I am a teacher. I have been a director of a preschool too. Let me tell you, there are some BAD teachers out there and also some really bad schools out there! You HAVE to be aware just like you were and when you see what you saw pull them out!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!! You can tell all the signs, you did, and you acted on it. Great job! It will happen again. And you wont always be able to take your child out so you will have to be vocal in ways that don’t embarrass A. The kids NEED parents like you (who are involved) to speak up. Shame on those teachers for being in that position and yelling at the kids and not watching them properly. Very sad.

Teacher here. This is how field trips are supposed to work: Parent chaperones arrive 15 minutes before the students. They get first aid kits, a map of the venue, a schedule of events and bathroom breaks, a list of students in their chaperone group, and we exchange cell phone numbers. (I usually also give them a heads-up that the bus ride might make them carsick and give them baggies in case a student in their group gets carsick.) Then the students arrive, I introduce the chaperones and divide them into their groups. Chaperones collect their students' lunch bags and water bottles, then we all go on the bus together. Once we get to the venue, the people who work for the organization meet us and lead us to our first location and explain the activity. Throughout the trip, chaperones count heads and make sure everyone's having fun. Bathroom breaks as scheduled. Lunch at the picnic area. Last bathroom break, then chaperones lead their groups back on the bus. Once on the bus, I count heads at least two more times before we head back. Then we say goodbye and thank you to the parents and we head inside for a read aloud before dismissal as usual.

It really is ridiculous the school you paid for was so bad. Just goes to show paying more doesn't always mean better. You are an AMAZING mom to recognize something was off about Ayla. She's an EXTREMELY intelligent little girl and enjoys learning so I'm very happy you switched schools. Don't ever second guess when it comes to babies. Noone knows them like mama 😉

When I was in third grade I had a teacher who was so awful. She would pull kids out by their ears, degrade us, and she wrote me up for going to the bathroom after I asked her and got her permission. I can home daily in tears and told my mom I didn’t want to live anymore nor go to school. My mom had reported her many of times before. After a month of the school year my mom was fed up. She went and immediately talked to the principle. My teacher told my mom I was her favorite student and I was very well behaved. My mom said “well if your favorite student doesn’t want to live anymore, how do you think your worst student feels?” She retired IMMEDIATELY after the meeting. Stand up for your babies!

As an early childhood education major this makes me so sad! Unfortunately there are people who teach who are just looking for a job but there is hope. So many of my peers are passionate about working with children and truly want to provide them with the best. So hopefully I can explain this well. We're from MN and I was told here that the teachers that charge a whole bunch are trained teachers who have not attended college. The schools that are free or way cheaper are the ones that can not charge expensive prices. Makes no sense! However I have had similar experiences with inexperienced teachers that way! Maybe that was the problem? Though so much goes into it all! People like that shouldn't be working with kiddos! Hugs to you mama. Having to go through that! You are such an uplifting person! Love your videos+

You are right to have pulled your little girl out of that school. The SCAREY part is knowing that the other girls don’t have anyone watching out for them like your girls. Not to say that their parent are caring for them just that they probably don’t know what is happening … like when they are running around close to the parking lot while the 2teachers are on their phones. Sooo dangerous inattentive and have no. Is Imes’s being with small children. Your a great momma… always listen to your mother’s instinct. It’s always right.

Mama knew something was wrong. Watching kids get abused in schools is scary and why I am now for cameras in school. I used to work with infants through 2s and 3s and was against it cuz parents can be well... overprotective we'll say. But now, huhhhm. Glad she got into a good place. She is a sweet little girl.

That’s why I homeschool. My son’s ( 7 years old ) teacher wouldn’t allow him to drink from the moment he entered school until the end ( 3:00 pm .) According to her he was using the bathroom too many times. She wanted to hold him back since she claimed that he wasn’t performing on grade level. Four months after I pulled him out and started to homeschool he was tested through his old brick school and tested on 4th grade level ( both in math and reading.) His teacher took all his confidence, was rude and mean to him. Now my child regained his confidence and happiness. He was deadly afraid of having to go back to his school. Therefore I decided to quit my job and continue to homeschool. Our school district is on the top 5 of our state but our experience was unfortunately much different.

OK I am a formal daycare/preschool teacher. Former because I was diagnosed with terminal cancer six years ago. And no that teachers are not doing their job because it either being lazy or just not giving two craps about what they're doing, just breaks my heart. And a 14-year-old child being left in charge of a group of 45 and six dogs because the actual teacher is too lazy to do a job, pisses me off. I don't know about other states but in do you say you're allowed to be in a preschool setting or school setting of sorts if you're 14 and have working papers. But you were literally just assistant to the teacher, you're not in charge unless the teachers right there watching you. So it sounds like this little 14-year-old who is at her wits end because she was dealing with all of these little kids on her own even though the person that was supposed to be the one in charge was there, she wasn't there. She was on her phone and doing things that she should not have been doing while at this huge facility with all these little kids that she was in charge with. She left a 14-year-old to be in charge of all these little kids. And therefore put a lot of stress on this 14-year-old who is a child herself, and made her look bad in front of all these parents. And yes I know that a 14-year-old should know better than to yell at the children. But I am going to stick up for the 14-year-old because she's a child herself , But she was left in charge of a group of what 10 children or so. And not many 14-year-olds have the strength to deal with more than two children let alone 10. So though this child was yelling at your child or other children, parents should really look at it from this 14-year-old's point of you as well. If in fact the child was 14 and it wasn't an adult, you did find out she was 14 and was being left in charge of these children even though the teacher was there too. The teacher was in the wrong. If the teacher was just letting the 14-year-old be in charge, that's not OK. I'm very sorry that you went through what you went through when you were on that field trip. And I'm very sorry that your daughter had a horrible time at that summer school. I'm very happy that she's having a good time at the other school. I do miss teaching so much. My boss was kind enough to leave my spot open for up to two years. But after about a year and a half we knew that there was just no way medically that I'd be OK to come back. I couldn't even lift over 10 pounds. And in the daycare business you have to be a lift At least 10 pounds because you're picking up children anyway I wish her the best of luck. And good job on you for being a wonderful mama bear

On top of that, you were in a good apartment then you thought switching to an in-law house would be better not knowing they were using you for rides for work. After they got their shit straight they go tell male friends they molested your daughter. Which wasn't true, fuck the bathroom.

