Only thing I can think of is dad left mom when she was pregnant with him and he just popped up in their life a day or two before he found out that he was uncircumcised
He put a separate post on this video after reading threads like this one. He said that his father was not around until he was 7. He did not say why. But it would seem that when he was 7, his father started living with them.
I'm sorry no one ever taught you how to care for yourself before your surgery. Thank you so much for sharing your story. So many people need to hear it.
Oh but his Dr. repeatedly gave him proper hygienic instruction on multiple occasions. And told him to stop masturbating until his penis had healed. He made a person choice to disregard those instructions GO BACK AND WATCH THE VIDEO AGAIN. IF YOU DOUBT WHAT I SAY.
I don't know man. I would think that washing properly is not something that someone has to tell you or show you how to do other than when you are a child. If you smell anywhere it's a sign you need to do a better job of cleaning that area. I understand that was difficult for him due to his phimosis, which makes it all the more obvious why he needed to get circumcized.
Believe it or not, but in the USA a lot of doctors don't have the faintest clue on how the penis works. They even tell young boys to forcibly retract the foreskin instead of "only clean what is seen" like the rest of the world.
@testtest-fn7sk 05:20 he admits that the Dr. gave him creams and a cleansing routine... but I couldn't stop masturbating to let it heal. (this guy had done entire videos about his Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.) He made a conscious decision to not follow the Dr.s' instructions to heal the chronic infection he had now self imposed. The only was to cure him was to do a circumcision, because he himself realized he could not stop masturbating long enough to heal the recurring infection. (I guarantee you, until your circumcision is fully healed, you will not masturbate. too painful. Per his own words, the Dr went over the advantages and disadvantages of surg. and HE a Man of the age of Majority decided to sign his name on the dotted line after intensely googling it....so he was an informed consumer/Patient and now he is blaming the Doctor for buyer's remorse. Sometimes, I wonder how many foolish people there are in the world until ones like him and yourself come along to reaffirm my thoughts.
I am not circumcised and decided that my son should not be circumcised. Your a brave young man discussing this subject on YT. That fact shows you are more of a man than you might think .... all credit to you. This should be discussed if not at home then during sexual education at school. Well done young man for your bravery to discuss this subject (men's business).
I DON'T REGRET GOT CIRCUMCISED AT ALL MY TWICE SONS PLEASE I MADE THAT DECISION FOR THEM. HOW DID KNOW....? SIMPLE THEY DISCUSSED WITH ME FOR HOURS MANY TIMES. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. 1-ALWAYS EXTREMELY. CLEAN ( DON'T SAY SHOULDN'T GET SHOWER). 2-NCIRCUMCISED ALWAYS SMELLS, CLEANING CONSTANTLY EACH TIME YOU GO TO..... 3-MOST OF GF,FRIENDS LACK OF HYGIENE ( UNCIRCUMCISED). 4- I NEVER HAD ANY SORROW AFTE I HAD SORROW. 5 - MY DAUGHTER SAID CANNOT STAND UNCIRCUMCISED GROUP FOR LACK OF HYGIENE. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
if your into sensitive doing some s*xual stuff, then dont circumcised BUT MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN IT THROUGHLY cause its disgusting medically speaking if you dont.. if your into hygiene on-the-go, then getting into circumcision is a better since its fully expose and easily be cleaned(without the effort).. if your concern is additional sensitivity, then we have lubricants, gels, lotions, water, all that stuff.. its accessible. So for people discouraging about not-to-get circumcision because of Fcking RELIGION thing, GTH!.. Religion should not be a basis of one's decision
Congrats for talking this so openly on youtube and telling your experience for others to know. This is a very important topic that sadly is not taught to us when little boys. In my case I discovered my self and did my own exercises around 13 y.o. and investigated on my own, nobody told me what to do. Now I'm glad I never had the procedure. Thank you for sharing man!
There's teaching...and then there's watching your 7 year old son pee (weird), somehow not know he wasn't circumcised (how tf can a father not know that), and grabbing his dick and starting to mess around with it to "teach" him something. What the actual F. I knew everything I needed to know before I slept with someone at 14, and somehow my parents magically achieved that without touching my Fcking dick. How are more people not pointing out how weird his dad is
As a circumcised male I completely respect your opinion on not wanting to be circumcised. I would really love to see how being uncircumcised affects me so that I can get a real opinion on which I prefer. I think that all men should have the right to choose if they want to be circumcised or not. It is completely unfair for men to be forced by their parents to be circumcised.
You are the only person that has to live with your body for the rest of your life. It’s your body, not your parents. You do not have to let this happen. Do not put yourself in a position of doing something to please somebody else that you may regret long after anybody else has forgotten.
