just because you're not IItian and IIm alumni it doesn't mean you only deserve one thing and that is work like a slave. first free your slave from your mental slavery otherwise no-one will ever help you. Don't be toxic towards yourself
Thanks a lot for letting us know the reality of consulting from your experience all these years... Pls continue to do.... All the best for future endeavors!!!
Question from a fresher: After 8 - 10 years at MNC does the work load increase or decrease? Do you people easily keep up with the energy required if work load doesn't decrease?
I have recently been researching on top female in business in India like Manisha Girotra, Falguni Nayar or a top corporate lawyer like Zia Mody. Goes without saying, these are folks who have had 20 hr workdays all their career. Interestingly when they talk about their careers in talk shows they take pride in the long hours and even justify them on the grounds that those are the hours they have made them what they are today and are the reason why 1000s of people are eagerly listening to their talks in the first place. As someone with PCOD in my early 20s, working 20 hrs to be successful is health wise impossible. Do you think balancing reasonable hours of work and also enjoying life (like travel) is okay? I'd like your take on this as I aspire to a very comfortable (moneywise) and successful career but may not be able to sustain such a lifestyle. I ask you this as I want to know how you have all these years managed such long hours and also enjoyed life like travelling etc? Also, did you ever feel when you boarded a flight to an exotic destination for eg that it justified those excruciating hours and accept that the world is very hard and one cannot take it easy?
Wow!! @Insider Gyaan! I can relate to the facts about switching from a BIG org to a startup and the cultural shift and ownership part as I recently did so! Also, so agree to the learning & growth part as well! Congratulations & Good luck Soumi!! 👍🏻😄
OMG , you have summed it up for me ... working as a senior consultant in a Big 4.... Im just 4 months into it and just overwhelmed with the kind of work coming to me
I’m really on the edge of getting into tv serial’s worried as my parents are not allowing. They want me to become someone like you. That’s so frustrating as seeing the future is not in our hands. You don’t know what’s best for you I’m worried of regretting something in future. Sorry for this unexpected comment 😝
I have always liked your video about your expression , convincing way of speaking. Whatever points are expressed in your video , it is actually good to follow in our real life. Hope every one enjoys your video.
Taking a WILD WILD guess....... Is it Program/Project/Product Management role that you've taken ??? I follow lot of Product/Project ppl on RU-vid that a large portion of them came from Consulting
Wish you all the best for your future endeavors. With the info you have given, I am assuming you would be handling growth/strategy role of a small to mid size emerging company. anyways, always thankful to you for these amazing, meaningful and insightful videos.

Hi Madam, I am to join a consultanting firm after 4 yrs of industry experience. Please make a video on what to expect and how to navigate in the world of consultanting for someone with no prior background in consulting. Thank you.
Hey can you help me with SIP, I am joining PGP this year, what do consulting companies look for in a candidate, and what are the good sources I can prepare from?
Requesting for a video on "Exit options in Consulting in India". When should one exit consulting(like after how many years) to be able to adjust to the industry they are moving to. I see almost all consultants exit to startup and not big corporate houses, is it because they dont get the opportunity or anything else?
Thank you for letting us know us all the best for the future also can you upload a full-fledged case interview preparation course which covers every aspects i believe there is no youtube channel which has done this
Hi Somi, I'm an IMT Ghaziabad grad with some "age benefits in hand", I don't want to have regrets for not getting into tier -1 B-school so planning to do a second MBA, I would be really delighted if you can make videos on this topic sharing your perspective.
