Foreigners already are talking some time about other foreigners exploiting Filipinos and deceiving foreign sponsors. They call it e-begging and Pinoy baiting. Pinoy baiting is a more subtle way of exploitation, it addresses the minority complex and colonial mentality of gullible Pinoy. The Juicy Vlog is an example.

How about Mark Nowhereman, he's Filipino by birth but is American citizen, but his videos are definitely poverty porn and they are almost all based in the Philippines. He's a bit different to the rest in that he spouts his political views about the government in his videos and advocates socialism and is a big admirer of Che Guervarra and Fidel Castro

I would agree with your conclusions about poverty porn. The Syrian Wanderer does seem to have become a Naturalized Filipino Citizen back in 2019. So land ownership would be allowed.

One question, like if i give someone food just to give food to share what i have and not asking them to pass something or to do something but i recorded them is that also Poor/poverty porn/exploitation? Like i go somewhere in the villages or provinces and look for farmers who are in the middle of very hot day and give them food and something to drinks, but i also video the act and uploaded it on youtube, was that also a poverty porn?

If a Filipino man moved to the U.S. and start showing the white women in bad taste, I am sure that Filipino would be kicked out of the country. I totally agreed 2ith this content! I might have been praising Syrian wanderer for helping people, but i clearly got the point now! That helper of her applied for a household job and to be paid for her household services, she didn't not apply that job to be part of Syrian's vlog. But Syrian normalized it that when you work for him, you'll be exposed in his vlog whether you like it or not. .. it's degrading to these employee that got no choice but to accept the fact that the boss is a blogger and anytime he will exposed them just to have a content. .. Regardless if he had and have been helping poor people or what not, it's still not sincere when you had to use them first before helping them in anyway. .. at the end 9f the day, the help he gave to those poor people will only last a week, month or two. And those poor scavenger as he called will be back to zero and he's not there to continuously help them to stability. But he still earns a lotta money out of that old videos many folds than what he actually spent for helping the needy. .. The intention of helping is there, but why do it off cam and not to expose people's faces to earn money for the "helping". .. I hope fellow Filipino realized this, i hope y'all to be open minded and see the truth about poverty porn. ..

Not all foreign vloggers there are good and gentlemen vloggers they help and did for charity support Filipino artist. They only react Filipino good singers if it's requested only by the fans.

He is a filipino citizen check your facts. And this happens in the US too. Why dont you watch all his videos before you start criticizing who he is. His methods might not meet YOUR approval but it's a hell of a lot better than getting riped off or scammed by people that think they know better and anyone else. 9 out of 10 times money in your pocket is better than no money.

I wish though that you would have also featured Filipinos and not just foreigners who use poverty porn to be balance on your reporting. Raffy Tulfo in Action channel does the same thing (imho) as well as other major local news such as GMA and ABS-CBN. Are Archie Hilario-Pobreng Vlogger and Pugong byahero considered Poverty Porn? It's nice though that you featured those foreign channels that are genuine. I'm sorry to say but your average Filipinos get their facts on Social media such as FB, RU-vid and others. Majority lack common sense and critical thinking and this is why they are easily swayed or madaling maloko at maniwala.