@@luchbernardez1089 i have experienced circumsition and after the prosedure it really hurts for 1 weeks so good luck and before the doctor cut. He sticks three needles on all sides and it hurts and the worst of all i am awake during the operation
Circumcision are mostly a religious edict... especially the Monotheistic religions.// where those parents who forced kids to be circumcised...while still a baby... tue?
100% that is my main point. no one should be able to decide this unless it is for real medical reason. Should be left up to the person that the penis is attached to.
My uncut uncle joined the Navy right out of high school in 1950, and and spent a LOT of time in the sea near Japan. He was FORCED to get 'cut' (along with all his fellow uncut shipmates) by his commanding officer - since it was felt that when the guys got 'shore leave', they'd all go visit prostitutes, and that uncut guys were more likely to contract an STD. I've read the foreskin contains thousands of VERY sensitive nerves, and it protects the HEAD of the penis from the rubbing of the diaper, underwear, etc. - keeping 'it' ALSO very SENSITIVE. My uncle was 20 years older than me, and he told me that allowing them to do that surgery was one of the worst mistakes he ever made in his life, since masturbation was NEVER as pleasurable after he was 'cut', and since he WAS gay, there never WAS any chance he was ever going to go into any 'whorehouses' in Japan anyway LOL By the way, I'm uncut myself, one of only three out of about 35 in my phys-ed class (we still had the gang showers - post gym class in the '60's) and my Dad was uncut also, and my parents taught me from a VERY EARLY AGE how to properly BATHE - EVERYTHING, including retracting my foreskin and washing 'it and the head' WELL with soap and water and MAKING certain to flush ALL the soap residue before getting out of the tub. Instead of getting cut, I believe your doctor COULD have done a minor surgery, and made a few SMALL cuts 'into just the opening edge of your foreskin', allowing it TO 'fully retract painlessly', and yet STILL letting you RETAIN the coverage and PLEASURE OF the FORESKIN you were born with - and MEANT TO HAVE !!!.
This is the first time I have heard of you and actually came across your videos by accident. You should be commended for being so open and honest. You have helped many young guys dealing with the same issues.
Yeah seriously this must have been hard to talk about. I think it needs to be talked about more. I don't have a son but if I did it would have been a huge argument because I don't believe in circumcision unless the person is grown and chooses it themselves. What a grown adult wants to do with their own body is their choice!
@@purpledodecahedron7169 imma be getting mines soon I cant wait. No more rejection from girls no more infections. My older brother had his done years ago
You are a very wise man, I appreciate you courage and honor for passing on this valuable lesson especially for those who are not guided by informed parents
In my country, the air is incredibly nasty, water is nasty, even the environment is nasty, I had a cousin that argued with his parents to not be circumcised, and when he was 15, his glans and foreskin got a infection. Since I am circumcised, it has been really useful in my countries terrible conditions. But if they are doing It, even the environment is completely safe, or if the penis has 0% infection, I'm against.
yeah medical journals are lying you don't need to do it as a prophylactic "Balanoposthitis is common. It may affect between 12% and 20% of uncircumcised children, adult males and people assigned male at birth. Children most often have balanoposthitis between the ages of 2 and 5. About 35% of adults who have diabetes have balanoposthitis"
Jewish doctors with strong personal opinions advising naive young parents to go though with surgery.. Wrong, Wrong, so wrong. Parents have No right at all to implement such surgery on a tiny human being literally days old. Best is to wait until the boy reaches the age of at least 18. Until then from at least the start of puberty both parents should show the child how to take care of personal hygiene & how to avoid a build up of smegma ( cock cheese),sorry, by washing the area, drying it & applying baby oil. If Phimosis is detected the skin can be dilated with medical procedures.
For anyone that says there is no difference in sensation.... Its literally SIMPLE MATH. If you have one WHOLE something and you take away X amount of it, you will ALWAYS have LESS of the item in question. It will never be equal or more.. This applies to nerve endings as well.
Sensation goes away in the part you take off, obviously, but other areas then become more sensitive due to new exposure. A lot of men claim that it feels 'too sensitive' after procedure, and thus learn to adapt to their new sensations in time.
