Her take on why she cant find a man in States was not truthful! Good black men in USA are not paying attention to black women in USA anymore because of your attitude & the fact that you don't value black men, black love or yourself's. You have sided with feminist, and broke ranks to fight for Black rights and decided to fight for women's rights and that turned into gay rights. More important. All while Beyonce & the movement pushed Independence & Equality. YOU got this attitude that black men are beneath you. And not good enough for you cause you managed to make a few more dollars then he did. The fact that you only focused on the sterotypes about black men. Is evident you are of the same mindset that has black women in USA looking pretty dumb now. . Your single because you want to be strong black women. You want to compete with us. You want to wear the pants, and chase more Putang than us! And only reason men there would pay you any mind is your $$ Because America bred you to wanna be bread winner, independent, to not need a man for anything. We ain't put with it or your nasty attitudes. So what makes you think Kenyan man will put up with that? You may have changed your address. But if attitude is still American? Then you will get same results. Most black women or most women in USA don't believe in servitude to the man. Clarify: Not all black women in USA are like that but to many of them are like that. Im not gone keep preaching.
ADVICE: try to learn the language while in Africa. Try to speak it even when you make mistakes. English is a business language. African languages are from the heart. I will bring you closer to people and make you understand the culture
Why do people who live in Africa always seem so happy and fulfilled .I don’t see such genuine happiness in the diaspora from Europe to North America .So much mental health issues ,no genuine happiness ❤️🤩.That lady looked so happy .Genuine happiness wow .God bless her 💕💃🏾💯
Kenya is on my radar within the next year and half. I want to say the lady did a great job of explaining what you can expect to encounter in Kenya. Great channel. 🙂
Make sure you've enough $$, 'cause Kenya is on another level with partyin' & generally people fun. If you're business-minded - tech, finance, manufacturing, real estate, et al, are sure minters.
I lived there for a few months before going to Ethiopia I would recommend Kenya definitely more developed than West Africa travelling between countries is easier.
Great interview. African Tigress asked great questions and Nikki gave wonderful answers. Learned a lot from her. I’m planning to retire to Kenya and Nikki answered a lot of questions as to what I should expect. Very informative.
I think the biggest part of moving to another country is getting involved in the culture, specifically learning the language. No shade to the interviewee but we Americans sometimes think from an aspect of privilege. Just because English is spoken in countries in Africa we should make a conscience effort to learn a country’s main traditional language.
$2000 a month, you must be using alot of cash. It's cheaper in Kenya if you own a house about $500 is enough budget for food, transport & other basic needs. If you need lavish lifestyle then yeah, its very expensive even if you own a house.
This was such a great interview and the chapters were really cool because it made it easy to go back in the video to certain topics. I love this channel💖💛💚
She said 42% of black women are unmarried/ never been married. The statistics say over 85% of black men are married to black women. So, it is not black men who find black women unattractive regardless of the standard of beauty that is been promoted in the media. Unless you are looking for love from a particular group of people, a black woman or man should not have any problem dating within her or his race. You can be happy you found a fertile dating scene somewhere without crucifying black men in America.
Huh? Only about 33% of BM are married and within that 33%, 85% have a Black wife. No matte how you slice it it’s still not a good percentage. You can’t state a statistic without setting up all the facts.
Congratulations to her and I pray for her continued success and happiness in Kenya. I love her bubbly personality and honesty. I think the process of buying things will get better for her as times goes on once she learns more Swahili, and naturally picks up the ability to change her accent to the local one. Which, comes with time when you truly love and integrate within a culture ♥️ more blessings and peace to Nikki 💕
Welcome home NikkyFaye you're very happy in Kenya and in love no doubt. Your face lit up when you talk about dating and other experiences in Kenya. 100% sure she's the lady in the viral video on Terence Creative as a tourist on instagram and may be youtube.
African Tigress: love your intro...it’s epic! Nikki: Love your candor, but those statistics are grossly exaggerated on American dating. Every woman in my family is married, including me. There’s no shortage. Glad you’re enjoying your experience!!! 💕
@La Verne lol, which "culture" is this?? It's akin to me equating Amish or Southern whites to mainstream culture in America...there are "pockets" of this but trust me, humans are modern and civilized in Africa too! They aren't after your legs
La Verne, you’re still stereotyping. No one in my family is on a second or third marriage. Maybe you’re getting your statistics from the media. All of the ladies in America, black, white or other, have the option of remarrying, and every race has participated in divorce. Remember also, this is recent history, and before women’s rights, women in the USA had to either deal with the stigmas of divorce or endure patriarchal oppression just like many other archaic societal structures. But now that everyone has a choice in the matter, let humans live freely.
Yes sister, this interview was great but the comment this sister made about dating didn’t sit right with me.. Our people evade self accountability at all costs.. Even if it means tearing down one another. She just 💩 on Black men with those comments..
Ok....The next new Kenyan norm...Work remotely from the US.... We are pro's at every trade... Accounting, techies, science, math, name it...I need connections now.. hehehe
If you black & they'll call you "Mzungu" = Fake White, because of your English accent 😂😂😂. In Africa, every black has an African accent of English that's why.
@@ewm4266 If you are White that means you are a Mzungu. A black person cannot be classified as a Mzungu. Kenyans know the difference between a black American & whites even in the villages.
Kenya has mortgaged the port of Mombasa to secure loans from china which it cannot pay back. China will soon own one of the largest ports in africa. If the front lines of the struggle here in America is too much for your ass then go wherever you want to and pretend it doesn't exist because you no longer see white faces
@@michaelbey5331 if all black Americans left and moved to Africa. We would have 10x more power to fight as a unified black race. Fighting in America might make you feel good, but strategically it’s not a winning strategy. History proves so.
