I'm a fan of sakura. But I personally think that I agree with you. The writer shouldn't have treated all female ninjas equally. The writer shouldn't have you know proof what woman really is, instead of just letting all the male characters to protect them or sacrifice their lives just to protect a ninja which is a female that could be strong. It was pretty evident in Gaiden that She and Sasuke never kissed. Sasuke only married her to save her dignity. They don't have any wedding photos or anything, even naruto doubted their marriage. Proves she only married her on paper. Sasuke was extremely uncomfortable around her. She doesn't even want to touch her.

I like her honestly but there are things i never understood I feel like her background was for nothing. She was bullied just for her to become one herself towards naruto (not anymore/all the time) Also something i wished they gave her was some uniqueness with her abilities Ik she’s tsunade’s student and that shems supposed to inherit her abilities but i mean...maybe they could’ve given her a different fighting style or unique jutsu for her?? This isn’t a reason to hate her but I didn’t understand why they made her tsunade’s carbon copy when it came to abilities. While I’m not a full on Sakura-hater, I can see and understand the reason behind hating her. She’s a simp for Sasuke, she beats up Naruto for little to no reason, she claims she’s caught up to Naruto and Sasuke despite being out of their league by a large margin, and just so much more. She has gotten stronger with the training from Tsunade in medical jutsu and strength but I just feel that she’s uses it to make Naruto her own personal punching bag. She has had moments where she impressed us like fighting Sasaori alongside Lady Chiho but other than that and helping out in Ninja War, she doesn’t do anything special. I swear that “punching main character” gag is something I just don’t find funny. It happens in every other anime. Fairy Tail, One Piece, Dragon Ball. Why can’t they just do on where they get hit the main character but the main character don’t feel any pain. People like Oda can excuse Nami punching Liffy as a way to “bring them back down to earth” (or something like that) all he wants. It’s the same running gag and I just find it more annoying than funny. Sakura had potential but because of her constantly punching Naruto, her simping over Sasuke, her lack of a character arc, any kind of development, she just doesn’t the pique the interest of anime fans

Sakura made Naruto feel happy that his parents are dead and endure it while she came crawling back to her parents like a bitch and refused to learn 2 lessons that film: 1 (Let someone get what's on their chest off it; Naruto just missed his parents and got a second chance of being with his parents long enough to be able to learn what to do and what not to do as a parent and because it was so swiftly taken away he became a shitty parent despite Sasuke's own leaving his own daughter, Sarada) and 2 (Learn to trust that even if he is lost as a hope to trust others to save the day because he's enduring all the pain and other evils by himself and stupidly wines to Sasuke about with out realizing he's doing that to himself and Sasuke bought that bullshit. If Sasuke saw what Naruto was handling by himself, prior to The Last's events, he would yell at Naruto for doing the same thing with Karui's hatred, Sakura's bratty behavior, and a Hinata whose is technically changing for the worst (by fitting in as Kishimoto's meaning of a normal girl; bratty and gossipy to the face and others' faces and secretly supportive from true privacy.) My lesson for Hinata to re-learn is "when you love the opposite sex, then tell the nice things to their (Naruto's) face and do it and apologize for it (and don't let someone or something tell it for you; along with your regrets/etc that's on your guilty mind) because if you only tell him the bad things to his and he's supposed have a Stockholm Syndrome Fetish for it, then he'll only think he's a bad person and change for the better (and I mean worse in my truth which is the real truth of life) and he'll live with it for the rest of his life until he dies thinking he "redeemed" himself while the main branch Hyuga brat girl has a clear head about it on an undeserved pampered level and live (while the wrong person dies; Naruto). She doesn't and gets to be a Karen to him and his son without looking long into the darkness and seeing what she needs to redeem and apologize for and tell Naruto what she feels guilty for and asks him to get angry with her and hated (and resent her) for all she's put him through and she's a bitch for not being the o' so goody-goody everyone thought her to be.

(Slight ramble incoming, also during this I'm talking about og Naruto, not Shippuden, I haven't seen Shipudden yet but I still despise her) Maybe this is a bit dramatic, but Sakura really dragged down my experience with the show. It's like she hates Naruto for even existing, I felt especially bad in the earlier episodes of Naruto when everyone badmouthed and shunned him. She makes almost, if not every decision specifically for Sasuke, if he didn't exist, she'd have nothing. No motive, no goal or drive. Absolutely nothing. I wouldn't care as much about it if she didn't do this *all the time* . It's either her rivalry with Ino, unjust hatred towards Naruto, or fawning over Sasuke. That's all she has, take Sasuke away and her entire "character" falls apart. She's badly written, I wish she was better, her personality is "I hate Naruto and I love Sasuke". That's not a personality, that's a trait. Even those you can say that about don't shove it down our throats. She's one-note and that's all there is to it. Sorry for the tangent, it's just that there's a lot wrong with her character. Sasuke hit the nail on the head when he called her annoying.
