I just received my pre-order of the denim sunset and the denim key case, I unpacked and the quality is not worth the price. I repacked back up and just posted it back to LV. I think they will get a lot of pre-order returns because the quality is just not there.

Really? I ordered the key pouch and zippy coin. Couldn't justify the prices of the bags for styles I'm not into at all. 😅 I have 3 denim Chanel bags (2 of which are medium CFs in blue and black denim), and the black speedy jacquard from last year (barely used once or twice). I may be returning as well, I recently saw a pic of the stitching looking off/crooked on an SLG. We'll see. Thanks for the video, Dayle. Great perspective on how to avoid FOMO during these times. I was never into the vintage versions, and we could always get them later. There really is no race to get the most handbags or latest handbags the fastest (unless you are a collector like Meredith, of course!).😅🤣😂

Oh I love this! When you realise you don't need it and not bothered about chasing it down etc. I love the denim collection - It's def nostalgia for me and that I missed it the first time round as I couldn't afford it back then. I could go preloved but I love the store experience and also finding one in great condition without having to get it restored would be difficult so I may be having a sneaky look when I am next in London.

Always a moment of pride when you successfully beat temptation and FOMO! I'm passing on the denim collection too. I like some of the pieces but if I'm being honest, I don't think I'd wear them much. I don't really see them fitting into my wardrobe. Plus I still think the prices on this collection are silly!

Thank you!! I love this message. I just had the same sort of thing occur yesterday - I nearly got swept away in the excitement when I received a pre-sale opportunity to purchase a unique vintage piece. I love everything about the bag aesthetically, but when I rrrrrreally thought about my motivation to purchase, it was from a place of FOMO, and it also wasn’t a piece I could style with my current wardrobe. And I’m not that committed to purchase a whole new wardrobe of clothing just to suit one bag. So I declined the opportunity. No regrets! And I’m proud of myself!!

I can appreciate how much Meredith loves her original denim collection and is on the hunt always to complete this collection. I love seeing what she has and how she has them restored, but the denim is not for me. I will however be interested in what she does buy. I love a good unboxing. 😁 Our LV pop up shop has now closed in Adelaide so no instore shopping for me. I am loving the hunt of pre-loved bags. Great savings to be had and who doesn't love a bargain ? Fantastic advice. I have the denim cles from the original collection. I've heard about the new drop, of course, but haven't looked at photos because LV prices are so high now. But then you show photos and now there are pieces I want. Your video backfired on me! 🤣

Loved this Dayle! 61 times?! That’s crazy! It’s hard not to use your practical bags because they are grab and go. I was a bit surprised by the acid green one, but not really as I know it goes with your wardrobe and that you love quirky colors. I don’t work so I dont use larger bags but I use my canvas LV Odeon pm very frequently and I have used my black empreinte pochette Métis a lot over the last few years. Also my tan small puzzle bag. They have held up wonderfully! I have over 30 luxury bags and can’t help but still buy more because I love them, but I do have a hard time using them all. And I find I use some of my most loved the least. I really try to rotate. That was a lot of work you put into this video and we thank you for the entertaining video.

Agree !! I’d definitely like a denim bag but I’ve never really been into lv’s denim! I love your denim Chanel and also Deb’s denim 19 and a few years ago there was a nice denim Chanel flap which had Chanel written all over it ! So maybe one day I’ll find one but no rush ❤

I agree with you. However I was lucky in that I found a denim baggy pm in excellent condition for $975. So I bought it. I actually prefer the older denim to the new and the quality looks better. I figured at the price I paid I won’t lose out if I decide to sell it. Great video😄

I have to also add that I agree re not getting swept up in fomo (I’m feeling this especially lately with Hermes bags) now I won’t buy a bag unless it gives me little butterflies & makes my heart skip a beat when I see it ❤

Yay good for you! If you change your mind there will be others. I feel this LV denim collection is lacking. The raw lining is a cheap cop out in my view. If it had a lovely, floral lining to go against the denim, it would have been much more interesting for me but as it is, I’m not buying.

I must have been under a rock 😂 because the first time I saw the collection it was walking into the LV store in Paris and the Coussin style took my breath away. It was so beautiful! I haven’t had that feeling for a bag for a while 😅 i think it presents better in-person than the photo online too. I bought it and I love it! 🙏🏽 also saved quite a bit buying it in France vs Australia.

Excellent video Dayle! Thank you I honestly don’t like any of the new lv denim bags that much. I think they look cute in some pictures and quite saggy and cheap in others. And extremely overpriced. Its just denim! This is coming from someone who owns a denim deuville bag 😂. Its more expensive than any of the new lv denim, my chanel deuville looks distressed but doesn’t look cheap. So i think its not just the lv denim price. It’s something else… Maybe im just tired of all the lv releases, way too may. Its like one every other week Or maybe im just tired of seeing the lv logo everywhere. Im not into quite luxury at all, i like logos. I don’t know what its , i think i just don’t like lv anymore 😢 Have you ever fallen out of love with a brand? Thank you for the video Happy New Year ❤

I was drawn into the hype, too. But 2024 is the year for me to buy things I can use. Not because it is cute and I need it in my collection. I travel a lot for my work and I hardly at home. Buying things and letting the items sit in my house, it feel stupid. I have eliminated the denim collection, the dune collection in my wishlist, and may be I get a keepall 45 in monogram eclipse instead that is not cute, but I can use it to travel every month. I can look at the keepall and enjoy it while I travel and might make me smile instead of cute things that sit in my house that I not even there to look at it cause I travel so much for work. 😅

The only item I liked from this collection is the ley pouch, I want one for a while and I prefer something a bit different than the standard ones they carry all year, I said to myself that when I'll go pick it up I'll what other key pouches they have and if I like something else I'll return the denim and get the other one I think this collection is nice but overpriced
