I feel what you mean. Arras’s movement of the tanks and drone are more up and down and less diagonal, so it seems more jerky. I personally dislike arras. But arras has accomplished most things diep failed at.
I enjoy arras.io more because, 1. Dying has no punishment 2. I feel it’s more of a challenge when everyone is top tier 3. I enjoy how fast you can move 4. And I enjoy some of the tanks better on arras.io
For me arras suffers from framerate drops and high ping fluctuation. Also way too many stats to max and almost too many tanks to check out but they somehow all feel underpowered
frame rate drops, and ping fluctuation is because the severs arnt made to host so many players I think, and Im pretty sure the owners of arras.io are trying to switch the game over to better servers.
those circle things are called eggs. i think you already know what they do now, based on the name. they hatch into squares, then the square grows to a triangle, then the triangle grows to a pentagon and so on.

The thing I love about arras.io is that is has a "press N to level up" system. You don't have to waste time to try to farm to level 45 to actually join fights. saves much time and effort.
I am a arras player and i played it for a long time now, i completely agree with what you said, but im more creative that playing so i make private servers which i enjoy and the moves dont bug me much since im very used to it. great video btw
the only problem that i have with arras, they made annihilator literally unplayable, it relies on it's knockback but in arras it doesn't exist and they didn't add anything to atleast kinda balance it out
I think that arras is great, and I play it frequently, but I see what you mean. The servers are laggy, and crash frequently. Also, the fact that you can press N to level up immediately is pretty bad in my opinion, because you can just respawn, level up instantly, and get right back out. This means that there's not much motivation to avoid dying, and not much motivation to kill other players either, so I get why you would like diep over arras
What I think would make diep better-more modes including maze 2tdm and 4tdm also make spam tanks such as Penta spread and sprayer somehow less op.Also frequent buffs/nerds to tanks that need it.
"Bosses are more cancer." Does that mean insanely easy to kill? Edit: Ok, I've never seen that one. But hey, it takes multiple people to kill a diep.io boss too!
Personally, I think arras.io is a pretty good game. You got a lot more tanks and you don't have to shoot the shapes to level up; you could just press n! And this might makes me sound lazy but I'm not that good at surviving and leveling up in Diep.io. But I do agree that the movements in arras.io is really strange compare to Diep.io
All drone classes with the right build are just stupidly op, you literally only need to aim the mouse at someone and they die. Literally the only counter would be rammers
I like arras.io because there are so many more tanks. I hated the no momentum in the beginning, but i just completely got used to it. Also, you should mess with spike bounce with your friends. That's literally the best part of arras is the spike bounce. You can always have fun with that at least.
eh, the biggest thing i hate is how insufferably slow diepio seems to take compared to how quick some battles are, combined with the tanks' realistic inertia that feels like you're just suggesting your tank where to go (also basically requiring max move speed on nearly any powerful build) . seeing how fast and controllable arras is i might try it out now lmao
I like Arras more than Diep, because the bullets in Arras fly out of the cannon, and in Diep the cannon can look straight, but the shot can come from somewhere in the back of the tank and the bullet can fly to the left (this is a situation from a real game without exaggeration).
Well yeah, but this is kind of the same excuse that I used to play Splatoon 1 instead of Splatoon 2. Although it *would* make sense how Arras's movement is slower, they supposedly rebuilt the whole thing from scratch. In my opinion Arras is more of a team game, because you aren't as agile and you can level up quick (even without instant level ups).
I do agree on this point. arras.io's physics are nowhere as good as diep.io's. I mean like you can literally ram with any tanks, while some tanks on the whole hardly do any damage. It's all so whack. The upside of it which I've enjoyed the most so far is fast level up so players don't get too frustrated easily.
Arras's movements are really instant, there isn't as much velocity when turning and stuff idk why. I also perfer diep. Also idk why but ramming in arras is just weird, tanks can't overlapse. If you want to ram someone it take much longer after you connected.
The only reason I play arras is because they have a lot more tanks and different gamemodes, and the game is being actively developed, while diep is not being updated anymore. If the diep developer started updating like adding gamemodes and new tank, I'd continue playing diep, but its there in the changelog. The developer is simply not working on it anymore.
Honestly, arras is fun but I don't like how to have any shield you need to efficiently waste upgrade points; it would probably be better without shields at all, especially from the perspective of rammers(also a side note on them: to upgrade engine acceleration you need to risk either dying because of low movement speed or because of not enough health/Bdamage), also as you mentioned it doesn't feel as smooth as diep and the graphics are somewhat less pleasant. Don't know what more to say but yea, that's that
ahh okk nicee but yh i think itr kinda makes sense i like rras more but yh i agree with ur arguments the mechanic is rly different nd u need team in this game much more than in diep coz everything is so fast so an overlord cant surrive long coz boosters r just tooo fast nd if they die they can just lvl up instantly agn nd stuff so yh i agree with u
I play it just because I hate leveling up in Diep.io... it’s so gaddamn slow... and yes, some tanks are ExTrEmElY oVeRpOwErEd (im not looking at you, ram booster -.-) but overall, its a good game. I do agree to your opinion about the bosses XD
I respect ur opinion due to everyone liking different games so ppl in chat don't tell him to play areas in a vid of him NOT wanting to play areas ok everyone gets different playstyles
sammmmmmmmmme with me i play arras.io sometimes to record but i would love to record diep.io if it had an ingame recorder. arras.io doesn't have the beauty of balance like diep does. it doesn't have the balanced movement either.
The attraction of arras.io for me is a) better graphics b) more tanks c) buffed battleships (it's painful just to WATCH someone try to make it as battleship in diep.io for me) and d) the bosses are actually fun to try and take on solo once you're level 45, a nice little challenge. But opportunistic enemies are universal. I mean, can't blame them, but I hate them all the same.
I'd say Arras feels more "Mechanical" and Diep is more "Narural" and I don't think it's a bad idea But it might Not be used properly BUT that's probably up to you also arras still kinda feels like an unfinished game that can still change and improve over time BUT diep now feels far more complete so THERE STILL MIGHT BE HOPE so who knows
I like arras.io as a programmer because I can make custom gamemodes, you can play custom servers and make a server of your own if you have knowledge of javascript. You can make AIs and customize them, like, you can program the AI to ram, but if it has low health, then it will run away. It's fun coding servers, but now I can hardly code servers because I don't have a PC (using for IDEs) and it's hard to type on mobile. GOD PLEASE REMOVE THE INSTANT LV45 I FRICKING HATE IT

