@@DeusRegum the revolver in some form has been used for well over 150 years reliably. The 1911 has now been in production for 112 years reliably. You just made a statement that a gun that has been on the civilian market for 35 years is the most reliable handgun of all time. What a stupid fucking comment.
I actually went back to my Glock 26 after trying to carry the P365. I just found I liked Glock better. Sig makes a good and accurate gun I just like Glock.
I'm waiting with baited breath for Chuke to put out another "changing EDC" video after the next super-duper wondergun comes out from [Name of Gun Manufacturer here].
I have both and love both i carry the 48 in the winter and 43x in the summer since I’m 5’9 and 150 soaking wet 😂 the 43x doesn’t print as much when I’m moving around but the 48 is perfect for hoodie season
P365 does not “go off in the holster” and the issues with the P320 have been long resolved. SIG makes a very reliable firearm. Trust my P365 as much as I would a Glock and SIG firearms are built better in my opinion.
Say it ain’t so Chuke! Raven Concealment is going to be coming out with their minimalist holster sometime this year. I never buy into the BS. I’ve had zero problems out of P365 pistols.
Yeah I have “gucci” p320 x compact that I don’t carry anymore. Went back to my g26. Can’t have that back in the mind thought of “if I shift or move wrong, I’m going to blow a hole through my groin.” I love that p320 though…shoots and handles amazingly…
Sig has had too many problems for me to even think about buying one. I carry appendix, sorry, won't ever purchase a Sig...I carry a 43X with OEM 10rd mag in holster and a Tyrant Designs +4 on OEM mag as back up. Not going to be able to beat that set up reliability wise...
@@S.0.G Yep, real life is like a Zombie game on hardmode right? Usually takes 12 or more hits to make them go down or change their mind about what they are doing huh?
@@joebauers3746 As simple as having 7 additional rounds to hit a target. Would you rather have 17 or 10 when your life depends on it? But of course you had to get defensive because you'd sound stupid saying you choose 10 rounds lol
@@S.0.G Stupid saying you choose 17, I got 22rd mags for my Glock 45. What happens when 365 meets Glock 45 with extended mags or 30rd mags??? We can go round and round... I chose a Glock 43X because it feels better in hand to me and I feel it is more reliable than a Sig 365.
@@joebauers3746 We can definitely go round and round. But this isn't a conversation about anything other than 43x vs p365. It's sad that Glock only offers a 10rd mag in the 43x. I agree it feels WAY better in hand. But still falls short due to sights, trigger and capacity against a P365. I mean are you really gonna argue otherwise? Don't be that guy lol
I had a Glock 43 then bought the Sig 365. After carrying, shooting the 365 I went back to my well used 43. Them a year or so later I bought the 43x MOS and several Shield Arms magazines. It’s 100% reliable. It’s been my daily carry since them.
I just got a holster in for my g19. I want to attempt carrying that instead of my 43x due to capacity. I can't convince myself to try the shield arms mags. It's great we have all the choices we do.
You need to really try them out to see if they work right. I bought 1, then the metal mag release from Shield Arms and then shot hundreds of rounds to see if it functions. Bought another one and see if THAT works. So far so good
That's why I don't want to do it. I have to shoot hundreds of rounds through a every SA mag just to see if it works since it isn't oem glock. That an expensive gamble when other guns like the hellcat pro do the same in oem form.
@@EpsteinNooseSolutions781 I guess I was more lucky than you. I got 2 mags. Gen 2 versions. Shot hundreds of rounds through both including hollow points to test feeding and different pressures. No problems. So sorry that you had such bad luck with yours. Return them and ask Shield Arms to fix them
I did the exact same thing - bought the 43X over the Sigs. I've got a couple of older Sigs, so I don't hate them, but I have seen too much of how the company handles problems (deny, court gag orders, redesigns without fixing older ones, or my favorite, getting rid of the line of pistols altogether). Nope. I trust my Glocks, have several, they work perfectly.
I love my 365x. It’s been nothing but reliable. No failures to fire or feed. Doesn’t care what I feed it, it eats it without complaint. That said, Glock is as reliable as you can get. It will serve you well
think the decision you made is very good and based on facts. The X macro is an incredible product but reliability is the most important thing. When the X macroi has 5 years of no issues (of those you mentioned) then I'd be willing to maybe change, but I can imagine glock will also come up with an improved 43x, or maybe (HOPEFULLY) a new product size between the 43x and 48 with a higher mag cap. (GLOCK IF YOU SEE THIS, 12-13 oem mag for 43x would be totally fine!!! ;))
Tough sentence on Sig. You trust them less than Shield Arms. Ok, going boom without input is probably worse than making click when it should go boom 😂. Plus I am sure you have plenty rounds through your shield mags with out issue
What goes flip flop flip flop.... Chuke does....😂😂... I have sigs and Glocks along with lots of others... Carry a sig 365 and the macro no issues same with the 320... I have a 320 that stays loaded and has never gone off on it's own.
