@@blankslate7491 Maybe because they think they're still in the late '90s and early 2000s when Spongebob was still a good show when they started doing these horrible live-action shows years passed nobody was watching. So they came up with the idea and on February 13, 2009, it was launched but before 2009 people we just using these new devices called iPhones. so when people started typing they noticed they could use symbols that could be used instead of words so the symbol XD was invented. Disney wanted views and FAST so they started trying to act hip and cool using the term "XD." As I stated earlier about Disney making "horrible live-action shows" Disney wanted to do something different and as you can see there have been NO live-action shows which a lot of people liked sadly like youtube, they started getting out of touch using old memes rebooting/spin-offs they have drifted further and further away from what people viewed as cool in 2009 to just cringe in 2019 sometimes I think "what happened" but that's for another day thanks for reading.

Yes bro, yesterday i finished the shippuden series and first I thought that i was gonna be happy because I finished the 600 episodes, but now i feel kinda upset because naruto is kinda finished and many people say boruto is shit so shippuden was my last series of naruto because i hear that boruto isnt worth watching. What i never liked about Borutos character was because they tried to make him seem immature like Naruto which doesn't make sense to me. Naruto was immature because he didn't have parents, no guardians and lack of discipline also no guidance, Naruto doesn't really seem like his parents his father was like laid back and chill and his mother was kinda chill too but he's so different from them because he didn't have parents around to guide him. So with Boruto having parents you would think he would be more put together and not so immature, not to mention they made Boruto look identical to Naruto having no traits of his mother. I felt like Boruto isn't a character of his own, he's a carbon copy of Naruto and not his own person or individual.

I can understand kicking him out of the shinobi program for cheating in the Chuunin Exams. This is the first generation in which the villages are trying not to go genocidal on each other all the time. The Hokage's son cheating in something meant (by then) to bring the villages together when their parents still probably want to kill each other goes way beyond just cheating on a test. It endangers the peace entirely and risks any of those villages deciding to strike back violently over the perceived insult by the Hokage. It also makes Konoha look weak and that can very easily make the leaders of the other villages get a bad case of the old opportunism. Boruto's arrogant stupidity put the entire world at risk of reverting back to how it was in Naruto's time and probably in the form of a Fifth Shinobi World War. It may seem like I'm exaggerating, but the villages historically fucked each other over for a lot less than merely looking vulnerable to attack or seemingly betraying the trust of another village to insult them. It really is that serious. Thinking he could pull one over on the gathered Kage was also pretty damn stupid. I mean, so stupid that he would get himself killed in no time as a shinobi anyway.

Yes I agree. I know sasuke was "tired" at that point but surely he could've detected boruto jumping towards him,the nerf was inevitable but surely kishimoto/ikemoto could've done a better job at nerfing them (what I mean is sasuke could've been nerfed in a way that makes sense) idk man,boruto had lots of fillers(fillers that are not really interesting) at the start maybe Ikemoto kept on taking weed while writing Boruto. I won't keep my hopes up,but they need to do better.

