Why I Chose Germany over America 

I just hope that this positively responding crowd is a significant part of Germany and that the haters will not take over here! There is a danger of that (as it seems to be the case in many places these days). Here's to the positive attitude in towards and in the world! Cheers!

I've been wondering why you didn't upload more videos about your Finland experiences. I've been following your other account for a while, long before you made it to Europe and was genuinely interested in seeing some. This gives some insight. I'm so sorry to hear you faced hostility. In Germany things aren't all sunshine and rainbows either, but it helps if you know enough positive people to counterbalance the bad. The german crowd on RU-vid is strong (I'm one of them, lol). Don't allow idiotic and negative comments take away your energy. Sure, you will encounter such things anywhere - including Germany, btw - but as long you do not let it bother you too much, you are fine. 😊 I am german, lived 20+ years in the USA, and although I am "white" I experienced plenty of negativity towards me - I can only imagine how bad it is when one looks more different. Even i have been called a "damn Mexican" by a black person in Seattle... weird stuff. 😅 I am back living in Germany - things got bad with Trump and certain political views in the US towards foreigners... When you travel to Germany, I hope to meet you, hang out. Cheers. 🍻

I don't know, isn't it just the most natural reaction to welcome people with a genuine interest in my country, my culture, my life? After all, I'm just as interested in other people's experiences in their country. And their view on mine of course: That's why I love those reaction videos.

it is by far not as cold in Germany. We had a major snow this year, lasting exactly one week (in central Germany)… We have not had this much snow lasting that long in years!

Nice video. The best experience can be gained by visiting the countries. People from Germany or Austria are very friendly once you get to know them better.

I know that not all Germans will share my enthusiasm, but I am proud that Blacks are integrating into Germany, especially when they adopt our culture. I always wanted Black friends but back when I was a kid here back in the 70's and early 80's, it was still special to see foreigners, especially Blacks, so to see this guys appreciation of Germany warms my heart.

In fact, Germans are very welcomming people. We have a "welcome culture" (Willkommenskultur) But still most of the people think Germany are cold and make Nazi jokes. In some points this welcome culture is going to far, because not even illegal immigrants have to leave. We give them money instead. If you point out something like this, you are called a nazi. You will hear that from other Germans. But it is a fact that there are people comming here to get money, not to be a part of society and culture. They get more money here for doing nothing, than for working 8 houres a day in their countries like syria. Everyone is welcome should mean, if they can do something for the society and the economy. But at the moment everyone is welcome to just be here and collect the money that comes from the working people. It is allowed to say that this is not healthy for our sociiand our economy. But you can't tell facts these days, because if you do, you are a Nazi.
