I have only recently discovered her beautiful music. I’m so sorry that she has has apparently lost her way. This stuff she is saying makes no sense. “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” These are dark days. I pray she finds her way back.❤️

Idea…Instead of not listening to her music why not every time Audrey’s music comes on we pray for her while listening. Thoughts?

Was listening to her music on Spotify and enjoyed it. Came to RU-vid to listen to more of her music. And then this ? I feel so sad

I too love The Inheritance album and have been brought to tears multiple times by it. She has an ethereal and Angelic quality to her voice that is rare. I am sad to see her slipping into some sort of worldly pantheism. It all sounds pretty, but at the base of it there is nothing there. Hope she finds her way back to the gospel.

I am so happy to see us joining in encouragement for this woman’s soul. Please don’t turn away- either from her music or God. That’s exactly what the enemy wants- to bring confusion among us and tear down believers’ faith through these stories. In fact seeing this made me more eager to pray because the enemy is working HARD! 1 Peter 5:8-9. Lord help us to stay on guard and pray pray pray. Audrey we love you and we are praying for you to come back home

She looked a whole lot happier when she believed. Sadness and gloom is all the alternative life gives you. I'm sad for her.

She intellectualized her faith. If you do that, you will fall away. As believers we walk by faith and not by sight.

I will continue to listen to your beautiful voice and songs that have brought me closer to God over all these years. I will never doubt that your gifts were given for this purpose; to glorify Him, to speak words of comfort and confidence and peace to His children, to draw others to Him through songs that are so beautiful in lyric and melody, one just knows there's more than this earthly life as your soul is so uplifted. Your music does that. I pray you find peace and love with Jesus again. You had it before. He's never leaving you. ❤

Her songs were birthed by the Holy Spirit. I see no reason why Christians have to stop listening to them. We should pray for her because clearly the enemy has deceived her. He always comes against those who are serving the Lord God.

The devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking who he can devour. God is faithful even when we are not because He can’t deny Himself. Praying for everyone who is seeking Jesus, because everyone is even when they don’t know it.

I am all for questioning and looking into what you believe and why you believe. What’s interesting though is if in fact you have come to a place where you deny the gospel, then why keep all the songs and material up? You still profit off of what you claim to not believe. Don’t get me wrong, I love her worship music. It’s some of the best. It’s incredible so I hope she never takes it down. But I always found it interesting to keep it up in the midst of what you claim to believe? Maybe because that was the reason you were created? And this is your best material ever. And therefore it’s timeless and of so much value. You have millions of views on that compared to your new stuff. All very interesting to me. All things aside I’m deeply grateful for Audrey’s time writing and singing worship music. It’s been profoundly impactful for literally millions. So I pray she sees the beauty in what she once sang and I also pray the church takes note. Don’t be dogmatic over things the Bible is not dogmatic over. Don’t build a life on a false religion but on the true religion that is the gospel of Jesus. His life, death and resurrection. All the scriptures point to this and draw this out. And sadly we have made it about so much more than that at times and it’s hurt people to their very core.

The Truth will always remain, only the devil deceives. Will pray for this lady which has a truly wonderful gift, I can feel the Holy Spirit when listening to her music

Everything that she listed as reasons to leave her faith are all things I have thought or felt but they never changed my belief in God. Then when she said she was “coached” away from that, that’s exactly what happens. Wow.

Audrey i admire you so much. Your music brings me closer to god than anyone else ever has. When im going sideways that day I liaten to one song by chance and suddenly im like oh its time to have my daily walk with Heavenly Father and Jesus. Bevause you make me want to sing again. I cant NOT sing and god is using you to reach out on his behalf. Your a heralding angel that calls the unisual christians thqy don't feel like goid enough to go into church and you change that. I dont mean to sound crazy but she is so precious to me. Listening to her touches my soul so much i have to listen to her in private cause its so personal and I will get emotional and all in my feels. Honestly, not surprised at all. Saw this coming a long time ago. So many people break into the Christian music industry who are not true believers and that stuff will always manifest itself. Belief, trust and love for the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ runs deeper than your love for a religion, your experimentation or school of thought. Again, not surprised at to hear this coming from her. Knew it would rear its head

