I lived in the United Kingdom for 4 years, where I moved between several cities, from the wonderful cities that I really loved are (Derby, Liverpool) The purpose of my travel was to study, I graduated from the Birmingham City University, currently I live in my country Saudi Arabia and every day I wish to return to the United Kingdom because I really loved everything in the UK, their atmosphere, people, and lifestyle. The only reason why I couldn't move to the UK is I can't afford the moving with a family consist of me and my wife and two little naughty kids :). Thank for sharing this great video. Hussain Xoxo

I worked with a girl from Australia who came over to England to live and work. She was a great girl and I fell in love with her accent but the funniest thing was when it snowed when we were working inside a factory, she left her position and ran outside to see also to feel the snow. I went out to see if she was alright but she was having the time of her life, she told me that she never saw snow in her life except in films, books and Christmas cards. She told were she came from in Australia it was very hot and very occasionally they had rain but it was mainly hot and sunny. Not me Lauren as an adult but when I was a kid I loved it. My favourite weather is wind and rain especially when you are warm and cosy looking out at it. Funny the Aussies and Kiwis pay no Tax VAT, use the NHS break the cnditions of thier work permit but if an Indian person comes to work in the NHS the British revolt! It may be a concern to you that out of the 28 Kiwis most of them were from India heritage but because thier accent and you think they are the illigtimate children of the Brits. When I told people this there view of our white illigitmate children was an illusion they quickly wrote tot hre Home ffice at that time a womena Mc Clusky and demanded action must be taken. It seems we like immigration if they are white!

@@binagarten4667 I don't know how many British people you have spoken to but I for one do not "revolt" at the idea of anyone who is capable working in the NHS and I think you'll find nor do the majority of us British public. You seem to me like one of those people who hears things and because of the way the media builds things up believes it to be the majority. I bet every time you hear about a football riot you believe all football supporters to be drunken hooligans who only seem to care about themselves which simply isn't true. I personally have only complained once about someone in the NHS and that was when I I recieved a phone call from a chap who clearly couldn't speak English and admitted to me several times on the phone that his English was poor. Does that mean I have a problem with his race? No! Does that mean I think he shouldn't be working in the NHS? No! However, I do feel it's slightly unfair on both the patients on the phone and on him to be in charge of telephone conversation when he struggles with his English. We don't complain about someone because of their race we complain about them beaches they seem incapable of doing their job and if you paid close enough attention you'd realise that white British people who are incapable of doing the job get just as much blame because I'm sure you know as well as I do that there are plenty of them

Hey! Really insightful video, ive been looking into moving from the UK near London to Perth and one of the things i'd really been thinking about was the distance to everywhere, like you say in the UK were so close to the rest of Europe and even in the UK theres so much to explore without traveling more than a few hours. Its really given me a lot to think on so thankyou for sharing its really helpfull to see it from the other way around.

I can understand everyone of your points. I have lived in spain for 19 years now. I left england when I was 4 and I have found spain to be very boring. Not much to do especially around the coast as it is just beaches and restaurants, everything else is just residential areas. The heat is to much here! It literally drains all the energy out of you especially when you're working in it! Also job security in Spain isnt great and many people here get paid cash in hand which is good but bad as well. Also things like apprenticeships and colleges arent a thing over here so finding work that isnt in the hospitality industry is difficult. Getting around spain isnt easy like the UK, trains and buses arent as useful here. I'm planning on moving back to the UK next year when I've saved enough money and I cant wait. Just so much more to do and see!

