Yup christianity hijacked many pagan traditions and incorporated them into their holidays to make it easier to convert pagans in tha early days of christianity. Imo religion (ALL ORGANIZED RELIGIONS) is an abomination on this Earth.

Furthermore the few birthday celebrations in the Bible end up in death. The Almighty hate lies so stop celebrating lies. Christians won’t observe the festivals that’s in the scriptures but they find it easy to celebrate man made holidays. They would either say it’s abolish or it’s for the Jews. @@jenniferstechow6278 Quite a number of 7th Day Adventists do, not because they believe that the Saviour was born on 25th December but by putting up decorations, including having Christmas trees in their home, even in the church, sending Christmas cards, holding Christmas parties, cooking traditional Christmas dinner etc.

My sister, my sister this was perfectly scriptural. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. This is our first year of practicing obedience. I lead it in my house from things I have read and studied. What have we been doing. Satan has deceived the whole would and has set up shop right in Christianity.

I discovered these celebrated holidays were rooted in paganism. I felt a little nostalgic and have yet to destroy all the decor. We even wondered if the balled ornaments were ok to keep. @@Homeschoolingtorah A lot of churches today celebrate Christmas and when I try to tell them the truth, they make all kinds of excuses and saying that they celebrate the birth of Jesus (Yeshua) Christ and that he is the reason for the season. In the New Testament of the Bible the disciples or those who were around Jesus (Yeshua) Christ did not celebrate his birth.

Thanx Ann. I agree 38th you. I love the LORD with all of me. I knew since the 80's the TRUTH about the pagan origin of holidays. I didn't celebrate for awhile then I did again. I just recently in May through prayer and realizing my need for a SAVIOR, stopped going through life as a Spiritual Zombie! I repented and told the LORD that i would only worship HIM only. I wept so much i almost took out our kayak... lol. I decided this was the day. Glancing over at the landing above where we kept our artificial tree and orniments, I then prayed for strenth to get it all down. I asked the LORD playfully if I could borrow one of HIS 17+ft Angels and HE did. Dragging the tree and orniments to the burn pit I then explained to my husband about why and he agreed and we burned it all. Do you know I felt so free and giddy! Our daughter moved out of state and we would decorate our tree together her and her fiance by Skyping one another. The togetherness I'll miss but my promise will be kept to the LORD. I will pray and fast untill I go to our daughters for dinner or perhaps I may just pray and fast all the day. I want to let GOD know that i will focus on JESUS only HOS one and only SON that was sent in the form of a babe to die for for us as GOD and man on the cross for our sins. The church I attend still celebrates this way and everyone i know. Everyone thinks I'm a scrooge... No I'm commited to JESUS...Looking at all what's intailed now is like nails across the chalk board. ssscccrrraaapppppeee! When asked why I will say... She’s very knowledgeable.....and most of what she’s saying is the truth.... people do your own research. Knowledge is indeed power. There’s a lot of information out there on this pagan ritual we call Christmas. Don’t get me wrong as recent as last year I am guilty of being part of the festivities and decorating my home with tons of decorations etc but a dear friend sent me a video about Christmas after watching it I was so convicted and now on my on journey of discovery. Our God is a jealous God. When we put up all these things we’re worshiping the devil... like what she’s saying or not she’s going to save souls with this message. Do your own research....
First, I appreciate how kind you are in the way you explained everything. I appreciate that you didn't come down on Christians who do celebrate it. I also appreciate how gentle your tone was, not cynical or mocking. Now, if I may, I'd like to share a different perspective. I once babysat some kids who were watching a story of the true meaning of the Christmas tree and it was all about how the ancient Egyptians and Romans used palms and green leaves as a symbol of worship to their gods. Pagans would bring evergreens into their homes during the winter months and decorate them with nuts to brighten the mood. There are several stories of how this transformed into the modern Christmas tree. One story is of Saint Boniface, a Benedictine Monk in Germany who comes across a group of pagans making sacrifices to the god, ‘Thor’ before an oak tree. Apparently Boniface becomes angry, cuts down the oak with an axe, and the pagans all gather expecting the monk to be immediately struck down by Thor and his big hammer. When Boniface is still standing, however, he takes the opportunity to share the Gospel with those gathered and they all choose Jesus. The legend goes that a fir tree grew out of the stump of the fallen oak and that's where how the Christmas tree was born. It's a pretty close analogy to what the Christmas tree represents - new life growing through the arrival of Jesus on the earth. And not just the new life of Jesus’ birth, but what that birth means for us. The tree points to the sky and the star represents how Jesus was found by the shepherds. They followed this star. Also. We give gifts to one another bc the Wisemen gave gifts to Jesus. My gift to Jesus is my complete and total devotion to Him as a missionary with human trafficking abolition. I'm not saying everyone has to do that, that's just mine. In addition, the nativity scene is all about Jesus. Scripture says we shouldn't create an image of God. It does not say that we shouldn't make an image of Jesus. That's why no church has created an image of God, but many, if not all, have some sort of image somewhere inside their building of Jesus. Whether it's an image of Him on the cross, an image of Him spending time with children, an image of Him and the disciples at the Last Supper, or an image of Him holding a lamb...we see images of Jesus, but we don't worship the images. It's just to look at, to to take in the stories we believe are facts. We also give children color sheets to make Jesus real to them because He is Man and He is God, He is our Brother, and He is our best friend, but God is also God and Scripture says He is spirit and He is our eternal Father, so we do not make an image of Him. So that's why I celebrate Christmas. I don't do Santa bc that's lying and when I have kids, I won't be doing "Elf On the Shelf" either also bc that's lying. Scripture talks about 16 strongholds and the spirit of error is one of them, which enters through deception, so I'm clear about that and want no part of that or the other 15 strongholds. I don't see how celebrating Christmas opens a spiritual door to any of the 16 strongholds and I really love how that missionary took a stand for truth. He preached the Gospel. He fulfilled the Great Commission. I'd actually love to see more Christians doing this bc afterall, it's the Great Commission, not the "Great Suggestion." 😉