Yeah... the pain from abandonment in a divorce or betrayal by the person who was supposed to love you the most hurts like nothing else in this world. 🕊️ But Jesus overcame it all and so will we by following Him :)

Nothing new here. Religion based in fear will always lead to deconstruction of your belief in some way. Being religious is a tough gig. Thank God He is massive and powerful. He loves Audrey and will continue to go after her with the real truth. Especially because of prayer and when we are faithless He is faithful

I think that, eventually, people who tend to think deeply think all of these same things, at some point in their lives. How can you not? I did, definitely. (Not that I'm so much more intelligent than anyone else. I'm not.) My Christian faith remains strong, despite all of that. It's been a weird road. I respect Audrey's intelligence and her creativity so much. Her voice is something other- worldly. It's amazing. Everyone's road is different, and we can all respect each other's journey and give each other grace. She once had a deep rooted faith (although complicated by her upbringing and her own psyche, which is all of our stories, if we are honest, right?), and I think that people who have had that faith once don't ever truly abandon it. I don't know her head or her heart. I just feel something deep within her, and I don't think she will discard it all, somehow.

this is quite disturbing this is New Ageism (ATHEISM). I pray that God/Holy Spirit will heal her soul. Whatever wounded her soul, to cause her to deny the truth that she once (purported) to believe, needs to be purged.

She chose her feelings and experience. Her view. How she looks at them. She is relying on her own understanding. She decided to trust her feelings over the word of God. When you doubt, choose not to believe what is written. Have faith in the word of God. Not your measly 40+ years of life. Peon brains we have. She made her own religion based off of her peon brain and experience.

The anointing has left the building. My Jesus! Help her!

Jesus is the "whole thing" she seeks yet misses by a mile while immersed in word salad. Let her come to the truth. She is certainly blessed by talent.

Sometimes people expect that feelings need to be there in order to believe or have faith. Doubt is essential to genuine faith. Believing she is finite is important to understanding who we are. So many people want to put God in a box and when they move away from it perhaps they are coming closer to him. Ad majorem Dei gloriam.

Audrey, I found the book Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince very freeing, as it presents the gospel in a very a different way, very much opposed to legalistic denominations. As part of your deconstruction/reconstruction of your world view, I think this may help and would highly recommend it.

You are created in the image of God. That's what you are. You are so so so much bigger than your participation in the cosmos. You are above nature. You are. You are an heir with Christ, and you are called to rule and reign in love. You are not a blade of grass. You are a conscious being called to steward that blade of grass, and all of the created world. You will judge angels. You are one with Christ. You are more than non-conscious realities.

She is going through what I went through. Trying to understand a world that I never will. That alone made my mind go into circles for the longest time. Our existence, the why's, how's, what for's. I understood that this planet of full of misery but also full of beauty. That as kind and gentle we can be there is also a dark side. That all of us are capable of building but also of destroying. But most importantly that believing in something is better than believing in nothing. That when the difficult times come we need something or someone to reach out to, to anchor, to ask for help. She looks like a lost soul looking for answers that she may never find. I can see the pain in her eyes. I know it. I've been there. It's a dark place. I grew up Christian. I witnessed the injustice and hypocrisy of leaders but also saw the good that we did for many out there. I opted to believe in a higher power which in my case is God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit. It has nothing to do with religion, or a churche, or denominations. It goes beyond.

No Audrey. You are a child of God.

I loved her music but after learning her change I stopped following her. Listening to this interview makes me sadder and I pray that God will show her and call her back.

