I think this is huge 😅. Change is the only constant thing and you are definitely allowed to grow. If tomorrow you decide to start teaching us how to build robots, we PIN!! 😂😂🤣❤️❤️
Theres no need to be sad. I will still try to create videos that a beneficial to UI/UX Designers. We are still very much in this together. but thank You.
I think end of the day what matters is where you want to see yourself after a few years. I am a frontend developer who does design as well. But I will say if one wants to become the best version in either of the field then best advice will be stick with 1. Building landing pages is one thing but working on enterprise level application with automation testing, DSA, database, CI/CD, cloud and production issue all these things are part of frontend development only. So better decide what makes you happy end of the day because grass is always greener on the other side and its frustrating everywhere. So, always choose what makes you more happy. All the best..
I was an UXer, then moved to Frontend Development and at the beginning of this year moved back to UX, I just love UX. Good luck with your future career path
you don't go so far front end developer and ux ui are interconnected and complement each other. You're a great person and I've learned a lot from you. Wishing you all the best!"
Thank you for your videos mehn!!! They always do a great thing for me! This might be stressful but I’ll really appreciate if you don’t stop uploading ui/ux designs videos. God bless!!!!
That’s amazing. How long did you do UIUX for? Change is constant and we keep growing. I have started dropping some framer videos. You can check them out. It gets better 🙏
I’m the jack of all trades on our team. I handle both UX/UI and front-end development. My front-end responsibilities are very light, just converting designs to HTML/CSS/JS since our backend technology doesn’t require a front-end framework. I planned to master my front-end career, but I received a good offer for a UX/UI position, which is why I got into this field.
😅😅i am also switching from ui/UX design to webvr/xr development… I mean i love designing but i just want to get into being able to build stuff by myself
I made the switch from a developer to a UIUX designer like 5years ago. Still one of the best decisions I have made career wise. Now I want something else. So it’s cool. As long as you follow your heart and have a plan. Welldone 👍
Although they’re used interchangeably. UIUX design is slightly different from product design. I am a product designer. A product designer isn’t only focused on the users. But this means you must be good at what you do. What do you do now?
@@femijohn In my current role I am a Marketing Creative Director, but my passion is for conversion rate optimization with a history in UX/UI. I believe art is subjective, but design is objective and measurable. The overlap between being marketing minded and user experience driven has allowed me to understand and analyze behavioral psychology in a way that when executed properly, increases revenue and customer satisfaction in simultaneously. It makes one a very valuable asset to CEOs who are feeling stagnant, or unable to grow beyond what they initially built. I am planning a transition into consulting so I can be of value to more brands and businesses per year than I could be as a salary employee.
In as much that you might have your reasons for “quitting “ UIUX, I think this is a very horrible way of communicating your thoughts. What you might have said is “ you are advancing in your skill set to improve your UIUX career” rather than this confessions of yours which happen to sound like you were under duress to say something you weren’t meant to say I hope you learn to communicate your thoughts better and not to derail those who have decided to their career path seriously while connected to you
Anyone who watches my video until the end would understand the message in it. i never talked down on any career path I only shared my thoughts how i saw fit and its okay if you do not like it. you dont have to. cheers!
One year had passed since I shift career from teaching to UI UX design! I always get rejected although I make sure to do my best. Now I don't know should I leave it now, time pass and my age goes useless. Any advice! I'm literally disappointed and don't know what to do.😢
You were teaching UIUX design? That means you must be good at it. It can be difficult getting jobs as it’s a competitive field. But you can’t give up if it’s something you really want. What did you shift to? What do you do now?
@@femijohn No I used to teach English language. Yeah I really want to continue what I've started but it's not easy for me to stay all of this time just seeking. Now I read books, design, and thinking that if I have to come back to what I used to do and forget this year! For I need an actual work. There is nothing you can do for me right now of course but I would like to thank you for your interest asking me!