@@rorololll751 Why is she blasting these teachers on RU-vid? I’m all for using this platform for warning people of a potential danger to children (that’s what I thought this was when I clicked) but this is a form of gossip and throwing stones. For anyone who has an adult child entering the workforce or has even struggled at a job themselves… we should have compassion for people struggling at work. I get it, I’d probably have the same thoughts and feelings as she does but I’d hope I’d never fall into this self righteous, self centered behavior and blast them on RU-vid. She did it because she knows those teachers will see it and feel even worse. I’d have pulled my child out too, and maybe even talk to the administrators but gossiping with other parents at the school and then this video, I say that’s too far.

Any field trip I went on I don’t care if I was in preschool or high school or college from the beginning we would at least get in the group so they would let us know OK this is what we’re gonna do here is your hand out follow along to the speaker who is speaking we’re going to do the demonstrations and they would like tell you OK there’s a time where you can ask questions or they would ask if anyone had any questions but there was like a designated time for everything we did like a schedule not just walking through the museum without really knowing anything other than just listen or walk through the buildings. That’s really weird and very on organized it seemed. Honestly it looks like they just wanted them inside for certain mount of time or to cover the entire school day I know there’s curriculums certain schools have to complete three field trips in a year or three educational trips and they’re just checking boxes off. But the teacher should’ve at least gone through stuff at the beginning with them and obviously told them OK guys we’re gonna meet up at this time to have lunch especially if parents were there to shop rune I mean I loved when my mom chaperoned my field trips. And she tried to chaperone every single one because it was more time I got to spend with her otherwise she would be at work and I would be at an afterschool program. I looked forward to those times and if there was a field trip that was unorganized or it didn’t go the way it should have my mom would’ve definitely Spoken up like you did. That’s really sad that you had to pull her out but that shows if she had three teachers in one month that’s sketchy right there

This is why I want to be a teacher. Every kid deserves the attention and care they need. And a good teacher knows it's not the same for every child.

$800 for Summer school. That's ridiculous. The field trip was a horrible experience. Field trips r supposed to b organized. My kids & grandchildren had wonderful field trips. I'd report the teachers on their treatment of the kids & how bad it was organized

I had a teacher in my 5th grade that actually got fired because of her behavior. I’m not gonna say her name but the first day of school I had this weird feeling about her she acted almost to nice, so it was study hall time and I was working with my friend we were talking quietly and my teacher gets in my face and says “ is there something u would like to share with the class” and I said “ ummm no why? “ and she goes to sit in the hall and yelled at me. A few day before that my friend went home crying because r teacher said my friend could not get a new desk and my friend was really tall and her legs were red and they hurt and she would cry. She went home and told her mom and I complained to my mom how my teacher always yelled and slammed the door when she was mad and it honestly scared me. So my teacher walks out into the hall get in my face yelling at me and says “ do u really have to go home and tell your mother about me, u don’t need to share everything that happens at school” and she waited for me to talk and I said “ my mom has never met u and she trusts her little girl to be left with u for 8 hours a day so yes I do go home and tell my mother about my day and about u “ she gets so mad and she tells me to go to the principals office, I have never been in trouble or gone to the principals office in my entire life so I was freaking out and hyperventilating. I get to the principals office and started sharing what happened and is balling my principal comforts me and says “ hey it’s ok to cry I will have a talk with her and your class ok” and 5is helped me so much and I thank her a lot. So a few weeks pass and my teacher is blasting music threw the hallways while other classes r learning ( she always tells us to shutup and cusses in class almost everyday) so the principal gets on to her and she talks back, a little while later the principal calls her to her office and tells her she’s fired and we had a substitute for the rest of the year! 😂

I forgot to add that when she got mad she would make her eyes go really big and have a ear to ear smile and talked in a doll voice it scared all of us and after she got fired the principal texted every parent and said I’m so sorry for what ur child had to go through and if anything else that there teacher told them not to share at home pls encourage them to tell u she would literally tell us not to go home and tell r parents about r day. I still have nightmares about her and I’m going into 6th grade

Sadly when they get to regular school there are quite a few not so nice teachers and you can’t always switch classes or schools every time. Complaints only go so far. One of my sons teachers actually made me cry. She was a former marine, old and bitter I guess but just be prepared or home school. Much love!

I am a soon-to-be teacher and this just disgusts me. These women should not be in this profession. Being a teacher is hard work and if you don't want to put in the effort and take responsibility for children then you should find a new job.

Have to wear a mask while playing in a ball pit... they are second to a subways in the nasty chart. Sidenote...I work at a school... teachers really are that Loud, screaming, yelling...sounds more like a bar than an elementary school. Ugh

I also work at a school. That is not the case where I work. Can't judge every teacher by some bad ones.

I go to a public school and I have only had one mean teacher on 5th grade I am not going to say her name but she was just slightly unfair not like what you describe there are good schools and bad schools and good teachers and bad teachers so you can’t judge all teachers and all schools just by your own bad experiences
