Yes, as the first reply said, I would appreciate advice on how to make a wig, cap smaller, either going across the wig, or down the center. also, how to keep the ear tabs away from hitting my ears. Thank you so much! You are a sweetheart!
I don't usually comment on any videos really, but this hit me right in the heart, coming from someone who also has a ton of insecurities. Please keep in mind that when people comment negative things, it has more to do with them than you. Miserable people spread misery to make themselves feel better. You are definitely helping the people who want to receive help. Personally i think you look gorgeous. Every wig and topper you put on is perfection. Thank you for what you do. Always remember, haters gonna hate! That's what they do!
I only wear toppers and would love any and all topper content - tips, tricks, styling, modifying, care for both synthetic and human hair toppers. Thank you and good to see you back.
You were missed! You are young enough to be my daughter, but your honesty is so refreshing! I started losing my hair by the handfuls a year ago. I did see a dermatologist after the first month. I’m applying prescription strength minoxidil to my head plus taking oral minoxidil. My hair is starting to grow back, but I may have a beard soon! Your videos encouraged me to seek help. Thanks for your helpful information. Thanks for being so down to earth!
I’d love to see excellent, thorough reviews of toppers. I’d like to see the back view, without swishing the hair from side to side. Picking the hair up, showing how density affects coverage. And how much or little a particular topper covers. How cool/warm tones are another consideration in matching bio hair. Darker or lighter toppers than bio hair. Color comparisons in natural lighting. I’d like to know the overall lengths of pieces- not just the manufacturer lengths. Their specs are tricky when the piece is layered. Blending bangs. Thanks! Glad you’re back!
Hi thanks for your comment! I will definitely make sure to include topper content going forward! I am going to keep my focus primarily on tutorials, but when a review video pops in I will do my best to make it thorough! I love the color tutorial idea as well. Great ideas!!!
Hello 😊 I would love to see a video on how to choose a color for ones skin tone. I am a brown eyed brunette. It is hard to order hair to try color and have to pay for restocking/shipping etc. Thanks bunches . I totally understand why you needed a break . Makes perfect sense. Welcome back 🌸
YES!!!! Not only do I have this in the works, but I also built a CUSTOM Wig Shade recommendations tool! You can find it on my website, www.thewiggywoman.com!!!!! This is soooo important!
I am glad you are back. It’s a very brave thing to do to share yourself and hair loss. You are much needed as your experience will help many, please don’’t let the nonsense get you off track. I have not seen a lot of your videos but I can tell they come from the heart. 🌹
I am thrilled to have you back!!!! Your tutorial videos are so valuable, I have learned so very much from you. Personally, I find a natural RU-vidr is far more relatable. Thank You for returning♥️♥️♥️
Glad you're back! Just found you thru Denise Sheets. I've been watching your videos this morning and found them helpful. When I saw this video title I was disappointed thinking you left. You are a good teacher like my other fav, Denise Sheets. 💖
So glad you are back. Wigs became a normal part of my life last fall and your channel was one of the few I subscribed to after looking through youtube for videos specializing in more than just cosplay wigs. I've loved your tutorials and while the reviews are nice a lot of the wigs reviewed either are out of my price range or are styles/colors that I don't see myself using. So I am glad to hear there will be more tutorials coming as I still feel like such a newbie when it comes to wigs. Thankfully I've only ruined one and it was on the cheaper side but videos from you and a couple others have taught me things so I won't make the same mistake twice. I still struggle with styling my wigs beyond wearing them how they come out of the box/bag so any tutorials you feel like doing on styling will definitely be appreciated by me. Looking forward to more great videos in the future. *huggles*
I am a new subscriber. I am glad you are going to continue. I have been experiencing hair loss for some time and I enjoy your energy and content. Love your outlook on life♥️
Hi, you are a wonderful reviewer. As many have said, "haters gonna hate." I can only imagine how hard it is putting yourself out there on RU-vid, but you are a lovely person on the inside and out, and have very specific content that matters a lot to your viewers. We may not be the biggest community, but we are in need of a lot of support. Any content is helpful when you wear helper hair. Specifically, I'd like to know more about up dos. I wear medium length wigs and summer is torture. I don't "need" to wear wigs, but look much better with them on. Toppers are not an option because my bio hair is in a constant state of chronic telogen effluvium for many reasons I won't bore you with. Please keep in mind that those with more views, frequently are extra perky, review multiple things, and try to be everything to everyone, and that is not reality. You are perfect as you are!!
Time really flew. Before I knew it, months had gone by! It took me forever just to find all the parts to my ring light 😂 - But I am so glad to be back too. Thank you so much for being so supportive!!
Yay! Welcome back, and it's great to see you! 😊 I have always enjoyed all of your content. Never doubt yourself because you are very talented! 👏🏻🏅💯 I have some synthetic wigs with medium brown roots that have a reddish hue to them. I would rather the roots be a neutral or ash brown instead. Would you happen to know or do a future video on how to remove the red from the root, even it the root appears darker in the end? I'm a sucker for a nice dark root with no red in it. 😊 Thanks for all you do! YOU are very much appreciated and truly missed! ❤️
Thank you so much for this, it is so kind of you and I really appreciate that!! I do have some tipe for that, but yes it will make the wig a bit darker in the end. I love making videos coloring synthetic wigs. Everyone says you can't but I have done it multiple times now and it's not hard if you know what you are doing! I definitely have some warm tone blondes I could ash-up but, I'll have to dig around to see if I have warm tone browns! I am sure I do!
