I randomly came across this video and want to express deep sympathy for you bro. Atlantic City honestly the lowest paid and lowest morale department in the state of New Jersey. Today’s climate honestly and sadly revolves around politics! I wish it did work out for you but something better probably has come your way! Unfortunately the way Nj DV law is written even a complaint that results in dismissal will eliminate any chance of anyone becoming a LEO. Happy tho you got to experience life as a LEO first hand. Prayers to you for all of your current and future endeavors! Much love from Bloomfield, NJ
That was a great chapter of my life but I’ve had alot of blessings since that experience bro. Thank you for the support I really appreciate it. Blessings back to u 🙏🏽💪🏽
Hey Nick, this just randomly came across my suggested videos! I’m sorry you had to go through all this. I hope you are doing well now. It’s been forever since I’ve seen you. Miss you, hope you’re doing well
You've learned the politics of the job, as well as a life lesson in dealing with people. Maintain a low profile and avoid drawing unwanted attention to yourself. Not everyone is your friend, and you must maintain a professional demeanor at all times while working. Don't incriminate yourself by providing extra information during an IA interrogation that isn't necessary. Any information is misconstrued, and you are aware that these people are attempting to advance their careers by making you a poster boy.
Hey Mark first of all your name is Mark 🐀 NOW WAIT WAIT YOU MEAN POLICE LIE hahahahaha DO YOU MEAN THAT POLICE WAKE UP WITH THE IDEA TO TAKE YOUR FREEDOM AWAY hahahahaa DO YOU MEAN THAT POLICEMAN ARE YOUR FRIEND ONLY FOR THEM TO BENEFIT THEMSELVES hahahahahaa DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE NO GOOD POLICE factssssssss
Dam bro been thinking of going to the academy but bc things like these idk if it’s worth it you’re right there’s far more worse shit the others do hope u doing good homie 💯
You admitted to a crime in an IA interview, I feel for you man but you put yourself in this situation. If you would have played it by the book from the jump and just reported all missing/stolen property you wouldn’t have been there to be honest. You really can’t blame them, you should be mad at the people that encouraged you not to follow policy, not the police department as a whole. I live in the city in Chelsea heights and I really do feel for you man, don’t take what I said as disrespect. Just my opinion from the outside looking in
I also want to add that I could see myself doing the same thing, not trying to ruffle any feathers of your higher ups even if it isn’t right. The people above you were telling you to break the rules and they are the ones to blame. I’m also recently laid off from my plumbing job so I can definitely relate. Hope life is good now man, wish you the best
Thank you for the feedback It’s appreciated. I do want to make clear tho the only “crime” I did to be in IA was break a cell phone (still a crime) but there were no charges at the time. 5 months went by from that day that I got called into IA. The cellphone that was brought up (not the original reason I was there) during IA belonged to me, it was never stolen/found… I have taken full accountability for my decisions but I will never be ok with a department (not just AC) allowing officers to work with DUIs, sexual/physical assault charges/allegations and getting rid ones who deserved it more. No disrespect at all thanks for taking the time out to watch. Good luck with everything too I’m sorry u gotta go through it
@@Nrivera9123 totally agree with you there, tons of police officers in our direct area that have been involved in far worse. Thanks man appreciate it, I’ll be good 🙏
Facts bro. I'm trying to get out rn and idk where the f to go cuz I can't do desk. Problem is I know too many bad guys soon regular jobs won't work. But yh this is where I've met some of the most shady people ever
While I was working I thought about all of them but they were in the back of my mind. Life was moving fast. It wasn’t until about 1.5-2 years after I resigned where it all hit me and I thought about everything
That’s a tough situation. I went through something similar with my job. They fired me for some BS. No facts, just a complaint. Just make sure they hold the people accountable after the smoke clears. Show them ya strengths
Pull your head out of your ass. Your saying a simple complaint cost you your job? Stop blaming others for your actions. There's maybe a lot more too the complaint than your telling.
I am sorry for you bro, you go railroaded by the dept. My Dept. was the good ole boys club. I left after seven years and opened my own business, and have been running it for 33 years and never looked back.
Moral of the story, don’t follow bad examples and always follow instructions. The sole reason all those cops got away with it is because they are PBA members and SLEO II are non-union and basically at will. That’s why all those shore towns get as many they can because they look at them as people who will do anything to try to follow their dreams. Stay strong bro. Those DV’s sadly will follow you everywhere regardless.