as an uncircumcised had an experiment. opened the end for a month and left it like this. it was a nightmare to walk like this. cloth painfully rubs the most sensitive part. it gets scratched, red as if inflammation is on its way. eventually sensitivity decreased so much that the sensations during coitus were so low and limited that it became no near to what i used to experience. way more difficult to enjoy. after completion of the experiment the sensitivity was recovering very long time. i ll never wish to go through this and willingfully reduce my sensitivity, especially by circumcision. and for what? foreskin does not bother, why would i? it protects the most sensitive part. i have water and soap, i live in a civilized country, not in a desert. there was no difference in hygiene before and during experiment. you anyway should wash it, right. so what's the difference whether you have foreskin or not. just go and wash it. pull skin back and wash. no problem. to wash ass nobody cuts buttocks, right, just because they make it more difficult to wash sphincter. to see with eyes nobody cuts their eylids, right. you just open them and see. also, if back to the topic of pleasure. if a couple wants to bring pleasure to each other, foreskins of clitoris or penis only help with it. who would prefer direct rubbing of the most sensitive parts open and by harsh skin of hands compared to gentle careful foreskin movement if there is a special protection for them - foreskin. no lubricant needed. all parts are involved. no harm expected. you can procede even for the whole night. and also in individual process. isn't it going with just skin movement up and down? and how to move it along the very end if someone came and cut the skin for this part? why should one avoid the most sensitive part if it's designed for the biggest sensation. then why didn't we completely remove the ability to move any bit of skin there to leave only one possible option - to rub along surface. let's remove the whole lot. why partially. it's only mutilation, telling you. absolutely pointless, cruel and barbaric. why do this if there's no medical need for. mutation when really doctor says circumcision is the only option. then fine. folks, big pharma in your countries simply makes money on your babies. nothing more. in the most barbaric way. and your letting them. we don't need this in my country and we re completely fine with this. not a native english speaking one.
You're the man !! Almost no one has the guts to say the things you said! You didn't care about being embarrassed you just wanted to enlighten others! Hats off to you for that man !! 🙏🙏 Subscribed right away!
You guys do know that you can get your foreskin back after you are circumscised. My neighbor had problems with his foreskin so some doctors advised him to get cut. After two years of being cut he hated being cut. A friend of his told him what to do. After about a year he got his foreskin back.
Dude, props for being so open and honest. If more people were willing to share like this a lot of people would be helped because they would see that someone else has gone thru what they're going thru the that person's experience can help them get thru it. Good on you!
Thank you for being brave enough to share your story with everyone here. You’re helping spread the facts about this crime against humanity to those innocent infants who don’t actually have a voice to decide. I commend you for your honesty for the masses to take in and take to heart.
Idk How This is A Crime Since In Me i Didn't even cry being circumsized at a young Aged I Don't really have beef on uncircumcised people but being circumsized can be more cleaner and avoid high risk of aids
This should be watched by all men of any age where they can take it as far as the medical complications, and that masturbation not only healthy, but not a sin.
I'm Christian and never considered masturbation as a sin, it doesn't even say so in the Bible either. I believe it's a way of relieving stress and frustration for both sexes. Only if it becomes addicting then it's a problem. @@GM8101PHX
This is been one of the most informative videos i've found on youtube so far, I've looking up frenuloplasty surgery (which is pretty much adult circumcision) and don't go into great detail about what happens after surgery like video has done so far, thank you very much
Frenuloplasty is not the same as circumcision. The frenum or frenulum is the male "hot spot" (very sensitive - yay) which is often carelessly removed during circumcision. A short frenulum can be one reason why the foreskin can't be retracted fully. Too long a subject to discuss here but there's lots of info on the net.
Good video man. I feel like people try to shame this kind of conversations but its nothing to be ashamed about . It should be normal to talk this stuff.
I was circumcised late, for a kid, around 4 or 5. Sucks a little worse because I was conscious while they were preparing me. I remember the whole drive, pulling into the lot, getting set down and wondering what was going on. What I don't remember is what it looked or felt like after the surgery. When I bring it up to my Mom and express my resentment, she says I had to get it because I had an infection. Probably because no one in our culture ever deals with cleaning it, since its chopped right away. So the doctor, of course, recommends circumcision. Only thing I lucked out on is that I got it in a first world country and was put under. They told me that they were planning to have it done in our country of heritage, where the ceremony is done in public, no anesthesia. and very traumatizing. All in all, though, I'm 100% against it. Vile, outdated practice that should only be the last resort with medical issues.
Well, women get infections too, so your mom's logic is really dumb. We don't cut off our labia when we get a yeast infection. Yeast infections are very common you can get them easily by being sweaty from running track.
I often hear that American doctors treat any kind of infection with a circumcision instead of, oh, I don't know, what the rest of the world uses: ANTIBIOTICS for crying out loud.
Same experience for me. I was circumcised at 9. I remeber everything. Surgery before and after. Wish they never did it. My mom says i had a problem. I dont remember that. I do remember being told to how to clean it and take care of it. And that it had a different color and texture.
bro thank you so much for being brave and making this video. this helped me a lot and I’m sure it helped a lot of other people that had the same experience as you
As a mother I couldn't do that to my son. I always felt it was his decision to change his body not mine. Thank you for this video, your honesty and courage to speak about this. I appreciate this discussion. Thank you !!