Hello, thank you for making this video. I agree with you. I just cant bring my self to justify celebrating Christmas or Halloween as a Christian woman. I cant get pass the satanic symbolism of the decorations and rituals either. the argument I hear from Christians that are for this holiday is that they are worshiping Jesus and bringing glory to Him; but if JAH didn't accept strange fire as Holy Worship to Him from the sons of Aron Leviticus 10:1-2 and if He Is the same yesterday, today and forever, Hebrews 13:8 I don't think He will accept something evil that was used for satans worship as Holy worship to Himself now. we as children of God are suppose to set the example. God says to let your light shine in this dark world, if we blend with the darkness, dimming our light by compromising our faith, how are the people who are blinded by the deceptions of the enemy suppose to see Jesus? I want to do what is right and if is okay to celebrate then fine if not then I wont, but the arguments I have heard that are for this Holiday are just not cutting it for me. we have all year to worship our savior's birth and to evangelize to our friends and neighbors; why choose this day when pagans have always and are still today worship their sun god?. another fact I cant reconcile with is that the Jesus asked His disciples to commemorate His death not His birth which makes sense because it is the foundation of our faith that Jesus gave his life in our place for our sins on the cross, was in the grave for 3 days and by the power of The Holy spirit was resurrected out of the grave so that anyone who believes this will be saved and resurrected from the grave too when Jesus returns for us. "when the Son of man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?" I can see how this might be possible and it hurts because Jesus was faithful to the very end, without compromise, He deserves our best.

My soon to be wife and I have recently left a very high control group pretending to be “religion” and we are desperately trying to not throw the baby out with the bath water. I believe there’s a god, I am deeply grateful for the life that I have, I have been praying for understanding and reading the Bible for the first time without indoctrination literature and an approved set of conclusions I must reach…it’s been incredible. That said, we’ve both been wishing we could learn some new perspectives and see if anyone out there has things figured out. We certainly don’t lol. If I may share something briefly, a common trend I’ve noticed is that many people that have left this same cult like, high control group, have adopted other religions that teach the opposite of what they were taught, just out of spite or simply because it goes against those teachings. For example, the Trinity. I for the life of me, can’t figure out how the holy spirt I pray for, is the same as Jesus, who is the same as the father. The ancient writers of the Bible had a special reverence for YHWY (does anyone know for sure how to say that? Lol) We pray to the father through Jesus. Jesus is our mediator and savior, and we ask for gods Holy Spirit to help us. Jesus said the father is greater, doesn’t that sort of end any notion that they are the same “being”? I also see a lot of people embracing things like Christmas which I completely agree is a materialistic, pagan and harmful holiday. I stopped celebrating the pagan occasion 37 years ago. It was very difficult at first be a back then there were very few that did not celebrate. But after we learned about what we were doing and where all those customs came from, we made the decision to no longer engage in such practices. We still do not. We’re so happy to see that so many are coming to knowledge and that we are not alone. Thank for your video to help explain to others why Christmas is not good.