That and don’t tell your girl anything about your job lol jk yeah man you are right about that. Was a good chapter in my life now I’m just trying help the next man/woman. Life is good. Thank you for the support & feedback I appreciate
@@Nrivera9123 apply to northern departments they often more understanding to the matter. If your SLEO II PTC still active do it right away. Sheriffs are good at this
I moved on from LE man. After I resigned I took some time off, applied hoping I would get a chance and nothing. My cert is expired so I def am not going through another academy lol
I respect you and your character it takes a man to acknowledge wrong doing don’t mind thesepeople commenting talking mess about you at the end of the day you did the wrong things, but my eyes you did the right thing on your faults by telling us where you was wrong
I just found your channel it's interesting. I use to do security and then surveillance in the Trop. I wanted to go in law enforcement but because I started getting seizures it canned that for me.
@scratch-it-eddie that's a good story and at least the guy was able to use it. A lot of times people would take the money and leave everything else n dump the wallet in the trash or just leave it wherever.
Mistakes people made in the past is so u can realize none of them are worth it in the future your learning young man now you'll know for the rest of your life it's not worth it.
I think you should introduce yourself to The new chief. You seem like you had passion for your job at one time. You will be surprised the chances you may get. I call them blessings
This story crazy, I was a class 2 in Avalon, then I move out of Jersey to be a Washington, DC cop. It’s crazy DC actually gave us phones because they were paired to our body camera, we had to take pictures of evidence and upload it with our body camera footage. Anyway needless to say, I resigned from Being a cop after like 3 years, more because of the political and bs surrounding the police force, especially in DC. I know a bunch of guys in ACPD now.
In the process of becoming a state trooper, maybe it’s the state I’m in but you just seem like you were fed up with the job and your integrity seems a bit low as well fuckin around on your partner not taking lost and found property back to the station for evidence. Seems kinda good you resigned. I wish you the best seems like you’ve self analyzed and learned from your mistakes. Wish you the best
Come to Baltimore and try to get any job in law enforcement. If you only resigned, you might can get another job in law enforcement. In Baltimore - sheriff department, city police, mta transit police amd others.
@@Nrivera9123 salute 🫡 Atlantic County had the most job loss in the entire United States In 2021, wild right, I never thought it would get this bad though, employment wise. COVID was the knock out punch to AC overall IMHO it’s PD & FD are overworked & underpaid. Glad you left too…a lot of corruption up in there. Stay blessed brother ..can only go up from here. -1-
I'm in pleasantville and one thing I can say is our police actually hold a little respect in the community. Ac ain't too bad on that end but internally there's always some shit going on
This is crazy because yes, the police is a big gang. It’s who you know and not about anything else. I worked in several police departments and it’s all politics. I have been asked to lie and when I refused they screwed me over and made sure I could never get a job. It’s one of the worst things. I feel for you.
Wait so the phone was yours but u told ya girl u got it from work and when they asked u, u told them it wasnt yours but it was? U could of literally just changed that and told them u lied to ya girl but told them the truth u lied for nuffin bruh even if ya girl told them u got it from work u could of said she lying and that u got proof its yours by showing them a phone bill or something
Yup. Didn’t help my self, everything happened so fast and I got caught up. If I admitted to lying they would of fired me for that. It’s all lessons man thank you checking the vid and commenting
"I know guys that have done worse shit"... Thats the problem man even all this time later accountability is hard but I give you credit realizing your someone who should not have a badge and gun serving us. Thats the problem with police to many have an ego and think their actually good for the force.
I know this happened awhile ago but ur story is all over the place 😂😂. U were on probation, basically they could fire u for whatever reason. Always follow the rules, proper precautions & procedures, don’t listen to any other people because they’re not on probation. They will cover their a&&. Also, control ur anger, DV is very serious, employer’s take stuff like that very seriously. Praying ur doing great now. Ur very handsome, u could’ve been a male model😂😍👍🏽
All the officers on the boardwalk should hold everything till the end of the night and then when you get in the van take it all over there give it to some other officers that are working and tell them to put it in the missing call
When you said "Guys have done much worse"...... What if they asked you.. "Like who?"..... would you have started talking? Messed up you didnt do anything and loss your job. Your GFs mom was terrible for that also. Yup you are correct. Jobs don't care about anyone. Life lesson
I wouldn’t have said anything bc they already know who has done what so it wouldn’t do anything but cause me more problems. I was upset when said but it wasn’t my place to talk on things at that time
Tbh bro it seems like you were not mentally mature for the job at that time fuck what a-lot of people say that you disrespect the badge i just that that you were not ready at that tbh give it some time every agency regardless of location in the US see growth immaturity i got charged with assault and battery back in 2015 and now I’m trying to go in to corrections and then from there a deputy none of us are perfect agency don’t look for perfect but they do look for accountability and maturity i say try again because you do seam like you you want the job.