@@obvv7714 The fact that some of your arguments for Boruto is "Oh, you didn't read the manga." is literally the worst way to say people's opinions are invalid because you are bias. I don't consider myself a super anime buff and don't hold some personal love for Naruto, but as a story boarder and writer Boruto from a story writing perspective was relatively close to being dropped immediately in comparison to Naruto's beginning and that is a fact. Saying, it got better after whatever amount of episodes or that it was better in the manga is an awful excuse to fuel denial since how is waiting over 60+ episodes for a show to "get better" even remotely a good argument. A good show is supposed to catch you from the early episodes and then if necessary slow down when fans are invested enough to tolerate some lesser writing. You aren't ever supposed to start a show as a z z and then expect people to wait for it to be less a z z. For 99% of TV shows the first impression of the story and characters is what is important, and that is true from every production standpoint of any series, anime or not. Boruto's saving grace was that it had a whole Naruto fanbase of millions to ride on that didn't fullly drop it immediately because of nostalgia for the OG, because any other show that had a start that most people have to say will get better after 60+ episodes would have been cancelled before it reached 30 episodes after the backlash lol. Oh and btw, yes I dislike Boruto, and no, again, it isn't because of Naruto bias. It is just a lesser show and a lesser manga than the original, that's final. Some people will like it more, but most can agree it isn't as good, even if they like it.
I admit that Boruto is a different anime, the fights and all that are just all child's play, is just the production quality and how the characters are build. They all want the kids growing like how we have seen since Naruto, but Naruto's story is way darker and more serious. the sound effects the background music, the tension between characters and problems they were facing. it was just authentic and full of expectations for me or us as fans to continue the following episodes. Remember the Chunin exam with Sasuke using new Chidori Fukin with Gara and Gara become the trouble, and all Sarutobi hokage fight with Orochimaru and the death Hokages? ohmygod that was lit AF look at all those animations are great and aerodinamic AF. Now Boruto and shit is just plain color fillin to the characters, and lazy development for the characters. These kids missions always feels like a schooltrip to have fun and communicate with other villains and potential threats, there is no danger feelin whatsoever, the kids are like geniuses learnin skill fast as hell, throw out a Rasengan and just shows that's the genes work and imma like broh you serious? Anyways, is just non stop talking about, I agree is a different anime but I am no feelin it even though I am still watchin. Not to say compare with Naruto, but I am doubting about the details and those lil things that we can correlate with the characters, now is just colors fillers, overhyped episodes that brings some nostalgic feelings back, but I think what ppl are always looking for is the authenticity of the anime itself, a reason to stick with Boruto because of Boruto, not because of Naruto.
Sarada need glasses because she got sick when she was kid also in boruto novel its stated that she know about sasuke his betrayel of konoha atack of 5 kages she didnt take good so she got sick as you see in gaiden manga thats why she awake her sharingan when she was litle kid because she know some tgings about sasuke not all

And the series finale would be minato thunder god on top of the hokage mountain staring down the nine tails as it charges a bijuu ball and moments before he fire it it cuts to black. Almost as if forcing you to rewatch naruto just see what happened now that I wouldve loved to see.

I hate how the kids are SUPER powerful for no reason like Himawari, she’s one of the worst characters, reminds me of Pan from DBZ. Also how the skills, personalities and designs are so similar to the parents (aside from Sarada) they’re all so boring. Boruto would make more sense and be much more interesting if the author had him be an overachiever in school to get his dad’s attention not a trouble making brat who fails in school like kid Naruto. And even then they make him do EXACTLY all the things Naruto did like painting the Hokage faces. SMH.
Where they fucked up is making naruto a legit god in his anime, and then severely downgrading him for this one because he was too strong and nobody would watch if they just offed him.

@@drawsection He was downgraded. Think about how goated Naruto was by the time he was 16, he was literally the strongest shinobi on the planet as a literal child after only a few years of training. At 19, he was even more goated, he was uber powerful in the movie where he goes to the moon, so was sasuke. Now. 15 or so years go by, and he is somehow either weaker or the same as he was at 16. He seemingly lost the ability to travel at light speed, rather than mastering it. He seemingly has to avoid spending time with his son because 'his identical clones cannot do paperwork' i guess. He has learned no new jutsu. He has mastered no new techniques. And he seems to be a fucking retard even though he was only stupid as a child due to inexperience. If naruto wasn't downgraded every conflict leading up to momoshiki would have been dealt with instantaneously, but that doesn't make for a good Boruto anime does it. He lost to momoshiki, while sasuke was helping him, realistically they should have clapped him. But naw. they fucking lost because the anime is called Boruto and Boruto needs a moment to himself. So in conclusion. Yes. Yes they did. They downgraded, then capped the growth, of Naruto. Because of Boruto. The end.

That's why I started watching it today... I've watched the whole Naruto 3 times in less than 10 months...was going to start again and decided to go for Boruto
Imagine if they made a series about previous generations instead?? trainings, dang my man, tobirama needs a lot of screen time.. or as others have said, Minato: Naruto Previous Generation.. him and all the jutsu he knows, kushina's life as a jinjuriki, hashirama's life, too!!! @DonutzDaGawd 6:58 I'll explain, so in Shippuden when Karin healed Sasake, Sasake absorbed some of Karin's Chakra and that Chakra was still in Sasake's body when Sakura was getting *CLAPED* by Sasake and that's also why Sarada looks somewhat like Karin and has glasses.
Obviously it's been a few months since you commented but I can't complain much about Boruto except the character nerfs, I did skip all the fillers though, it did start off slow but Naruto had shitty fillers and slow parts as well, I think it's doing well as a sequel to be honest, couldn't ask for much more. I would've preferred a new villain (not otsutsuki), but I like how it's playing out so far, especially where the anime ended off in the manga.
