Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 9 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 7 years.

Agree with you about good Thai husbands! Just celebrated 18 years with mine, and our beautiful son is about to turn 17. My Thai husband is a very involved father. He also speaks only Thai with my son, so despite moving back to the US when our baby was 3 months, he is fluent in Thai. Hubby is always thoughtful like giving me flowers on Mother’s Day, our anniversary and birthday. I am a lucky lady!

Hello this is Higgins - Wat knows me from years back and we were there in 2016 briefly and I met you. I have a Thai wife and son and lived there for 12 years but we are in the UK now. Wat helped me when I had some trouble in Chaweng once he is very kind. You don't forget things like that. He's funny too. I had some great times with Wat and Pun and the others a long time ago, great memories. Please say hello to him for me. I'm glad you are all happy.

Your living the life of a princess 👸🏼 in paradise. 3 babies but you can wake up and have coffee peacefully , a live in full time nanny, and a Awesome dad and husband wakes at night to do momma duties. Wat is a man of few words, he didnt show it very often on how he loves his family but we can see that from all the little things he does. The kids bond with him is amazing. See how Luke misses him when he was in the US? And how Leon stopped crying when he came to fetch him back from school? Soon it will be Lyla's turn. Why i am lucky to have my Thai hubby. This man is so thoughtful, protector, gentle, so CALM and always taking care of me in every little needs every day. If my body hurts, he gives me message. No western man does this. Lol. Goes to the morning market for me because as a western we pay more than the Thai. What I dislike about my hubby is, he can't accept my help when he is sick or if he as pain somewhere on his body. He takes such a good care of me and I keep explaining that I need to do the same for him... I never win on this subject. 🥺

I’m very traditional when it come to marriage roles; I think marriage generally works best when the man is the bread winner but I do realize life doesn’t always go a certain way. I’ve always asked myself, how does a relationship reconcile the switched roles? You two seem to be doing wonderfully in this respect. You’re the breadwinner but he is still the man of his home, not emasculated at all. It’s foreign to me (and fascinating)but he really does embody a masculine homemaker. I love the respect I see you two offering each other, how you both are so invested in the family and the Lord. Anybody woman would be so fortunate as to find a man like him.

If you watch her videos you'll see how well he loves his wife and family and is protective among many other great qualities Wat brings to his beautiful family. Also, Wat had another business other than fishing and was very successful before he met Lilly. Covid changed many ways this family makes money and they work together. Maybe spend more time getting to understand before making inaccurate comments.

Hi the last video lily briefly mentions Nam and how became their Nanny.im sure lilly said Its due was due to the repercussions of covid-19. Nam was their chef in their restaurant and when the restaurant discontinued due to covid lockdown she became the kiddies nanny. 😊

That's so funny, my husband, who is LAO, followed me to the bathroom, waited to know that I am ok as there were other men trying to pursue me that night. This was the first night we met. And my husband is best to go to the asian market. He knows all the tips and tricks to get the best of the best. I have a lot to learn from him. My husband actually picks my crabs and lobster meat for me so I don't have to get my hands dirty. I love him dearly. 12 years strong.