Nice story. But you played yourself bro, if you didn’t steal work related phone or at least throw it away then it’s wouldn’t have gotten this far. And the domestic issues was just topping on the cake to remove you from the police department. I assume when you said class 2 you was in a probationary period in the department, so that mean you had to be on your best behavior within that time. At least you resigned from that police department, and from cops I knew in my army days it would be easier to apply down south to be a cop. Either way good luck.
What work related phone ? Was a personal phone I paid for. I also was not on probation period during this time. Thanks for watching &ncommenting good luck to u too
When the story started with a female i face palmed. you should go be military police in the military . they wont care about internal affair as long as it's not on your record.
You know this already but this was dumb as fuck. I'm so mad you messed up your career over that. Brother that's a sign stop lying to the woman you love. If you didn't cheat none of this would've never happened. We gotta do better. Wish you nothing but the best.
Nobody should be mad if I’m not. U are right though & that’s part of life. Live and do better that’s all we can do. Appreciate the comment & good luck w everything as well
Just analyzing the video: 1. "But other guys have done way worse" is definitely giving snitch vibes. 2. Getting caught in a lie means your credibility is shot. 3. Crying in front of your superiors makes u look emotionally weak, which goes hand in hand with breaking yo girl phone. 4. Seems like u were young and straddling the fence between being a hood dude and a grown ass man. 5. Sounds like youve moved past it, but wish u couldve stayed. We live and learn
1) never told on anybody so no snitching there. They already know what goes on so I don’t need to tell it. . 2) they didn’t actually catch me in a lie. It was never a “ oh but I thought you said this soo now you have bad credibility”. I lied on my self. 3) emotionally weak is hilarious to say on social media. 4) far from a “hood” dude and never portray to be from there. 5) def moved on and I’m glad I didn’t stay… anyway you are right we live and learn and thanks for watching
I guess I misunderstood the video. I thought u told them that u got it from work. So are u saying that u lied like u stole it, even though u didnt? I'm not throwing shade, it really is an interesting story and a cautionary tale@@Nrivera9123
The wallet was not mine so I wrong there. The 2nd phone was mine. Correct, when they asked me about where I got the phone I was caught off guard and stuck to that lie for so long that I just said I found it at work when they asked me. Even if I admitted to the phone Being mine I was still wrong on the wallet so they had me there. It is what it is now lol appreciate the feed back 🙏🏾
Better you quit.. your energy is giving bad cop in long term. Why you even break her phone? Did you give her a new one? .. for her mom to have reported it. You had to have been shitty to her daughter a LOT.
You dont deserve to wear the badge. You admitted to stealing the wallet and breaking your girls phone. You know the law enough that abuse is breaking their phone. Your not a hero and your a snake for getting on here trying to shade everyone else cause they weedes you out.
Uhh so u took 30 mins of our day to admit to not following procedures and therefore you were terminated? You talk as if you feel it was a wrongful termination. Takeaways for you… stop lying to your girl, follow work protocols and procedures, and cut this video down to 5mins max.
You took 30 mins out of your own day lol Take away for you.. Be accountable for your own decisions nobody forced you to watch anything. Thanks for supporting my channel though stay blessed
It be people like you the main one being a hypocite always judging someone but you probably has the worst sins his point was there people in the department that are doing worse things than him but they don't get disciplined they always trying to make an example out of the cops of color for the smallest things and let the pale neander thug cops get away with murder that's the point or are you to simple minded to understand
Comprehension is a very important skill. If u listened and paid attention the cell phone belonged to me. 2 phones under my name. I lied to my partner about where I got the phone. So do the right thing and pay attention a bit more. Thank u for the listen !
Thank you sir I hope you life got better but for my kids before they think of becoming a cop I play this video for them I hope you have a great prosperous life ..single life is the best life I'm living I'm 55 years old and I'm filthy f****** rich with out them hose
