After being off RU-vid for over two years, I felt strongly to come back and create this video. I wanted to share why I stopped traveling as a digital nomad, how the transition home to the United States has been, why I started traveling in the first place and what is the future of the Patmax Adventures RU-vid channel. This was not an easy video to create, but it has been such a big release for me. Thank you to all of you who have watched and supported the channel throughout the years! Your love and support allowed me to share my journey with the World. I hope this video helps and inspires others out there that want to or are living the digital nomad life style. This is my story...

I will always be a digital nomad at heart. Home is just another base to work from and I still work at a random coffee shop or lobby whenever required.

Thank you for your honesty! Change is the only constant factor in life so please do not feel obligated to maintain who you were. Also, we all are running away from something in life, not just you. For example, surfing the web and watching RU-vid videos are activities that I do to run away from my own mind. Hope you have a great beginning to a new journey!!

Hi Patrick! I am Paul I don't know if you will remember me but I met you on a random, mundane morning in a small guesthouse near BGC in Manila a few years back. I want you to know that some of your adventures as Patmax especially in Central Asia, helped fuel my imagination and my desire to see more of the world. Life’s in stages. I travelled from 19 to 26. Traveled through 15 different countries. Hit 26 and said…I want a home. No park benches, hostels, or couches. It’s that simple

It was off Malapascua island in the Philippines. It’s actually not a sunset, but a sunrise. Was going out for an early dive that day. Great to end the video sailing into the sunrise 😊

Hi Patrick, Please don't feel sorry for speaking the truth. It's common for people to run away from problems instead of dealing with issues like mental health, depression, addiction, and anxiety. However, doing the inner work is essential because external things cannot fix internal issues. No amount of traveling, relationships, money, or material possessions will solve these issues. I strongly suggest looking into psychedelic therapy (you can thank me later). Sending you love from Pakistan. Cheers

Don't be sad. There may be more to come. Put effort into your relationships where you are. Best wishes for your business. I agree with you completely that travel may be running from one's problems, but also that this is sometimes good. Some wisdom there! I, on the other hand, am stuck in frigid Indiana. I want to travel but I can only do it rarely. In the United States, I wish to live in a warmer climate, like where I grew up. Like Paul, I want to travel the world on a mission. I know I will. The money will come. I know. God has a place for me here, and there. It won't be all fun because I'll be going to Africa and northern Canada. He knows I have to deal with reality, first, as you are doing. Live life, to the Max! 😊
