Good luck in Switzerland, will miss seeing the London vlogs, just love visiting the place when I can. Will have to go over your old vlogs for my ‘London fix’
Ah cheers mate, they'll be loads more to come from here in Switzerland, but also elsewhere. Definitely not as exciting as London, but it's a different kind of beauty
Hey Philipp, congratulations on your move, Pity we didn’t manage to meet up much but I love always enjoyed seeing your pictures on Instagram and following your videos here. Basel is a wonderful city - I know it really well - my brother lived there for 20 years and his daughters are still there (sadly my brother died a few years ago but he said he’s never move back to London or the UK). I still now visit often to see my nieces and old friends and colleagues of my brother - he worked at the BIS in the Botta building in Aeschenplatz. But Basel is amazing - as you say it boasts a super quality of life, it’s hugely cultural and within the stunning setting of the meeting point of 3 countries at the very heart of Europe. I’m sure you’ll love it! Next time I am over I’ll get in touch and we can have a beer and maybe do some photography. All the best!
Hey Adam, a real pity indeed, would have been awesome to share ideas and experiences in London together. I can only echo your brother's views, I couldn't go back either now. Since then (this was a serviced apartment) my work ended up placing me in Zurich (I was literally just commuting here nonstop), but it's a tiny country. Definitely let me know next time you're over and we'll make it happen :)
Ah man, it's a shame to see you go. It would have been amazing to go out around London for some great long exposure shots together. So glad that you're currently enjoying it, have fun 😊
Good luck in Basel, I've really enjoyed your London vlogs and got lots of inspiration for when I get to visit London. All the best and looking forward to the Basel vlogs 🙂👍
Thanks mate, glad they came in handy in London. I'll see how I can develop the channel, have had cclose to zero time to film, but it'll hopefully all fall into place eventually
Viel Glück in deiner neuen Heimat...
I discovered your channel recently because I will be in London for New Years. I've always been interested in photography but I have little experience with using an actual camera. I've done hours of research and I think I want to go mirrorless since it just recently started. Do you recommend the Sony A7RIII vs Nikon and Canon? Also what lens should I go with first that's versatile. I'm honestly only interested in landscape/night photography.
Hey KP, I personally use the A7RIII and think it's better than Canon or Nikon. Also the A7III is amazing too. As a first lens get something versatile, like a 24-70 (or the kit lens that comes with it), then over time see where you typically photograph (more wide, more tele) and then based on that see which lens suits you next. 16-35mm is also a great first lens if you only care for landscapes.
Ah man, it's a shame to see you go. It would have been amazing to go out around London for some great long exposure shots together. So glad that you're currently enjoying it, have fun 😊
@@PhilippPley well you can now enjoy it more as a holiday. Plan special places in London to go before you come. Whenever I go on holiday somewhere, it's always fun to plan the special places to take great shots before coming. I'm sure you'll take some great ones over there
@@TomRyanElliott I'm gonna avoid coming back real soon unless it's for special occasions of friends. Way too much unseen beauty on my doorstep I'd rather tap into for now :) plus I have ZERO time, it's all work work work
