My dad got laid off and did the same thing around the house, except the breakfast (thank goodness 😞😂) until he got another job. I’m fine with a guy not providing income if I see you’re trying and pulling your weight until then.
Man. My jobs have been so low level so I didn't deal with as much of that, but NO ONE knows what I'm doing. Do you know how weird it is to be someone trying to do something working around people who already decided this job is their life? When they know you have that mind state you are a target, even if you are doing exactly what everyone else on your level is.
Once your company puts you on a PIP, you're gone. Start looking for another job immediately. Your manager is not your friend. Don't trust anybody at work, but especially not someone who can fire you.
We had a lady that was printing stuff out for her church. The lady that stocks the printer started to to suspect someone was using up all the paper. No one had the heart to say it was the church lady. Because she was doing the lords work. 🤫

When they put you on that PIP with that impossible goal and you knew you were going to be fired in 90 days,you should have used that 90 days to look for a new job, not work harder for them. When employers want to fire you, they need a paper trail to justify the firing to HR so they use PIP. You might have still been able to sue for unjust firing because they gave you an impossible goal and that would have been easy to prove based on every elses numbers.
At day 29 of 30, I would have just not come in anymore. There was now way he was going to reach those numbers for business and home loans. even in a thriving period. I'd just be out.

Dealing with folks and sales jobs are stressful. I quite Comcast just because of the stress of sales. Folks would call in and be close to cussing me out about their bills and you want me to up sale and we're in the middle of a pandemic!!?? I refuse to work anything involving sales again lbvs

Getting fired was God's plan, it lit a fire under me. I would never have quit on my own. Getting fired was a blessing that set me up for the eventual plan. You don't know who you got til you lose something.
I left because I couldn’t stand the new branch manager. He was a crook and I couldn’t take it! It didn’t sit well with my spirit. He got fired shortly after I left for being a crook! 🤣 Lowdown Joker!

I can so relate to your employee story in the world of retail banking. It’s a predatory environment but if you’re a people person it makes your better. The customers are worth the journey. It’s who you have as management that makes your life miserable. Racism and cronyism is prevalent. If they want you out, you’re out! 🥂🥂I’m so glad that you have a career. The numbers at the end of the year have to be better then the previous year or they will hire part time workers while the two or three full timers are working like slaves....I have 30 years of retail banking experience, boy do I have stories to tell....they did you a favor Kevin...

BOA is a scam #petty but I don’t like them. Don’t like mortgage I swear when I see people takes out mortgages form BOA and those sky rate I smh ... I be wanting to tell go to Rocket Mortgage or quicken loans not. Wells Fargo either. Chase treats there customers so much better and have better rates
