If my locs were larger I would free-form. But due to hair texture and size of my locs, interlocking is the way to go but I wait a long time between retightenings. You look great!
I love the look of your locs very beautiful ✌️✌️✌️✌️ I really don't like to retwist/retighten my locs often..I normally go 3 to 4month before I retwist it. I have challenge myself for 6month no retwisting for only once. And I love the fullness and thickness of it...I will be 2yrs in my loc journey on January, and I don't feel like retwisting.
First I would like to say you look absolutely stunning.. secondly thank you so much for the breakdown.. initially starting this set of locs did you use coils or two strands and since starting how many times did you retwist or did you just do it once or twice and let it go from there. I pretty much have the same reasoning behind wanting to semi freeform as well. I like the fuzzy look on the scalp I don't like that bald T twisted to the root look either.. you literally have some of the best looking locs that I've ever saw!!
Im going to try to do semi freeform . Ive been locking for 5 years. And i only got retiwsts because other people would say my hair looked bad. I dont think it looks bad without a retwist ... so not more doing what other people say i should do lol
Unfortunately, most oils can cause dryness and itchy scalp; along with attracting debris and buildup on the hair more than without it. Your locs are beautiful tho.
