Exactly true. Plus guys are literally buying woman nice things and taking them on date for the exact same thing Which seems like hypocrisy to me when people who’d use those services gets hated on

He reduced the focus on his video to protect the image rights of the working ladies, but as a woman that has visited the Reeperbahn to party at the club, it was interesting to get a peek behind the wall. That‘s fine, I don‘t think he was being disrespectful at all.

@@lynnm6413 I didn´t say it was disrespectful how he presented it, but we could argue that knowingly breaking rules is disrespectful of the rules that have been implemented with reasons. The way he films unknowing passers by also conflicts with our right to privacy, that is not his concern; monetizing is his base/primary concern. I find it a little weird that adult women are not aloud behind the wall, wonder what the reasoning is (I could guess). However men could tell the women what was behind the wall. Maybe it's because I also grew up in the pre-digital age, that this is not an alien concept for me?!? The secrecy was what made me wonder what was going on behind the wall. And how he talked about it. He could also just say, it's working girls behind windows. I´m from the Netherlands, Reeperbahn = similar to; de wallen. They also don't want you to film... The reduced focus is edited. Did he have consent to do this? NO! Do people pay the subject to be filmed? No matter what post edit does? He is filming them doing their job? You want to be filmed doing your job, not knowing what will happen with the shot footage? Especially a job with social stigma's? He also has an uncensored original version in his posession. So, yes, it was rude of him thinking rules do not apply to him. Dare I say: Disrespectful in that way. Did he disrespect the girls and John's? Not in the way how he showed the footage, but yes to taking it *without consent.* And to top that he is monetizing over content of prostitution, while also being a little bit anti-prostitution in his wordings and in how he wants to present himself to his public. (He's not a "perve", narrative) All in all it was hypocritical of him (the original creator)

@@schiffelers3944 I‘m agreeing with you on the principle, and the pruritan undertone, but that is to be expected for an American vlogger…. German image rights are very complicated, one can film people as part of a crowd, when you don‘t make them a focus, so I don‘t know if this isn‘t within the limits of just documenting his experiences.

@@lynnm6413 "Documenting" seems a bit of a stretch. Comparing this to documentaries for instance. Well; I expect better from (American Vloggers and influencers. Why I say what I said. He is profiting over others. Without them there wouldn't be this "documentation"... Did he anounce he was making a documentation to the people filmed. Privacy There are so many actual documentaries on the Reeperbahn. I have had issues with society since the smart-/I-/android phones came out, and the influence this has had in a negative way on society in general. [There are some positive aspects, but the negative outweigh them] Generation ME has issues.
