I appreciate you and this video brother. I likewise had a similar experience. I met a with the pastor and elders over BLM sympathy, playing middle with voting left (and we’re in California), and soft messages on abortion that never addressed the baby being murdered and abortion being sin but rather “understanding” what brought the woman there and loving her. Of course we love her and we “understand” what brought her there, sin 99% of the time. The last tension was the abortion issue I mentioned and I left without talking again. But was encouraged by my new pastor to email them to let them know I left and at least thank them for whatever good they brought to my walk with Christ. I emailed the lead pastor stating that we left and thanked him. Sometimes I think if I should have again mentioned where I thought he was in error.

Way to be faithful brother!

A sad and familiar story. I left a Woke Church at the end of 2020, but I was blessed to find a very good church with community with like-minded people and solid Bible teaching.

I went to an A29 church. Heavy Tim Keller influence -> layer everything in intellectualism, sympathize with the left, never clearly lay out the gospel, keep non-pc topics out of Sunday sermons, focus on social justice.

Amen for taking a Godly stand. 2Cor 11:14 tells how the lie comes packaged in truth, do not be deceived. Gal 1:6-10 don’t follow the people follow the one true gospel. Heb 5:14 “discernment is trained by constant practice” Heb 4:12 “the word of God is living and active”.

I go to a Monday night men's group, it's ReGen, it used to be Celebrate Recovery, that meets at a church that's both SBC and Acts 29. My own church membership is elsewhere. I went to this church some in the past and I talked to the members of it and they indicate that they're not hearing woke stuff or talk about Matt Chandler in the sermons. However the pastor is enthusiastic about the Gospel Coalition and you see books by TGC authors. Please say a prayer for the pastor's greater enlightenment and coming under conviction to get out of this bad trending network. I'm going to try to indirectly call his attention to the video by the pastors in Boulder Colorado this year who got kicked out on false pretenses, and in recent days they put their entire phone call with the Acts 29 flunkies on RU-vid.

Instead of taking His little children out of the world ( John 17:15), He sends them back into the world (John 20:21), to let them grow together (Matthew 13:30), suffer together (John 16:33), sin together (Romans 3:23), so that the world may also understand healing, love, forgiveness, truth and salvation (John 3:16). But instead of accepting this gift, the Truth, the world, the Religious leaders, continue to kill the ones God sent to help them (slaughtering the sheep for personal gain), like they did at the Temple (John the Baptist never slaughtered sheep in the Temple), to the prophets, Jesus and Apostles. What is wrong with them?!?! Why is their pride more important than their life and the lives of others?!?! Their pride is killing them, their spouse, children, destroying their community and ultimately, the world. In the last days, the Angels are allowed to go out and kill people, all because of people's pride, because their only final hope of being saved is through suffering and death. The churches are hospitals and mortuaries, full of sick and dying people...and they're content with this? I don't think so. No one wants to suffer or die. Jesus brought Heaven down, with love, healing, joy and no more death, but again it is the religious leaders who shut the door to Heaven, so no one may enter (Matt. 23:13). If your pastor says, "the church is full of imperfect people", then you need to leave quickly. If the Sheep are well and healthy, then EVERYONE is well and healthy. This is God's Grace and gift to the world.