By the way, the Bible says in 1st John 2:19, "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us." According to this scripture you were never really saved. You may have gone to church, and handed out tracks, and worn a cross, but you weren't really saved. This is NOT my opinion but God's word. If you were talking about some other youtuber's opinion, then you could say, "Well, I think..." But we are talking about the ETERNAL, ALL-POWERFUL, CREATOR of the universe. Who says, "Can the gods of the other nations (religions) tell you the future? No! They are mere lifeless idols." But I..." and then He proceeds to give us over one thousand prophecies in the Bible to demonstrate that God's word can be trusted. He also adds over one hundred scientific facts in scripture in all fields of science that were written down, thousands of years BEFORE the great scientists of the world would discover them. For example, up to a few hundred years ago surgeons used to wash their hands in basins of water, until they discovered it became a bowl of germs. They started using running water. The Bible instructed the use of running water thousands of years earlier. Soldiers used to die from disease, until they finally figured out to do their toilet business outside the camp. The Bible thousands of years before this, instructed the Israeli soldiers to take a small shovel outside the camp and bury their waste. Doctors used to drain blood (blood-letting) from sick patients, but thousands of years ago the Bible said, the life is in the blood. It wasn't until a couple hundred years ago, that oceanographers discovered mountains rising off the ocean floor, but the Bible thousands of years ago spoke of these mountains. The Bible says, "It is God who spreads out the stars." Astrophysicists now say the very fabric of space is spreading out taking the galaxies along for the ride. Up until about five hundred years ago, astronomers thought there was about 4,000-5,000 stars. But the Bible in Genesis compares the number of stars to the grains of sand along the seashore. Astronomers now say there are at least twice as many stars as sand on all the beaches of the world. Albert Einstein in his paper on relativity stated that matter, energy, space and time itself all had a beginning. But thousands of years earlier in Genesis chapter one the Bible says, "In the beginning (a reference to time having a beginning) God created the earth (matter) the heavens (space) and said let there be light (energy). I don't want to make this so long people won't read it, but you can go any Christian bookstore and find books on the hundreds and hundreds of fulfilled prophecies, in the Bible. There were 256 totally fulfilled prophecies concerning the birth, life, ministry, and death of Christ alone. So, God in HIS word has told of science thousands of years in advance of it being discovered by the great scientific minds of the world, He has spoken prophetic utterances that have come true, over and over again, in a literal, not metaphorical sense, again, to demonstrate His authority. He is God, we are His creation. This is His world, His universe. He is sovereign. Look, it's a great deal; surrender to His only means of forgiving our sins and reconciling ourselves to HIM, Christ dying on the cross, and reap eternal life, eternal peace, eternal health, and eternal joy. OR reject His offer of pardon and receive your just punishment. I choose Jesus Christ.

Upton Sinclair said, “It is difficult to get a person to understand something, when their salary depends on them not understanding it.” It’s incredibly brave of Audrey to do the difficult work of rethinking her deeply-held beliefs, and to do it so publicly.

I remember when Audrey would host Christian open mics around West Palm Beach. She had a beautiful voice. But sad to see her go.

Faith cannot be deconstructed Faith is from God.

The problem with us is we deny human suffering. Jesus helps us acknowledge it through the way He suffered for our fallen nature. It's very simple. Come back to Jesus.

Questioning institutions and organizations and traditions seems just fine to me....but Christ transcends all of those things. As a Christian, i most assuredly see Gods presence in a blade of grass and His Spirit in every breath I take- there's nothing unchristian in that. I really feel this deconstruction stuff is more about people deconstricting what they think the Christian faith is than what Christian faith actually is. The Source, existence, the I AM, the eternal, the Christ, He transcends all our religious conventions and descriptions

It's a good quality to be a "seeker"; not to have fixed ideas. Children, the ones we have to be like if we wish to see the kingdom of heaven, have this seeking quality. Open-mindedness can lead to the Truth. You remind me of Nicodemus, Audrey, whose world was turned upside down when faced with a Messiah unlike the one the Jewish people expected.

These individuals never make sense. You would think that she didn't know that she was on planet Earth, in the Galaxy called the Milky Way, amongst millions of other galaxies while she was a Christian. She has such an obvious God given gift, but when we start looking to the world and not God’s word we open ourselves up to this kind of nihilism, and new agey view. I am sad for her but I will still listen to some of her much older music and pray for her

I wonder if something Joseph Prince teaches is relevant here in that the law (demand) brings death whereas grace and truth (supply) bring life and that well meaning parents ramming law down the throats of their children actually does harm and wounds them, whereas Grace and truth brings life and wholeness. The bible says grace and truth came through Jesus Christ so I suppose this is where the focus should be. I wasn’t brought up in a Christian home my parents were not demanding at all, so I have not been through the trauma of Audrey but it does seem that so many strict religious law based upbringings can cause much harm, for me the permanent gift of righteousness, the law fulfilled for us by Jesus, the abundance of grace, Jesus paying for all our sins, past present and future,, this is the gospel I believe in.

