You are incredibly wrong. If you use an anniversary cake in every game during the event, you'll get more BP than if you save them. Also, 200 cakes isn't a lot; you can easily use them. If you use them as intended, you can get 2,000+ cakes. The entitlement of you telling killers and survivors how to play the game is insane. This video is INCREDIBLY embarrassing for you.

Me personally, imma always bring a cobbler regardless, I’m playin for MY POINTS, fuck everybody else 😂 also to keep in mind, Idgaf if nobody else brings them either, mfs be dcing if it’s only 3/4 but I’ll always play it out anyways, and then on top of all that, I’ve noticed the number of cobblers never matters to anybody, killers will still sweat/play dirty and survivors will throw/dc 🤷🏾‍♂️

when the event was on I brought the eventcakes, but the event has finished and there's no reason why to bring the eventcakes because there's nothing going on to give you extra blood points, and if you do bring it it's a massive waste because a lot of times Killers are camping and tunneling, and proxy camping. So you don't get any benefits out of the eventcakes, so this is why I use regular cakes and Bloody Party Streamers. So I am waiting till there is a double blood point.

It's the end of the event and I have 800+ cobblers. I bring a cobblers to every trial because I know I can get it back easily. Outside of the event I never bring cobblers except when I am 4 stacking. I have been playing regular games on survivor throughout the whole event. I feel the same way about the event.

I hear you on the saving old event items. I still have moonlight offerings and old map offerings that dont exist anymore. A while back they made it so I cant play them, but thats cool. I wasnt gonna anyway. I have cakes from every anniversary, and other old event offerings. One thing I think is that the devs should just make it so you dont get the bonus from event offerings unless you bring one yourself. Then these people will stop complaining when someone else doesnt bring one since the person who didnt bring one dont get the bonus anyway. Who cares?

Not only that point of view is extremely petty, you're shooting yourself in the foot. Most of Dbd history, when you brought an offering from an event, YOU get a bonus that you wouldn't receive without it OR not bringing it would make it extremely hard to do the event. (and that's not even looking at the BP aspect). Since you don't like them, at least now you're not going to be forced to play the event, feel free to ignore them in the future

I guess this only applies to those who don't play very much during the event, because I brought the new cobbler every time I played, and I still have over 400 of them after the fact. I made out like a bandit with BPs.

The way I see if it, if a killer is tunneling u they were prolly gonna do that anyway regardless of what offering you brought (unless its a map offering that pissed them off or something ofc) so like bring the cakes so at least you get something more out of it than just wasting your time lol And if ur playing even relatively consistently it should be pretty easy to get your cakes back and then some

Cobblers are completely useless to you and essentially the same as a regular escape cake if youre not stacking them with the cobblers of other players, so at the end of the day the only person youre screwing over is yourself by trying to greed them, because good luck getting a 5 cobbler stack outside of the anniversary season

Dude! There is no reason to NOT bring cobblers. Killers are gonna play sweaty regardless of a event or not that’s just how DbD is. You’re putting yourself at a disadvantage by not bringing them, less BP for you and everyone else. I got over a 1,000 cobblers on two different survivors and brought cake every match. There is no point in hoarding them because once the event is over you aren’t gonna get a high percentage of bps again. I could careless if a tunneling camping killer gets more bp because I added a cake as long as I can knock out a gen get a couple saves and chase I’m good. I don’t care about escaping. It’s all about them bps.

Bro, you're absolutely wrong. You use the cobblers, and you get 108% extra BP. Meaning you can buy 108% more cobblers than before. This stacks multiplicatively. You get like 10+ cobblers for every cobbler you spend. Not using them isn't selfish, it's actually just dumb. You actively robbed yourself of gains.

So, you're out here complaining about kill rates, and that the game is killer sided and complaining about bloodlust when some of the most recent patches have literally buffed how fast survivors can do gens? Then you come out here and say, that survivors getting mad that a killer isn't playing their way is petty, and then you rant on for the rest of the video complaining and being petty that killers in the event's aren't playing the way you want them too. I'll never bring them, and I never have after year 3, I hoarded all the cakes from year 4 to 8, and I always will for my life. I'll never reward a killer with them ever again, all do to year 3 being awful. I only will use them when I'm in a 4 man swf.

Exactly. I go through this every anniversary. I use anniversary cake, I get tunnelled/ camped/slugged, I get mori'd, killer uses meta perks, and then I bust out the adrenaline, decisive, unbreakable, and off the record, i get tunnelled some more. I'm never using cakes during the anniversary ever again. I have enough friends to have a 4-man once in a while and I'll use them. I've had this game since 2018, during the event I'm going to play scummy like they do.

People who are upset that people didn’t bring cobblers blow my mind. The message of not bringing cobblers as a survivor basically said, I refuse to reward the way killers are playing during this event by not sharing my cobblers with them. It’s that simple. Alot of survivors were genuinely unhappy during the event, not because it was killer sided but because a lot of killers came into the match with every intention of ruining any possible chance at survivors doing any objective to gain bloodpoints during the event. The event was extremely killer sided and that’s okay, but there was no benefit to playing as survivor when you could make triple the amount of points playing as killer 🤷🏾‍♀️. So for the survivors who don’t play killer, either you force yourself to play a string of bad (unfun/unfair) matches, switch to regular mode or don’t play. There was a reason the bonus for survivors were more than killer majority of the event. I played more killer this event than ever because it was insanely easy to get bloodpoints and it felt worth it. Not to mention the event happened while people are still learning how to play against a new killer, with new killer perks and add ons and alot of killers used that to their advantage (as they should I guess). But when you get a strong nurse coming into the game who ends the match in less than 5 min tunneling off hook b4 the survivor could even pick up an anniversary gift, that says that that player did not care if anyone got points besides themselves 🤷🏾‍♀️. So they have the right to be selfish but survivors don’t? Survivors were fed up. Then we are expected to just keep bringing cobblers just to get 3 lich players back to back who also played the exact same way. Cry me a river if you think that’s fun or even tolerable to go against especially in solo q. Hell, even me and my swf barely had fun even if we did escape 😂. Unfortunately, it’s more a player base problem and not an event problem. The events just continue to incentivize toxic gameplay with more bloodpoints for shitting on the opposite side and this time, survivor got the short end of the stick. I literally got a SM who’s name was “Spreading hate” and they didn’t bring a cobbler and just used every tactic they could to get ppl to DC or be stuck at 5 gens and just give up. Some killers also didn’t bring cobblers 🤷🏾‍♀️. Survivors didn’t even trust the friendly killers this event 🤷🏾‍♀️. That being said this event definitely was the worst one by far and I suffered through it just for the sake of getting the cobblers and event rewards. Playing killer was quite enjoyable though. Definitely agree with the video