When she said in the US we don't realize that Africans have money, I'm wondering what media she watched. Gaddafi was so well known that he become a person of folklore in rap lyrics.
lol, Gaddafi wealth is not shown on CNN, plus I think she is referring to the African middle-class - the ones flying to Dubai monthly to shop :( you don't see them on mainstream American media....and they shouldn't be going to Dubai anyway - Buy African.I digress.
@@tapera86 mainstream media's job isn't to show African wealth anymore than it is to show Chinese wealth. If a person has a interest in a particular people and their culture it's easy enough to research it independently and find a group that share similar interests. Not all outlets of life will be spoon fed.
@@MrAlfisher3 The U.S. is showcasing Chinese/Asian wealth in the media. There are several reality shows dealing with rich Asians & even a movie called "Crazy Rich Asians". Asian wealth is being heavily promoted in U.S. media right now. It's 2021, not 1991 so times have changed.
@@pumpkin03 It also shows the African side,I hear much talk of CNN been biased but CNN has a great number of docs on African wealth, millionaires and also shows that focus on the rising middle class, plus also the dark side..I can name quite a number of documentaries focused on African business..
It is nice to be in a place where you are loved... We must establish positive “African villages” everywhere so we can have a place to share our culture and knowledge and feel the love we have for each other. Then we can unite throughout the diaspora.
Your channel is amazing! My mum's family are from Senegal, and my dad's from Sweden. I might be moving to Nairobi for work this year, (I have the interview tomorrow) and would love to make some local friends so if I make it up there and you'd be up for having a coffee or showing another girl around let me know!
The best thing about Kenya is we welcome everyone even the real Mzungu (white person) feels more privileged especially if they have the right attitude towards others.
1000 USD... THATS TOO MUCH...BUT IF YOU ARE RENTING A HOUSE...THAT MAKES SENSE. .. Basically 500 USD if you own a house your good for a normally Good like... Especially if you your way around...
If you are an African American the simplest and I mean the simplest way to choose between settlling Kenya and Tanzania. Kenya is like moving to California and Tanzania is like Texas. (Diluted versions of both, legally and economically) Then from there do your own research. If you plan to just visit, none of that matters just come visit East Africa, Hakuna Matata, no worries.
African Tigress is right. Africans who live in the west are often referred to as "Mzungu"- when they go back home. But i had never heard of the term.'Black Mzungu" - very funny.
#Deedarmkn I like your All video Mtu atanisaidia. Nataka kusafiri kwenda Tanzania Kenya. Nataka kuona kijiji hapo. Ninataka kujua jinsi watu wanaishi huko pia, kwa hivyo tafadhali nisaidie na kukamilisha mpango wangu wa kusafiri.
@@ewm4266 oooh.... I was married to a Kenyan women... and I just speak on what I've seen... and it's all over you tube.... not saying their all bad... I was just making a point on muzugu... they love white people more than their selves... facts.
@@willa9791 Aaahh you got your facts on you tube?🤔, Speak about that girl you married not a whole country, btw you speak as if a black person marrying or falling for a white person is a disease or it should be deemed shameful, when its not. Fyi Kenya has 45+ million people, Some of them have never even seen a white people so why generalise? The term Muzungu has several meanings it would be best if you learn them rather than pushing an agenda that is not the norm for the whole country. So should we call you a black lover and create a mountain out of a mole hill? Should it even matter??
@@willa9791 This can happen and while it may not be with every lady, most things about Africans and white people relationships may have to do with how people grew up after colonization. It started that engines etc things that made life better came from these people who tried so hard to colonize the spirit, education, religion, naming and treated africans and their traditions as being bad. So you grow up that belief is put across in books, tvs, movies, school system, jobs, attire, housing, medicine, relgion. So it is not directly them but what they were brought up to see as superior which was forced on them. Later you become indoctrinated. It takes time and eduaction to change that mindset because the west tried so hard to put it in everything. Remmber they have forced Africans to live a life they never knew even slavery also brought it with it. WHEN they were treated like what they know is low and not superior. So that is why women look at white as superior. Jesus was said to be white and the devil is black, so what do you expect? The money and riches is believed to be in the west and sometimes people need money and they find themselves drawm to these people. They may not have alot of money but dollar is seen ti be stronger always,so the little they give may be something worth more in Africa and so to the poor women. But again with issue of liking white people should not be treated like a sin. White people are human beings... human beings socialize and love nomatter the color. I don't see how one can love you genuinely incase then you tell them no i can't love you back because you are white or because you are black. Love happens and seriously there are genuine ones. So never say black women, Kenyan women oh. How they were socialized and brought up with an environment that adores everything white is a factor you like it or not.
Would love to meet friends in East Africa . I’ve visited West Africa , and it was beautiful 😍. Now I want to try East Africa next . Please let me know if anyone is interested in being friends (on the continent or in the US) . Love from Georgia, USA ❤️
Hi African Tigress: Looking forward to be on this livestream. Keep up the good work. There are two Returnee RU-vidrs living in Tanzania with fascinating stories you might want to check up: XODUS Africa ( is from the U.S) The Black Travelista (is from England) Returnees living in South Africa The Real South Africa (couple from the U.S. living in South Africa) Thanks.
This lady might be surprised to learn that 62% of black-American are single/divorced. American men are reevaluating the 'risk to benefit' analysis of being married in America. Feminism, 70% of American divorces are filed by women, unfavorable treatment in divorce court/alimony/child custody has a lot of single black-American men doubting the benefits of marriage in the American system.
