hey guys! I just wanted to upload this quick little life update~ I know I'm literally the worst about uploading regularly but I will keep trying! thanks to those who keep putting up with me~
Love your content I have been following you for quite awhile. Your videos to me are sometimes thought provoking but more often than not it makes me smile and laugh, congrats on your new place.
Totally agree about one's university town/city forever holding special meaning. I'm glad you have found a new home! A change of pace/setting/perspective while in a place with many friends nearby would be beneficial to anyone's creativity and zest for life 😊. When they visit you, I look forward to seeing your family member vlogs in such a city where I think many foreigners would enjoy themselves a lot.
This the first video I've seen of you, and your voice was not what I expected. Why are you so cute? LOL Enjoy your life in Shanghai. I was from there and I have a lot of relatives there as well. There is a lot of foreign population there so hopefully you can find new friends. You're very young so experience new exciting cities is a good decision. Living on autopilot is for older people with career and kids like me. Maybe when you're older you'll enjoy the autopilot life LOL. But for now, 加油 and enjoy Shanghai!
Always do what makes you happy! Best of luck in Shanghai. I am traveling back to china at the end of this year,I am going to GuangZhou, just likeShangHai,a big metropolis city. I am pretty sure I will have as much fun there as you do in Shanghai. 🍻
1:39 字幕没来得及显现星悦所表达的词汇。星悦说的其实是:「 我选择了一个身边有很多朋友的城市,因为这样我会更开心。」"I have chosen a city where I get to have a lot of friends around me, because this will enliven me." Enjoy all of Shanghai and the Jiangsu-Zhejiang region! You deserve it, Xingyue!
Have you ever tried Shenzhen, where you will the very best and worst of China and Chinese in a microcosm of modern China? Hong Kong is only a 40 minutes train ride away as are a myriad of escapes into Asia, Europe and the Americas. You can always love China but not necessarily stay there continuously. It’s hard on everyone there.
