Why I don't build Anti-Healing into Warwick Top 

Anti-heal is the least efficient if you buy it as the first item because that’s the time when the enemy has the least healing. Unless you are really ahead already and you happen to have an extra 800 gold to spend, it is always better to rush for your item powerspike first. Anyway, Warwick is a free stomp for Illaoi and you should never need anti-heal against him.

Why not go Thornmail on Illaoi? What about a first comeback with Bramble Vest? I'm asking as someone who's only a silver, so don't expect me to outplay a Warwick like Dirty Mobs did.

@@nooneinparticular3370 If you are just talking about the matchup against Warwick, you don’t need it. Warwick and Illaoi are two of my highest mastery champions. As I have said Warwick is supposed to be a free stomp matchup for Illaoi. Even if you somehow lose lane against him you outscale him so hard he wouldn’t be able to play the game. Anyway, Bramble Vest stats are not good for Illaoi and there are always more efficient items you would like to build, unless the enemies have a full AD team comp and all have healings.

@@nooneinparticular3370thornmail is a situationally strong item. Sure all items can be argued to be so but chempunk gives illaoi stats that are consistently useful to her. Thornmail doesn't If theres 3 auto attacking AD threats then it's for sure worth as a 3rd or 4th item but not as a second and never a first. The exception being good ol frostfire in S13. The slow was invaluable. Still good but if you look at Illaoi data atk dmg + hp items are preforming infinitely better than it 1st and 2nd items, unlike S13. Use Lolalytics if your curious, recommended by riot august and some others. As for first backing with bramble it's an 800 gold setback towards your first item. Your opponent will be more powerful than you with a full item vs your components and bramble.

@@enochzhen7133 I see. I'm asking because I went Bramble Vest + Steelcaps against an Irelia and it went really well for me, so I was wondering if maybe there's something better. Mind you, I go Grasp of the Undying on her and not Conqueror, since I like tankier bruisers.

I should say, always listen to the Challenger player not the random, but I think Mobs' perspective here is from someone more skilled than his opponent, so it's not good advice for most people who are gonna be about even

I don't know the answer, but I would assume it's because you don't want extended trades against warwick. As mobs said, you don't go auto for auto so the grasp heal and proc damage helps with those short trades. Also, since he's squishy, you don't need conq damage to kill as opposed to a tank where you might.
