After my husband passed away I sold the house we shared and bought another house close to my son and my grandchildren. After 2 years I wondered why did I do that? I don't have the desire to be a homeowner. I thought it would be good to leave something to my son and grandchildren. After 2 years I sold the second house and moved into 1 bedroom apartment and I've never been happier. I'm no contact with everyone from my past and again I've never been happier! I'm 55 and I make 60K a year. My advice to the younger folks is do something for work that you enjoy. Money is not everything. Save more than spend. Be reasonable with your purchases and don't buy expensive cars, and clothes its truly a waste of money. Put money in your 401K and just be happy. If you save money, you can travel and spend money on experiences rather than material things.

That's all it is a dream that will never come true for the chosen ones. This is not our home. I have accepted that.

I used to run behind money so bad until i had high blood pressure but now since i let everything go i feel better. I feel so much better now

In high school they had us an APUSH essay on if we believe the American dream is still achievable or not and I wrote no and my class thought I was so negative! That was 5 years ago

The most high blessed us all in different ways and different times. We should never compete at receiving when it's the most high giving us all of what we have placed in front of us. No way in hell I would ever be like someone else or THIER life. I'm most thankful for all that god blessed me with . He's kept me settled , patient and thankful for every thing I have in front of me if it's a plant to water 🤪, I'm most thankful

When I visited Italy in the 80's those Italians really open my eyes on how to live. They don't care about money the way Americans do. They live stress free lives and I felt more love being around them. They were so kind and people that I met on the street would invite me to there home for dinner just like that. Businesses would shut down at noon and resume around 3pm in the afternoon. Very relaxed way of life. I actually hated to come back to the U.S. I hope it's still like that over there.

You are absolutely right! I’ve found out recently that my American dream is to travel the world. I’ve already been to 8 states and meeting people outside of my environment has changed my life. I have certain people that hate on me for being able to do all this traveling. However they don’t realize I’m not chasing a lavish lifestyle or trying to keep up. I don’t own a single name brand clothing except my Nike / adidas shoes. I get my shirts at target and pants at old navy. Also I drive a 2018 Toyota Corolla fully paid for while everyone else trades their fully paid car for a new car & payments. I also live in an apartment that’s far from what they call luxury. I utilize my money to travel and if I’m not traveling I’ll let it build up. Some of us don’t give a damn about being rich. Thank you for mentioning that in your video. Peace and blessings everyone.

Adam and Eve didn't have to worry about paying any bills, no mortgage, no electric bill, no car payment, no water bill, no reporting to a job that they hated, and there was no worries about other people harming them in the Garden of Eden! There was no such thing as competing with anyone, or trying to impress anyone! There was no such thoughts of not being good enough or lacking in any way! There was no violence, no murder or hurting people in any way, it was only LOVE and PEACE, and JOY!🥰 What made the Garden of Eden a paradise for Adam and Eve was THE FACT that they loved and respected God, and they had a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with Him, trusting God with all of their hearts! Paradise for Adam and Eve ENDED as soon as they decided to LISTEN to EVIL LIES and started to ALL OF A SUDDEN think that maybe they knew what was best for them BETTER than God did! They had trusted God's love without questioning it, and the tree God said not to touch, they didn't touch it, even though they probably wasn't sure why they weren't supposed to touch it! They just TRUSTED God! Then when Adam and Eve was approached by the WICKED one, and he DECEIVED them and LIED to them, instead of Adam and Eve refusing to listen and continue to trust God, they DOUBTED God and went ahead and ate from the tree that God COMMANDED them not to eat from!