I stopped Instagram for now, I do digital art, and I stopped for the same reason you did. Totally understandable. I’m going back on it, because I really miss doing and displaying my art. But you’re right, it takes self-concept down. I have to be really careful about that.
I’m so happy your back! I love your videos! I love that you will not be spending an hour on your makeup. I’m an older woman in my 60’s and belong to a couple Facebook hair loss support groups. I love it when people post pictures of their new or favorite wigs but many feel the need to filter their pictures and use makeup apps. I like the every day look! I have a couple long wigs & really enjoy wearing them but have issues with them tangling and snarling in the back. Any tips or tricks for preventing this would be much appreciated!! I look forward to seeing your next video!❤️
I think, especially being in hair loss - hurt people hurt people. Couple that with showcasing your biggest insecurity it can be a messy recipe!! But comments like yours are so sweet and really remind me why I put myself out there!
Thank you so much for this video. I LOVE your make-up here. I would love to hear more about this hair you are wearing. I am also into toppers and want to hear more about styling, etc. Go Bengals!!
Would love to see content on how to make the (front part of the wig specifically) blend in with your own hairline and forehead. That is the biggest issue I am having is having that one little area in the front match up seamlessly. Thanks!
So happy you are back. You have always been my favorite RU-vid hair loss guru! Your videos have helped me to have the courage to try hair toppers. Thank you! ❤️ Id love to see something on matching colors. As I am getting older my naturally light brown with blonde highlights hair color is changing to a more grayish ashy brown and I have had difficulty finding toppers that match my hair color and blend well. Any suggestions on how those of us with “out of the ordinary” hair colors can get toppers to match and blend better?
Hi, So are you back? I don't see new videos....I always loved your informative videos....I Hope you are back and will look more! Youre beautiful inside and out-don't forget that!
I dont normally leave comments but nice to have you back would love to know your views on how your longer wigs held up which ones you would recommend etc
You are so kind!! Thank you so much for your comment! I can definitely do that! I have one showing a couple of my older wigs and how they look now - but I think doing a video of many different wigs after they've been "well loved" is a great idea and I am going to add that to the queue!! Check this one out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QbgEs1NQ_kU.html
i would like to see reg, wigs "topperized" my word?? in different ways if that is possible. Ckallenge: can that be done without losing wig hair? or at least less!! Any way to cut wig w/o taking off a round section of the wig? I want the hair but in topper form, I need the hair or I wouldn't be looking for them. Step by step on how to topperize your wigs w/o losing your hair???(Ha!!!) Thanks so much and glad your back !!!! Marian :) :)
@@TheWiggyWoman yes but not cutting away alot the wig hair,,,some toppers don't have much dentisity/thickness/volume as wogs do so the coverage is more thin. My hain is fine and thinning so I want more hair in topper form. Does this make any sense?? Glad you are back! I didn't make it easy for you!!! Thanks!!!!! Marian
I love that you spoke of your experience. ❤️. I have a question for you. Maybe you have addressed this; I’m still poking around in your site- I am struggling with hair loss and I have a hard to match color of fading red hair. Haven’t ever dyed hair before. Think I may need a topper down the road but how do you do this with a rarer color of hair? Don’t even know where to begin. Didn’t know if you had video for this situation, or if it is an idea for one…
Welcome back. I would like to know if you have a hand tied and normal version of the same style... Pros...cons... I have never owned a hand tied cap and am saving up. Also fiber comparisons between brands ..which is the most realistic? Which is the easiest to care for?
Yes!! I have Rachel which is a hand tied version (Similar) of Heidi froim Jon Renau, I also have Zara and Zara Lite from Jon Renau where Zara Lite is the hand tied. I think a comparison of the pros and cons of Hand Tied is a GREAT idea for a video! Thank you so much!
Awwww I am VERY active on Instagram @thewiggywoman … RU-vid is exhausting 🤣 I still get so many more negative comments on here it’s hard to keep the energy! But comments like these do help me try to rally!
I have thin fine hair and have always wished for long beautiful wavy locks. I had never considered wigs or toppers until I started experiencing hair loss after covid. I was losing hair by the handful and it scared me. That’s when I stumbled on your videos. I tried my first small topper (it’s about the size of the palm of my hand) and liked the results with only one issue. I can’t seem to hide the front clip without pulling my bangs back with a barrette. Any suggestions? It does seem that my covid hair loss has stopped. My hair is still thin and fine, but a year later it is more like it was pre covid. That being said, it’s not the hair I want and I rarely feel confident when I look in the mirror. Do you have suggestions for toppers that would allow me to enjoy longer lengths and more fullness? I am wondering about some with a larger base but I’m not sure what options would work best. I’d love to hear your ideas!
Hey thank you so much for your comment. Not sure if you have seen this video linked below - but it goes through some other topper options that you might like!! I also have a hard time blending traditional hair toppers, and my topper of choice are lace front hair toppers. They create a new hairline, similar to how a lace front wig does, but with a topper base. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y5e6aYsftRw.html - Shows Top Smart in various different lengths ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N0kBYpvf-OE.html - Lace front hair topper from Uniwigs
I joined the Facebook "support" group you recommended in another video and now I know how you must feel. While most people were supportive, I had one person tell me to "Calm down!" Which I felt was hurtful and completely not supportive. So I dumped out of the group before I said something that would have gotten me kicked out, but now I don't know where to go for support. Any suggestions?
