This was just too much dopeness!!!Loved every bit of this showcase of real life projects! Definitely next level bro! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Keep em’ coming! 🔥
I hope all "film" RU-vidrs big or small see this comment but this video right here, not including all your other insightful videos you output, make you one of the best and ACTUAL filmmaker on YT right now! You don't simple talk about gear and end with a "would I recommend this?" lackluster video, you give us the behind the scenes, your challenges, obstacles, and how you overcame them, and you legit work in the film industry!!! Please future "film" youtubers take note!!! STOP with the gear reviews!!! RU-vid videos and IG Reels should be 5% gear, 95% results!! Do not simply show us the gear, show us what you can produce with it: the image quality, tons of B roll (not of the gear itself!), and go out of your room, ehh "studio" and make something!!! We need to change the format and this channel right here along with a few others have found that new format!!!
Bro you have no idea how much this comment means to me. This video is the type of videos I've been wanting to make but I wasn't sure if it would work for RU-vid. Thanks you for the kind words. I will continue to try and raise the bar!
@@bwashmedia your work and your videos are an inspiration to many of us! You put in the endless hours and I don't know you in person but from your content to how you present yourself, I can say you are without a doubt a HONEST human being! Don't stop, make it to the top, and I'll be looking forward to the day you decide to put a film up on the big screen and I'll take all my friends to my local theaters and go watch it in your honor 🙏
How to know you’ve taken your production company to the next level: do a shoot that calls for the BOLT. Well done getting the shot. I want to say…I too love that RED went with CF EXPRESS on the V-Raptor. These cards are insanely fast.
that was a blast. I didnt stop smiling, and for many reasons. first and not the least, this was "production pron" in the purest sense. the gear and the excitement was like a film in itself, this production of the behind the scenes was amazing. Thanks for not waving off the difficulties that really come with these shoots (and im sure there were quite a few more that didnt make the cut ha ha). Thanks for the inspiration and thanks for contributing to the community. Keep on keeping on and I pray for the best in your future Brandon.
This is video was perfect. This is the type of content we need as filmmakers. Watching this was like a breathe of fresh air. Please make more. Blessings
Brandon, for years I’ve loathed watching RU-vid video after RU-vid video covering the gear I look forward to affording some day, only for the reviewer to ruin my excitement and motivation by showing off macro flower shots and ultra basic b-roll. I personally wished filmmakers on this platform would review new camera tech by putting it through it’s paces on real client work accompanied with behind the scenes b-roll footage. This, this right here is exactly the content I wish I could binge watch all day. You’ve inspired me to get off my ass and make my own in-depth review videos on this platform. Thank you Brandon, what an incredible video!
Thanks for this dude. Making stuff and filming behind the scenes takes effort. Also thanks for not just posting videos of camera and lenses that is 97% of creators videos... ah this camera and lens so cool. Cheers!
I love a lot about the RED camera lines, but to be completely honest, I would feel insane picking a camera for a week of important projects that didn't have a dual media slot on it. There is no single card on the market that I would trust everything to, at least in my production experience.
Awesome. Simply amazing. THIS is what is needed..equipment on locations dealing w real world issues! Love this for filmmakers to see how and what to deal w on film locations and real projects. EVERYTHING goes sideways at some point and helping people understand this is part of the process and everything is but slick and perfect as planned is essential! Love this. Question- what was your Raptor’s iso ‘range’ for the night concert shots to get clean darks as well as highlights? Awesome work!
Nice one Brandon, enjoyed this video. I tried getting a Raptor earlier this summer but the cost just wasn’t worth it. You have the projects they justify it but here in Ireland I just wouldn’t have that work.
First of all THANK YOU for your always kick ass content! Now the question I have is do you think the Komodo could have handled the concert footage in particular? Would it have looked similar…decent at least? What do you think?
The more i watch your video, the more I want to move in the RED ecosystem. Could you make a video about what workstation setup you are using, especially to deal with the 8K resolution. Mostly what kind of storage are you using to store all those big files. Thank you
your the best and so inspiring, please i always see this white backdrop in most studio and when am searching for it online its hard to find, please can you help me where i can find it?
Using the Ronin 2 without the crossbar is about the most dangerous thing you could do with it. No safety, and terrible stabilization due to the top weight of the camera creating play in the baseplate. That's why the footage is so shaky. Also, you can damage the Ronin... Your team should be more careful!
Cheap Propaganda. It's ok to use any tool one desires, but this entire piece is a bad infomercial about RED. Sure no other camera would have able to produce those clips, right? Which is why we don't use REDs in the EU (too unreliable, no proper professional support).
