All good Ry, We have been avid followers. We think u are the bomb🎉🎉. But we are biased.😅😅.We always recommend you. I really hope you get back in soon xx suits you living there.xx
I enjoy your videos, a very realistic look at life on koh Samui. I'm headed to Thailand for January and February, hoping to spend 2 weeks in Koh Samui. What part of the island do you reccomend staying on? So many great looking hotels
Depends what you are after tbh ... But I would usually say anywhere from maenam down to lamai (moving clockwise) is good. Stick more to the east unless you want a really quiet time.
Hi mate ,fingers crossed everything goes well for you and you get back in to Thailand with no drama 🤷♂️🤷♂️ look forward to more vlogs ,take care and enjoy your travels 👍🙏🤗
Thank you 😊 but if you watch to the end you will see I'm not going to the UK and should be back in Thailand shortly (fingers crossed!) ... Yeah I've lived there for almost 8 years, on and off, but visa issues remain a problem for me!
Hiya. I thought I left a comment yesterday. Doh,🤪. Bless ya, the ups and downs. So sorry to hear about you and Ann. I hope it all works out. Fingers crossed. Have a great week.
Ahhh no way, this sucks! Fingers crossed all goes smoothly and you're back to Thailand ASAP! Look forward to the next one, thoroughly enjoyed watching as always. (If you could get me a job so I can move out there that would be great, ta👌🏼😆)
This visa business can be a killer. I hope you mange to get back. There shouldn't be any reason on the visa front, surely. At your age it's easy to think you're missing out on something at home. I felt that when I was your age and I was living in Japan. When I finally got back in England, that's when the problems started. No depression, just a feeling of longing for Tokyo and my girlfriend back there. Japan was a great experience, and now I draw on my experiences there as a novelist. My first one was published by a Kent indie recently and is actually a psychosexual noir crime novel called 'Tokyo Noir: Neon Identity'. I am Nick John. You might like it. It might chear you up. You're right about needing to be doing things to keep your mind occupied. I'm sure that will help you. Post-Japan, I was teaching, so that helped me. But I still pined for the place. I've never been back, though. And I left 30 years ago on December 13. Good luck.
I think you are doing the right thing! I think the job market in UK/ Europe is quite good at the moment. What are you looking to do? I think you said you used to work in sales....probably tons of jobs in that in London. My friend was in recruitment and now he's doing that in Dubai. Unless I am confused ? watched the whole video and not sure if the plan is to move to London or just go there temporarily....
@@thethairishsun haha ok sorry I thought the London plan was because of the visa situation making staying in Koh Samui impossible. I was kind of watching whilst making a sausage sandwich for breakfast so maybe missed a bit 😂. Richmond Irish sausages 😎
Great vlog. Wish you all the best. Thai expat life is not as glamorous as most RU-vid videos. For ordinary people visa difficulty, job and business issue etc are very confronting. Maybe work in UK or Ireland for a decade and save up, you can still return to Thailand for retirement. Cost of living is so high nowadays, need find a decent income to sustain lifestyle.