After watching an FBI agent negligent discharge himself in the rear at a presentation about gun safety and handling. I realized humans were the greatest failure point. I gave up on relying only on trigger safeties. I always look for a secondary safety whenever I purchase. This usually also prevents any minor defects causing negligent discharges. I suspect your switching back to a glock more for content and because of long-term familiarity. I think manual safeties are underrated. Your choice does not surprise me. Even when other firearms are more accurate and easier to control you still look longingly your Glocks.
My X macro is missing a c clip from the rear of the frame from the factory, I bought the pistol brand new. I'm disappointed in Sig, they tried to have me pay for the replacement part, and they also said they have no replacement parts in stock. Gen 5 glocks for me
@Chuke's Outdoor Adventures So the x macro only has one rear c clip, gun was sent back to sig. they replaced the grip module. after I received the gun back, I also then got a back with parts in it from sig. anyhow for all the confusion, they are sending me a new mag. I put about 400-600 hundred rounds through it in two hours or so, after that range trip the slide to frame fit was really lose. I'm going to do another 400 round session and see if it happens again. if it does I'm going back to glock. it has one more shot at redemption.
The p320 and p365 have totally different striker safety design. The p365 slide internals look exactly like a Glock. The striker safety plunger looks just like the Glock. No p365 has ever been reported to fire by itself. It is not like the the p320.
You are correct. I was referencing the documented trigger issues that Tactical Considerations filmed of him pulling the trigger with nothing happening and then shaking the pistol and it goes off. That being said and it’s pretty rare and I am currently carrying a p365 AXG Legion and I love it!
I dont even want to like Glocks lol, all my guns are hammer fired but I just enjoy carrying the two I’ve got too much (Glock 30S in Alabama Holsters front pocket holster, Glock 40 in Vedder LightTuck IWB holster) and might get a 43X based on your commentary about them
Ouch. I ALMOST made this silly decision. My 365XL is almost identical in height as the 43X with the 17rd mag. 17 vs 10 with same concealability was a no brainer lol 43x trigger felt like absolute trash and those horrible plastic sights 🤦🏽♂️ the ONLY positive is that it did fit my hand perfect. Definitely more comfortable but no thanks I'll keep night sights, 17rds and better trigger
Measure the bottom of the trigger guard to the end of the magazine baseplate. You’ll find the sig is significantly longer and thus less concealable. The only concealability that matters is the grip length beyond the trigger guard, not the total height of the firearm.
@@thiccnick277 Even with that theory, it's wrong. Trigger guard to bottom of base plate is still in favor of P365XL. Even if you were right, P365XL is still an all around better handgun even if you factor in the aftermarket support for the 43X. And the fact that I can swap the XL frame for a standard 365 for even better concealability with the same capacity 🤷🏽♂️
I have shot the Sig Sauer P365XL. While I agree that it is a fine handgun, the Glock G48 fits my hand better, even though I had to add a Hogue slip-on grip for my hand size. The G48 is my grab 'n go firearm when I need a light carry firearm. The G48 is box-stock with the exception of night sights, is totally reliable, and is accurate enough for combat work at combat distances. I can't ask for much more than that, and there is not enough justification to invest in the Sig Sauer P365XL...and I do love my Sigs. I carry a M11-A1 at times.
@@ChukesOutdoorAdventures Thanks! I pot his channel and yours as my favorite two u-tube gun channels. you guys are very personable and down to earth. Thanks be to both of you for what y'all do.
I have no guess on this. Big C. Most of the folks on your pistol comments will never.... I will shut up. Kind of. Will say one thing. If you have a single shot .22 and brick of any cartridges. You and me and my traps and snares will eat/will eat/very well eat. CHUKE!!!
I still will not get how people still can not understand the P365 and the P320 are different firearms. Both a Glock and XMacro owner. No issues with either
I use all the stock Glock mags in my 43x 19 and 34 I don’t see changing a brand of mags for a extra 5. rounds from 11 to 16 I just carry a spare mag. Especially when I purchase at minimum of 6 mags per handgun. Thats $300+ for 6 shield arm mags. Plus the mag release. Just use that money and purchase a good training class or ammo. Then if you ever have to use it in self defense you better come up with a good reason why you switched out mags for so called “high capacity” mags. Cause we all know that’s what words they would use.
I bought a 365 thinking it would be great since I was a twenty year P220 carrier. Nah. That thing was garbage. It couldn't get through two mags of any ammo I tried without failing. It was really bad. Then with the 320 think I'm out.
C H U K E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go back to GLOCK!!!!!!!! I put metal night sights, a 3.5 connector, and Strike Magazines in/on my Glock 43/43X/48. It makes the Glock pistols the Best concealable pistols on the market for about the same price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P365 was too small for me, in so far as the front to back measurement of the grip. I would have to break firing grip farther than I'm comfortable doing to dump the mag. THEN the mag baseplate would still hang up on the heel of my palm. Not a fan. My go-to has been the Glock 48 or the M2 version of the Walther PPS. "Ewww! The Walther only holds 8 rounds!" I. Don't. Care. It conceals REALLY well and 8 rounds is better than a 5 shot .38 snubby.
my buddy just picked one up and 2nd box of ammo trigger locked up on the x macro 🤨 new canik mc9 for me my rival doesn't malfunction I see glocks malfunction all the time.
