Why I love Fort Wayne | Is Indiana a good place to live? 

Indiana is a relatively cheap and easy place to live. Not too crowded. If you're looking for great scenery, you'll need to get on a plane. The people are nice, but they wear their politics on their sleeves, like all "conservatives" are trained to do. It's often when you first meet them, it's always negative and it comes with a smug head bob pushing for your agreement. But then that's true in all red states. Just befriend people who think rationally or at least know to keep their mouths shut. On the plus side, unlike the south, they don't wear their religion on their sleeves. The relentless, high-pressure tactics down there are exhausting. Win some, lose some.

You need to do a segment about Fort Wayne's connectivity, all the US and Interstate roads that can get you anywhere, AND Fort Wayne International Airport is a historic gem. (look up its history)

Don't do it! The jobs suck, as in few over $18 an hour, most of the rentals are owned by near slum lords or "investment companies" that are just as bad. The only real thing to do around here is drink, drink a lot and reflect on your life choices. Contrary to "popular belief" the cost of living isn't really too bad but again, the wages avaible make one chose to either pay rent/mortgage or eat or have power or have heat or drink. More than likley your job will make you reconsider your choices as well..... (drinking more). As a person who has lived here all my life, this person in the video really is just trying to sell you something like everyone else around here, (drink again). So why am I STILL here, well Like I said even with a job paying on the higher end of the scale and budgeting, it is really hard to pay bills, eat AND put up a savings to find a way to escape....... All this is just my humble opinion from someone who has been here all my life.....

Nightlife here is very stable. A lot of the bars and clubs have been here a long time. You don't go to a ton of different places. You tend to pick your favorites and become repeat customers.

then moved to ILLINOIS because Igot married lived in ILLINOIS for 26 years I think

I lived in Fort Wayne from 2021 to 2023 and I really liked the people. Plenty of things to do if you look hard enough.
