You’re VERY welcome! I’ve been anticipating Series 3 (especially that Don’t Make a Sound FF) for quite awhile. Super excited to see all the stretch goals!!
It looks so AWESOME!! Never would have guessed a Final Destination theme would be possible for the game, but now I want it! I also want more vignette themes, because they are fun little adventures.
Oh no... I am going to be that guy... I think the Marrek Murders killer is based off of Jigsaws apprentice Amanda Young. Who was also a DLC Killer in Dead By Daylight that goes by The Pig.
Lol no issues with being “that guys”. In fact, bring on all of “that guy”-isms! Also, that’s very true, completely forgot about her. I was never into the Saw series, been quite awhile since I’ve seen them. With Saw X coming out, and her almost 100% the inspiration, I’ll have to rewatch them.
@@homegamerdad honestly I think I am just a weird nerd lmao anyways series 3 is looking SWEET stoked for the christmas themed map so I can play Final Girl year round haha
I love your enthusiasm haha. I discovered this game recently and bought 6 feature films before knowing how the game is played, because I loved the concept and design. I just played two times, I'm still learning, but looks really promising. I have to watch the movies again, to appreciate all the details. I'll watch some of your playthrough videos!
Thank you! What can I say, I just LOVE this game and all the potential it has. It’s definitely hard, as it should be, but it has a very satisfying feel to it, even if I loose. And the constant references to the movie that inspire them are fantastic. Enjoy the play throughs! Let me know what you think, I’ll be working my way through series 2 very soon.
I recently played a couple more games of final girl. I love the production, the design, the theme, etc. But for me its a little too random and swingy. I cant justify spending 180 just to get annoyed at least 50% of the games. Im not a fan of the varying levels of strech goals on this campaign compared to last. Ill probably get a couple of films in retail, but definitely not backing
That’s one of the best things about this game: you don’t NEED to have everything to get enjoyment out of it. Grab the core box and a few Feature Films, and you still have multiple options. And by buying only a few pieces, it saves shelf space AND money.
Your experience pretty much mirrors mine. With series 1, I waffled and ended up passing. It looked really cool, but I was hesitant because it’s based on Hostage Negotiator, which I was pretty lukewarm on. Then it started reaching people, I got to see people playing it and jumped all in on Series 2. I also jumped in for Series 3 immediately.
I wish I didn’t hesitate with series 1, but I’m VERY glad that Van Ryder Games didn’t lock anything behind the Kickstarter door. Everything they put out before was available again, so a completionist like me didn’t miss out on anything.
Awesome! So glad I was able to let you know about this amazing game’s next set of releases! That’s my goal with this series: keep the hype up and spread awareness for the game.
I'm kind of glad I missed this Kickstarter... Shopping to Australia is pretty ruthless... I'll probably just pick up the feature films and mini pack when they hit retail. Just picked up North Pole Nightmare at retail and can't wait to play it - hoping they do more specials like this
Shipping prices are still WAY out of control, especially to that neck of the woods. Definitely best to pick them up little by little, most likely will save money that way. Me too! Would love to see an entire “holiday” run of Feature Films.
I could see feature films for Halloween (Pumpkinhead, something in the corn, bats as a Terror From, witches, ghosts), Easter with a killer in a bunny mask that leaves egg grenades hidden around the map, a valentine's cupid who kills with (obviously!) a bow and arrow, St Patrick's Day with (obviously!) a leprechaun and the final girl has to find the good to appease the killer... I want them all!