So Audrey, how do you now answer Jesus' question "who do you say that I am?"

This is heartbreaking. The bible warns against leaning on your own wisdom: Proverbs 3:5 (ESV) Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Ecclesiastes 1:18 (ESV) For in much wisdom is much vexation, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Universalism. That’s what she’s talking about. This is not a bad thing, but hone it in sister lol. I believe her vision is a bit too broad. Narrow is the Way. This biblical truth & encouragement is not a prison, but rather a matter of staying focused. There is a balance. In other words for instance, “I respect other religions & understand that people achieve high spiritual understanding through those avenues.. but that is it. I respect it. I do not believe it & believe that my way works best for me.” For me, Christ & the Cross are the truth. It is what holds all things together & I accept that others may not necessarily share in those truths as they go try to find their own way. I also agree that spirituality comes with a lot of nuance but she is really broad. The is no healthy spirituality outside of the power of God. People shouldn’t judge her, it’s her journey.

Wow this is incredibly sad. Don't gibe up on God. He's not the problem. Sometimes Christians behave badly just like anyone else. Sad, because by embracing all, she is rejecting Jesus. He said (to the exclusionof everything else) "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me..." In Christ's own words (and deed, as well as intent) He is very exclusivistic, not inclusive... hence an inclusion of all is a rejection of Him and His claim.😢

I find there is a spirit at work that is of ancient days. I seek no joy in destruction of another one's opionion, merely wish to point out the narrow way of Jesus and the Cross. As Jesus said: narrow is the way, and broad the way that is gone underfoot by many. Feel grace in that there is blessing in knowing Jesus. I presume for now that is all you need to know. This is what happens to a person when they think they can save themselves by their own understanding at the same time they're saying they don't understand anything, it would have been better if she never knew the ways of righteous than to know and turn away, for now her end state is worse than the beginning, not only am I very disappointed in her but even more disappointed in the brethren that were around her that allowed her to become so shipwrecked that there now is probably no hope for her, For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. Let this be a warning to all of us, lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge the Lord.

I feel so sorry for Audrey. She had some great songs. It is unfortunate that she had a meltdown. But, peoples's feelings don't supersede Existential Truths. There is nothing deeper or greater than God. Hopefully, Audrey will reach out to God again.

Audrey -- you are my sister in Christ. Your 'smallness' or 'nothingness' is only one end of the spectrum. It is good to meditate on this, however it should be done in context of the entire picture. The other end of that spectrum is that God is everything -- all knowing, all loving, and all powerful. Because of God you are something -- you are made in His image and likeness and most importantly through your baptism you are beloved daughter of God. Yes, there are trillions of galaxies and in comparison we can feel insignificant. Despite all of these beautiful splendors of His creation -- God elevated you to Him. If it's OK, I would like to offer up three things that I'd like you to consider: 1) in a consistent manner, mediate on the glory of God...and the fact that He elevated you (through baptism) to be a His daughter 2) In prayer, go to the Blessed Virgin Mary...give her your thoughts...and ask her for guidance (which comes from Jesus, but flows through Our Lady) and 3) Adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament on a weekly basis. Bring to Him all of your thoughts and struggles. He is waiting for you. I will keep you in my prayers and wish nothing but the best for you. On a complete side note, your song "Even Unto Death" is so beautifully written. If my soul could sing a song....it would be that. Thank you for this beautiful work of art.

So in the same breath say just said she found freedom thinking philosophically for herself and at the same time her mind is a prison. That’s quite inconsistent. Christianity gives answers to problems we have. We must our minds that God has given to discover truth. Then our hearts to accept the reality of that truth.
