I can see that emotions caused you to be a Buddhist. It was the need to feel good after going through emotional and circumstance suffering. True feeling is made in mentality. True mentality is made in Holy Spirit. If a Buddhist is no different to a Muslim or different to an atheist, than its fair to say that Buddhism is no spiritual faith but is emotional. Spirituality is giving, believing and practical reliance on the Holy Spirit of God.
Much better to be happy doing something that might not make a little bit of sense than to do something that’s completely ridiculous. That doesn’t do anything for you in the end.