We have been stripping pagan things and leaving all of that in thr past and following Yahs feasts. As i was listening to this, it made me think of the verse in Corinthians about satan appearing as an angel of light and the other fallen angels. Pagam holidays in reality are satan appearing as light. Making those days appear as light, counterfiet n false. he certainly dresses it up nice and really gets us with our feelings, smells, tugs at our hearts but how ugly it really is when you see it for what it really is. I appreciate this video, and im new to finding your schooling methids etc but it came at the right time and I know that Yah orchestrated this. Ive been weeding out curriculum, ive been wanting to do school biblically based but ive been lost in where to begin. Christina Newman speaking for my own family: no. We do not buy presents and we have asked family to no longer buy presents for us. Instead, I have encouraged family that if there is something they would like to get for us or our children at any point in the year, by all means, get it... but please don’t wrap it in Christmas paper. Wrap it in love, and give without strings. We don’t need a special time of year to get each other gifts. My children get things as they need them or earn them throughout the year.
We don't purchase Christmas presents. Instead, we started purchasing things for our son throughout the year if he needed or really wanted something. We didn't wait for a specific day to give him those things. We really liked it better that way!!

I came to this conclusion by reading the bible. The first commandment is "Thou shalt not have any god before me". A god could be something that you cherish more than God himself. Christmas itself can draw us away from God deceiving us to think we are doing his will by celebrating this holiday.

Hi there, I really appreciate your video. I didn't seek out information on the pagan origins of Christmas, but I believe the Lord has been bringing it to my attention for several months now. Ever since I started following Christ, about three years ago, I've felt weird about Christmas every year but this year, I'm understanding why. I'm still new to the whole Torah thing and praying that God will help me navigate it and understand it. I would like to email you as I have questions if that's okay. I have a question about wreaths in general. Just decorative ones, not ever green ones. Is there an evil pagan history behind those as well? I just think they're really pretty with a last name initial and some seasonal floral on a front door. I would love your input on that. And also about Christmas, would you say it's okay to "feast" with your family that day and "celebrate" Christs birth? I've decided we're not doing any gifts at all next year and I'm getting rid of all our Christmas decorations and any pagan traditions. We're going to try our best at least, I feel like there's always something pagan we do that we don't know. It's also tricky because not everyone celebrates Christ in my family. I have seen teachings on YT that state that there were more than 3 kings; if there was a group the size of a small army, that could possibly explain why Herod and all of Yerushilayim were distressed at the Magi's arrival. Shalom sister. Romans 14 is about days of fasting vs days of feasting, as well as eating clean meat vs just eating veggies. It's not telling us we can worship however we want, or eat whatever we want. Plenty of examples in Scripture of people trying to worship Father YAH how they wanted. It was never good. Just look at the golden calf, for one. Hope this helps in your understanding, my friend. Praying for you.

I stopped celebrating about 13 years ago when I found out the truth in the Bible. A lot of Bible study brought out a lot of Truth about pagan holidays.
They don't want to get it because of they do, they have to acknowledge that they're wrong and need to change. Most humans aren't welcoming to correction.

The NIV and all new versions come from Alexandria, Egypt which is to say, the Catholics, and I hear you that you want nothing to do with it. NIV also takes the blood out of Scripture. Even though i'm jewish I wish I could ever celebrate christmas, I looked at christmas as the way you said you saw it as a kid. I wanted it so much but I never got it or gonna get it. I mean my dad only celebrated Hanukkah once which was just was 5 doller gifts each 8 days. So anyone who celebrate christmas must be pretty lucky.
Hufinner those of us who no longer celebrate feel more blessed now to stop celebrating it than I ever felt when I did celebrate it. Christmas is a curse to me now... it’s shoved down my throat everywhere I go. I get the songs stuck in my head, my children have to see the garbage about Santa... it drives me nuts. Every year at this time I cannot wait until January. Instead, I have SO MUCH JOY in celebrating my Messiah during all the Feasts of the Lord... our family LOVES Passover and Tabernacles. The day of Atonement and the day of Trumpets are holy and solemn reminders of the judgement coming and the holiness of our King. Christianity didn’t come to the north for many years later. Christianity started north of Israel. St. Nicholas was a Bishop from a town in Turkey- he helped the impoverished.
