I've heard of a lot of experiences like this where the person claims that they felt something that corresponded with a loved one's death.. But I don't think it will impact me (as a scientific/sceptic) until/if it happens to me. The obvious reason is that people can have all kinds of experiences and they might happen before, during or after someone's passing, but we can't prove that they really mean anything beyond the experiencer's brain is doing something interesting. IE, we can't prove that this is caused by an external event that the person would not have known had happened. I guess my thought is that while we hear about the instances when such occurrences happen eerily close to an actual time of death, we don't hear about all the times when they may have happend at a time that was definitely way before a person died, or way after, mainly because, well, those don't carry the same shock value. In this situation, this nurse already knew that this person was actively dying, so it's not a stretch for her mind to produce something akin to this type of experience (playing devil's advocate). If she was not a nurse, not seeing this patient every day, etc., it might be a bit more convincing. Many of the the instance I've heard of similar events were from people who KNEW that their loved one was in the final stages of life. I'm more interested in the ones where this was completely unknown...