Personally, the highest I ever got in diep.io is 400k, and in arras I achieved two legit 1ms, and as someone who is used to the mechanics, I can say it’s very easy compared to diep.io once you get used to it. Did a 900k run (rip 1 mill) as my first time playing in months.
i feel like arras is just a easy version of diep.io. its way jerkier, but i still like it. u have 2 get used to it but, its kinda better cuz anything that u die on gets points so u can get revenge on whatever kills u and its easy to get to 1mil cuz u spawn at lvl 45. i have a bunch of high scores in arras yet i havnt gotten to 1mil in diep.io. its basically a practice version of diep.io.
I guess the only good thing you don't get one shotted by destroyer. I play diep but trie arras more. Looks like they finally fixed the lagg in arras. Much better now.
yeah I kind of agree, but you are wrong with bosses, with the right build, the bosses/visitors are the easiest thing to kill, and arras is a fan made game of diep, not a copy of it, it has more players because arras actually has updates, overall, I feel like diep and arras has there ups and downs

The ONLY reason I play arras IO is bc I love diep IO too but since idk why I ALWAYS disconnect and for months I couldn’t play so I found arras IO to keep me entertained Bc it’s kinda like diep IO and since I miss diep IO I’d rather play arras than no diep IO like games at all 😔 but there is SO MUCH teaming most of the time, toxic players, spawn killers. I don’t really like it as much as I love diep IO

We can actually blame the diep developers for just keeping the updates passive and focus alot more onto the yellow ball game, idk what its called. But yeah the mechanics on arras is terrible, I prefer playing diep
I wish i could but im in mobile. I just like it because it has a way better tanks. Like the builder, constructor, streamliner trapper. Just do diep io cuz i also subbed.
