Why I chose to live in Jersey City instead of New York City.. I'm just a Jersey girl now :')
Background on my end is 0:00-3:52 and then the real reasoning starts at 3:52 if you're just here for the information. And of course my opinion is biased as I LOVE Jersey City. But hope this helps someone out there!

My husband and I stayed in Hoboken last fall because all the hotels were booked in NYC. We LOVED Jersey city/hoboken! Taking the fairy was so easy too and the views on the ride were amazing. We felt so safe In Hoboken and felt out of “hustle and bustle” of nyc but were able to enjoy the city life when we wanted to and when it was overwhelming it was so nice to go across the fairy and be back in a chill area😂 and yes to driving your own car too!

I’m from Brooklyn, live in jersey now and you’re preaching, especially the part about getting home before my NY friends lol. Also the random small talk. NY to turn up. Jersey to sleep/breathe

I’ve stayed in jersey city before and it shocked me how fast you can just cross the tunnel and get to NYC

I love Jersey City too and can relate so much! My wife and I both grew up in Geneva, NY (about 45 mins from Syracuse) and could never see ourselves moving back there or Manhattan. Jersey City feels more like home to us than anywhere. I also make a lot of videos about JC so feel free to check them out on my channel. Welcome and I hope you continue to enjoy it!