I heard that Perth is the most remote city in the world. I live in southern NSW. Perth is so far away that I didn't visit it for the first time until I was 48 years old! But it's a beautiful city to those seeing it for the first time. I've also been to Great Britain. It was great being in the land of my ancestors and discovering the history. But I found it to be a drab, cold and depressing place to be for any longer than a holiday period. The medieval buildings, which were everywhere, gave it a rather creepy feel. You just never saw anything modern. It's also overcrowded. I know that if I lived there, I'd miss the open space, sunshine and laid back nature of Australia and become depressed. I loved the people. It felt like a part of my history........but it didn't feel like home.....if that makes sense. But hey, if you love it........good on you! Enjoy😃🌞

The point about the weather is so true, but also it’s difficult to enjoy your free time if it’s grey/raining a lot. You obviously can still go out and enjoy the outdoors and have that lifestyle, but who genuinely wants to go out for a hike when it’s coming down sideways? I think a lot of Brits get tired of working hard all week and then being trapped indoors at the weekend because it’s p*ssing it down haha (I’m from Manchester, I know what that’s like). I travelled in WA for a year and spent time in Freo, Kalgoorlie, Broome, Espy etc and it is a great place. I’d go back at the drop of a hat! It is definitely quiet though, there’s nothing comparable to say 42’s in MCR or even the craft bars like in the NQ. I think it’s interesting hearing you talk about life in Britain, but part of me can’t help but think that you have a more positive outlook on life here because you can leave whenever you want. Most of us poor Poms are bloody stuck here with our shit weather and warm beer 😂😂

I had an impression of what Australia would be like before I went and it turned out to be very wrong. I missed short flights to other countries, different cultures and languages on your doorstep basically. Of course it doesn't mean I'm depressed or anything; just feel relaxed and happy whenever it's raining or cloudy. If his dad was born in England then your bf will be able to get a British passport. I got a 5 years ancestry visa because my grandma was born there but you can also apply for youth mobility visa which lasts 2 years - www.gov.uk/youth-mobility. If your bf were to get a passport, you could probably even apply for partner visa. I made 2 videos about my visa experience: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3vuiDYS2d0A.html & ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M4Z4SFdbwaM.html Best to have a look on the UK government website because the prices are different for each visa & will be different to what I paid almost 5-6 years ago. Hope this helps! :)

The funny thing is you say the climate doesn't define peoples lives but it actually does more than you think. A climate can heavily dictate the lifestyle of a particular place which is why in the UK and Ireland the bar, food, festival, live gig scene is better while in Australia outdoor activities and sports are more common and better suited for this climate. Also I used to hate the atmosphere of when the sun came out in Ireland and everyone rushes to the beach to take photos and tell each other on Monday morning what they did for the day. Being able to enjoy outdoor beer gardens, outdoor cinema events, parks, beaches and water parks truly is amazing in Australia.

Oh I love your accent. It’s a nice little mixture! I love the Australians. Not so sure they love me however, but if I had a chance to move anywhere I’d move to California because I’m much better in a warmer climate. The UK is too cold and the maritime climate is too unpredictable. Never been to Australia but I’d love to go. I like the thought of having insects and spiders and cicadas all over the place. Our wildlife is a little bit on the basic side. No kangaroos, no koalas. Boring insects! I’m a huge wildlife fan and it would be great to study them. haha I don't agree with the hotels in tourists spots being shabby because thats not true at all! Shopping malls do close early, especially in Perth, they open later in Melbourne and Sydney though. Xmas in Australia is what I grew up with but I do love a white Christmas now I have experienced Christmas in the UK & Europe!! :)

i love your reasons for leaving Australia and moving to England. i had the exact reason for leaving Queensland and moving to Finland (through my uk passport). iv just returned home after 4 years and i have regrets. I think I'm addicted to travel. as soon as i arrived home i felt the boredom after only a few weeks. I'm watching your video as I'm planning to move to the uk now. if you see my message plz let me know how you are going. take care

Hows the planning going for your move? Yes still loving the UK, living in London now though! Instagram is the best place to msg me if you'd like to. :)

The problem of boredom lies with in yourself not Australia . If you are bored you ca always find something to do .

@@louisaklimentos7583 your first sentence is correct. You may be easier to entertain than myself, finding something to do is not the answer I need to feel like I'm getting the most out of my life.
