@@chichiboki6563 yeah they are the chain is what gets the rotationnal travel from the pedal to the wheel which makes the wheel spin and the transmission is what transfers the travel created by the engine to the driveshaft and to the axels which spins the wheels and makes the car move
@@chichiboki6563 transmission connects the engine (pedals) to the wheels (rear wheel)... It's a perfect metaphor. The chain is literally the transmission for a bicycle.
I stopped doing my taxes and it’s been much more reliving because I now live in a place that is covered in metal bars and have a lot of neighbors. It’s been life changing.
I rode chainless for a few months because the threads on my sprocket bolt stripped out and I was piss poor and couldn’t afford replacement cranks. This was before freecoasters became popular so I was excited to try fakie tricks. Chainless was really fun era in my riding. Shout out to def Paul for the inspiration.
I realized that tires were too expensive for my truck. Now I just roll with the wheels. It looks pretty cool with all the sparks and now I don't have to worry about the rubber wearing out.
@@erhweras5067 "rims" are actually just one part of the wheel. It is the outer edge of the wheel which holds the tire. It is the outer circular design and surrounds the decorative area of the wheel's hub and spokes.

With bunny hop 540s, crouch low then explode while throwing your head and shoulders. It’s all one movement. You weren’t crouching very low so your hop wasn’t explosive, but your spin technique was great! I struggled with that trick for years and blew out two wheels learning it.

The no chain thing is a great deterrent from thieves but I’m a guy who likes to ride around the streets so I go on long distance rides. I couldn’t see myself pushing along all that way. But more power to you if it works for you.
Trevor Meyer did this in the 90s and won a few X games with it. He did it one year with pegs instead of pedals and people kept saying he was riding a scooter. (Well before scooters were actually such a thing)

Exactly the same reason i removed my roof, i had a lamp that simply wouldn’t fit and instead of shortening the lamp i took my whole roof off, it lets in more fresh air and is naturally more nice! My lamp successfully fits now…
I was terrible chainless. I’d be doing fine and pumping for speed and all and forget not to pedal. Trust me that shit sucks, you get the same feeling as missing a step on a stairwell but with actual consequences right afterwords

The story is actually really interesting because you’re not using your bike for travelling you’re using your bike tricks and use it as a BMX bike, but it cannot generate its own momentum. Basically completely challenged the concept of a bike I like that
I removed the outlet plugs from my walls. Having the exposed wires and open circuitry allows for far better electroconductivity throughout my house. I no longer need to plug cords into the wall, I just inch them closer and closer to the exposed wires until I see a spark of electricity jump to the cord. It's amazing! I'm so glad I saw this video and- hold on, I think I smell something burning... my mom must be making some food, brb! 😀😁😋
Honestly that's how I have my well pump set up, I turn it on and off in my breaker box and I just twist the pump and wall wires directly. That way I can just grab my pump and quickly wire it in wherever it's needed

My bike has a frictionless reverse pedal, doesn’t put power so just glides freely. One day I was going to full speed and decided to kick the pedal backwards, felt that for a few days
I took my trucks off my skateboard. Now it has no wheels either, because those were attached to the trucks. So now it’s just a deck that I try to push around on, scraping on the ground. But it’s much lighter now, so that’s good.
