I was eager to get into this tonight in VR but had some tech issues & have to "refactor" some stuff. It certainly looks like an interesting ride! Your titling made me think you might have had some sort of negative experience with the game, but rather than being "done" you end the video by saying you're diving back in. An interesting watch, despite that. :)

i played for about 2 hours and the music constantly kept my heart BPM at around 100. I hate horror games but something makes me want to play it

Once you get that beast kitted out, NOS, shields, nice combinations of dmg resist panels, huge batteries and fuel tanks that re charge themselves. My god at 35 hours in im still LOVING this loop!

I have been grinding materials to have a more easy time on deeper areas. But it is never easier, even fully upgraded.😢

Im currently 58hrs in. Ive finished all of the schematics and im just clearing the rest of the map at this point. plan for deadends, strip your car (there is an achievement for this), honestly this game has been great and a new idea. I cant wait for mods, that allow me to attach MORE stuff to my car. lol

Thanks for your review and I agree with it all. As far as PD's anxiety inducing gameplay, there's definitely a lot of that. But that won't keep me from playing it. If anything, it makes me want to play it more! In fact, I'm going to play some now. PEACE!

This is the second game I can remember playing recently where the story is entirely an audio drama that was very clearly written after the game was made The other one was Synapse It's like if they recorded a real football match, and then wrote a story to play over the footage. And the story isn't actually about football, it's about top secret government black projects. But the only footage you have is the football game, so you've somehow just got to twist the story to make it barely fit the footage Not knocking it, it's an interesting approach. Allows you to build a good core of a game first, then you can get good writers and VO and just have a good story play along with the game But it does leave a real feeling of a disconnect. Like the story is pretending to be about the thing that's going on in the game, but it's really not They're both games I'd be interested in seeing what they could do if they got sequels or even different media spinoffs, where the narrative and what you're seeing/doing are written with each other in mind.

doesnt look like a full review to me but thats probably cause my standards are different also the game probably would get updated and expansions so things can change and this is why i stay away from newly released game and stick to something really unique or something that already refined also you should talked about the characters with their personalities and maybe have some game comparison in similar nature i would utilize more show and tell cause muting the gameplay audio and only using random music is the easy way out what i learned the hard way is making proper game reviews never gets easier just more complex
