OMGEEEE YOU GET IT!!! I've been saying this I would much rather build an organic business that sticks than a lead-built business that falls any day plus you rarely get chargebacks with the organic business you built versus buying leads!
They absolutely should be called MISLEADS! I was w a company that said they’d be small business leads actively searching for insurance for their employees. I never got a single one. All were piss poor. 4K of a lesson
Great advice Kenny! Cold calling is a waste of time. Has a former realtor I learned that fast. I hated staying in the office so I went out there and started talking to people and businesses you name it. It took me a couple years to build my clients organically, but the residuals (referrals) were awesome. Be patient and consistent.
Hello, Thank you for the video. I am just coming across your channel. I just passed my p and c State exam here in Georgia, and this is very helpful! I will be scheduling time with you soon, and I am looking forward to speaking with you.
Awesome content!!!!! I’ve never purchased leads but for the last 6 months, I've been contemplating on buying leads. I’ve heard good & bad about buying leads so I’m moving slow building my business using other avenues. Great video!
Wow! I’m studying for my health and life license right now. This was enlightening! Just from what I observed in my study material I came to the conclusion that I did not want to work for an agency - and this validated it! Thank you for creating this video/channel!
Ugh.. Im the top producer in my agency but I keep getting in trouble for not pounding the phone with the purchased leads. Most of my sales are cross sales and referrals.
I could not agree with you more. I feel like I was so successful in MLMS (sales) - and this is just a different kind of selling lol def not for everyone😅 I agree 100% with using the warm market! Thanks for sharing😃🎉
This is good! The best sales are the referrals that really are looking for agents. I don't do door-to-door. For one is not safe. I try to get referrals from my current client. But I am seeking other avenues. I was thinking about buying leads too. I am glad that I saw this video.
I am talking to The Pritchett Agency and Family First Life. I haven't signed with either of them yet but they both want me to purchase leads. I don't even know how to sell a policy
Selling a policy is the easiest part once you find a organization. Make sure if you are independent you get 100% commission. Esp if you buy leads. Please talk to Agents in those organizations & seek out as much truth as possible.
I found many of the agencies that require you to buy leads are requiring agents to buy them from the agency. That seems real shady and another way for them to make money.
Kenny, i passed my state exam in Michigan. I have sold preplanning insurance the past 4 years. I am undecided who to sell for. Could i set up time to talk with you? Thanks in advance
Hello, would it be a good idea to add selling insurance to an already established business? I’m already a business owner and I am newly licensed agent. My customers are middle to upper aged individuals.
@@KennyJTV livscan fingerprinting for background checks and I am a federal contractor for TSA. My business is an enrollment center for tsa precheck. The customers are literally right in front me to sell insurance to
Independent is the way to go. You can build your own empire without leads. I go networking a lot. Meet people. Build rapport. Sales will follow. Remember people do business with people they know, trust and like.
Hi Kenny Great video. I’m in Greensboro NC. I hv a P&C license as well as all the others. Can you share what FMO you used to get your carrier appointments?
Kenny, when you start a insurance business, do you need a separate bank account from your personal account, and error and omission insurance, and do your business have to operate from a brick and mortar building, and to you have to be a insurance broker, or be as your were or are an independent agent?
Okay understood. Do you recommend mentorship in order to start an agency? Im still lost on the systems and processes that i would have to follow in order to run a successful agency.
Hi Kenny! I just passed my life and health exam. I have been approached by MLM companies but I am not interested in buying leads or recruiting other agents in order to bring home substandard compensation. Do you have any advice regarding companies that I could potentially partner with to learn this business?
@@isradunia4070 I left that agency as their leads were old and garbage. They made money off of me by getting me to try to sell these leads then not pay me much when I did make a sale (25% rate). Buying your own leads from a reputable dealer. Take care.
