I just want to say, I'm genuinely, unironically impressed with your friend's violin performance at the end. For someone who clearly doesn't play the instrument regularly, she didn't get a single note wrong! That's pretty awesome.

Happy Belated Birthday. Winter in snowy parts of the world is far better than an English winter. The air is dry, the snow soft and dry and the sun shines but all we get is fifty shades of grey with bone chilling damp and cold. I feel for you having a February Birthday because mine is in November

Dear Laura, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Norway is truly a beautiful place to be for a birthday celebration, maybe it could be an annual event with your dear friends. What you showed us is so similar to the rural areas of British Columbia where my partner and I lived. What I will tell you is that winters with lots of snow can be tedious and hard work, though produces some incredible sights. There is no perfect place except that which is in your heart. Theres always been something about Norway that makes me want to visit one day, its just such a stunning country. I think the issue with our winters is that we don't really know how to prepare for it as a country. Anywhere else everyone has everything they need when the snow falls. Here? We get a few inches and its a standstill. I was going to ask you about games as I spied Ticket to Ride on the table! I think you just had my idea of a perferct birthday, friends, food, games and crafts, I'd happily switch birthdays as I was born in the summer.

You should celebrate your concieved day May / June . I know exactly what you mean about the cold. In the UK it is a damp cold where zero feels like minus 5 it penetrates clothing. The universe is taking good care of you. Lovely video Happy Birthday
