some of the animations in ts4 was like kinda the sims 2 type. It seems very basic :( I already have all of the packets but idk. Feels like its simple and of course the game is a bit broken

I just wish Sims 5 would include more of the Storytelling we had back then in TS2 with all the interesting families like the Goths etc. It added so much spice to the game and I feel so sad about the fact that Sims 4 wasn't made a part of the storyline. They just cut it off which I can't understand. Marketing wise they're always promoting the creation of interesting and individual stories and that the game is based on that but I just feel that they're not that enthusiastic about it like they were back then. Very sad development. I liked the fears in TS2 because it gave the game a way more realistic touch, showing that not only positive things are part of life (but interestingly they added that to the Sims 4 in a recent update!). Also all the little details that are missing in the current game is such a shame. There are a lot of videos on YT that show the differences between the iterations. All in all my perfect game would be a mix of TS2 (including all the sweet details, fears, spicy stories, gameplay like grocery shopping, cars etc.), TS3 (open world, design options) and TS4 with all the emotions, multitasking and especially the game mechanics of toddlers!

I've already decided I'm not going to buy Sims 5 when it does come out. The greed has been real with EA and that will not change. The fact that Sims 4 still has so many bugs is also a factor. Putting out a broken game is unacceptable, not fixing it fully is even worse. I just brought wedding stories on sale and instantly regretted it. The bugs still within the pack are ridiculous. I also didn't pay attention to just how many of the same items are in the game since I'm not a builder. I think they need to just give maybe 3 total of an item for different sizes and add the swatches as they go on.

I dont like that you have to buy expansion packs for the sims. I remember when it was all built in the game. Now it makes it cost more just to play the game the way you want to play it.

I am not currently a simmer. I am an older gamer that grew up playing Sims and Sims 2, and recently got a big dose of nostalgia when I saw that Sims 4 was free on Steam. I got very excited and added it to my library. Having played before, I already knew that it wasn't going to be much fun sticking solely to the base game, so I knew when I did that I would need and want to spend money on expansions. However, I got VERY put off when I saw that currently, even with almost every pack on a pretty good discount due to Steam Summer sale, it would cost about $800 to buy the expansion packs. As much as I enjoyed the Sims in the past, the fact that if I were willing to spend that much I could literally buy everything else on my current wishlist and have money left over, made it an immediate NOPE. So I loaded up on some great wishlist deals instead. I am now watching some RU-vid of Sims 4 while playing other games, trying to figure out what the F is so much more amazing about it that would would make it worth so much $$, and not having much luck understanding.

I live on the road. Most of the time I don't have an internet connection for my laptop. If they make the sims 5 multi-player that's it for me, no more sims franchise unless I get a hot spot. They keep making games these days that you *can't* play offline and it sucks.

Let’s not forget that many franchises have remastered their old games, and EA still hasn’t touched the original Sims (or Sims 2)... and Sims 3 Island Paradise is STILL broken.

I just hope it doesn't take YEARS to come out with a magic/supernatural DLC

I personally liked that the relationships were easier to build in Sims 4 other than that I 100% agree with everything else

I don't really ever comment on Sims videos because I expect to have people be rude in replies. Everyone who hates on the Sims 4 keeps saying, "just give us Sims 5." My view on it is EA has shown what is important to them and that is money. If people think that will change just because a new game releases, they are very mistaken. If EA doesn't listen now they won't listen just because they have a new game.

the thing is ... so many people complain that EA only wants to make money with sims 4. They complain about the many packs and the prices but in the end they buy them anyway. And thats where the problem begins, if all those people would boycott it and woul stop buying every single pack ... the company would see that they cant do that with their customers. That worked with many different other games. Im a gamer and play lots of other games beside Sims 4 and in some of those communities, people really boycotted specific DLC ... and boom, the company changed the things. It wont stop until Sims players boycott this kind of thing and stop buying every single pack. I already stopped getting every pack because ... tho its ridicoulus.

I don't think multiplayer would ruin the sims. As long as they make an online and offline mode there is no problem. I think its a simple fix for a potentially massive problem. Maybe they could have servers that has multiple options such as an open one and a closed or invite only one and even settings that can have it where only friends, no one allowed, or a limit for your open session, but the session can save things. There can even be a setting with permissions and whether or not friends can save. I think both people who want to try sims online and those who don't want it have a right for opportunities as long as both modes are available.

I hate how the packs/add on DONT work with each other! having pets,wizzards and vampires brakes my games, mied magic householes bug out, and if you use potions or points to de-age a sim/keep them alive the game goes weird, i have no mods nothing that would be messing it, just the game as its sold

The best move for business and gameplay is the online store... with all careers and other content as DLC. Players can buy only the content they like and use it to customize their preferred sim. In this way, EA is incentivized to create simple not many expensive packs for only those who want it, and the fact that the package is not free will not make the characters all vampires and fairies in the multiplayer. Also, they should implement the avatar so streamers and youtube can use it, and players can share it directly on Instagram and Twitter. They should also add difficulty levels for special household rules that apply only to certain people, like The Sims finance, where you have monthly bills for Internet, water, and insurance. Adding sickness makes the aspiration harsher and harder to complete. The issue with the game is that it can be easily cheesed, destroying the content. I come from competitive game environments... and cheese is everything. It makes the game boring because can be efficiently achieved everything. The path should be blocked. Switching careers, for example, should not be habilitated if one has a specific path. For example, if you're a chef kinda weird, you become a CEO of a bank.

Yall sims is happy and their needs deteriorate slowly? Mine are always suffering and have never time to even clean up before work. Also, relationships definitely deteriorate on mine! I hate two wives who lived separately, and soon, one wife stopped coming over and they slowly went from soulmates to near strangers, to enemies.

I actually think it makes it better that they broke the packs down into smaller ones. Yeah it sucks it is more expensive but it makes it WAY better because they focus more resources on it. Like the supernatural ones are the best example, werewolves, spellcasters and vampires are WAY better than they were in Sims 3 Supernatural where they were all lumped together. And mermaids which were included in the Island Living pack suck. That is the level that we would have for all of our supernatural sims if they were all lumped into a general pack. I love saving money but all games are expanding and being more expensive and bigger downloads. So it just kind of goes with the territory. I would rather have it broken down like this and have BETTER content. Not to mention then it makes it much easier for those people who like to pick and choose packs. I pretty much buy every single pack so this doesn't affect me. But some simmers just pick a couple. (I will not buy Baatu) Anyway I know it's a super unpopular opinion but that is my two cents on it. Also I have no interest in the Sims 5 coming out. I am enjoying Sims 4. This isn't my first one been playing since the original.

Sims 3 was conceptually great but runs horrible when everything is installed, even with just 3 expansions it is a mess unless we add tons of mods to fix the issues. A Sims 5 base game that remakes all Sims 3 features from the first 3 expansions but in an optimized, stable form would be an instant classic.