Circumcision is a procedure to promote better hygiene and lower risk of genital health complications. It isnt done just for sexual purposes or body modification. Unlike hormonal swap or SRS
I have a friend who's natural foreskin is so short no one might have ever known he was uncircumcised. So a lot of guys aren't just cut or not cut. A certain percentage of boys have your exact situation in their teen years. I have always imagined that it is a very painful few weeks of recovery and even longer to adapt. Thanks for letting other young men who may have the same issues. This will help them to make their own best choices or adaptations.
I compliment the young man’s courage and honesty in discussing in detail subjects most men of any age, especially younger men, would hide under the bed to avoid discussing! You’re amazing! Thank you very much.
Your honesty and frankness is admirable. Well done! Thank you for sharing something that should be discussed as well as you did. Thank you! (Here, circumcised. Have a buddy with painful overly-tight foreskin and he cannot keep it clean, so he's considering his options. Personally, thought he can talk with several doctors about a simple concept of making a small incision to open, with out removal).
Interesting to hear your experience. I am a woman, psychiatrist, psychotherapist and sex counselor. I have lived ( 60 years) in a culture in Northern Europe where circumcision is very rare and only the Jewish and Muslims are practicing it. I am _very sorry_ so many boys grow up without proper guidance from adults and are treated by uneducated doctors. It is totally possible to keep male genitals clean and healthy au naturel. Meeting a circumcised man (American, of course), I just could not understand why he had to give away a fun part of himself as a baby. Have you guys ever thought how many doctors make their daily bread like that? Many people here in my medical community think it is a form of child abuse to remove a healthy foreskin. Phimosis can be treated surgically without removing the foreskin. It is much more safe to prevent STDs by using condoms than removing the foreskin. I can think of only two instances I would have had it done to my son: 1. Paraphimosis means that when the foreskin is tight it can get stuck behind the glans. If no conservative treatment (lidocaine gel, lubricants etc) is successful the foreskin must go to save the penis. 2. There are skin conditions (scleroderma) that can alter the skin structure so much it causes trouble. 3.At old age, there can be tumors that need to be removed. Condylomas can be prevented by other means than circumcision. 4. Accidental traumas 5. If there is serious malformations of the anal region or loss of skin due to burns, the foreskin can be used as a skin graft. You made a good point by saying it does not feel natural when the foreskin is no longer there and you give good advice to your fellow men. Do your research, everybody, and when in trouble, I hope you can find an experienced doctor who can inform you well so you can decide what to do.
He didn't "give away a fun part of himself as a baby". Most circumcised men have a lot of carefree fun just the same.. and with giving oral, many have no taste for smegma. Maybe you do.
As a kid I felt uncomfortable about being uncircumcised because most other guys were. But then I saw the statue of David and felt much better that I shared something in common with that wonderful work of art lol now I think what’s natural is what’s best and I would never change it to fit in to whoever’s “ideals”
An honest and courageous account of a very personal, yet human, experience. Why take away what is a natural part of the male anatomy? He is right, it is there for a reason. Thank you very much Ozzy for speaking about this.
I agree with you whole heartedly and the individual should be able to make a decision regarding whether to have a circumcision when he’s old enough to decide for himself. Thank you so much for telling about your personal experience. I’m sure it was very difficult,
This video should have a hundred times more views since it is so well done and educational. When I was young, I experienced something similar. Hygiene and sexuality are often avoided in education and we learn the hard way at our expense. In my case, the problem was that I wasn't aware the skin could be pulled, so I never really washed it. The consequence, other than hygiene, was that the skin "fused" on the head. One day I was at the doctor for another reason and the doctor took a look and told me about the problem and the solution. That day, I learned. It took around a full year for me to gradually pull it and clean it to the full range so that the skin wasn't stuck on the head. The process was painful like ripping apart the skin, so I was doing a little more each time. At the end, things turned really good and during my teenage years I had a lot of fun with myself. In the past, I tried to keep the skin pulled and what happens is that the head gets dry and becomes more "rough"/less sensible like a more regular skin. Very good video. Thanks for sharing your experience with confidance. I know it is not an easy topic (even though it should be).
Young man, I don’t often leave messages but I feel I should tell you how wonderful it is that you got on film and opened up to other men wether old or young and very openly and detailed. I applaud you for so unselfishly sharing your story, you just might help hundreds if not more. God bless you🙏🏻. I pray you continue to feel well and have a complete and satisfying sex life🙏🏻.
I agree! I have never left any message but … I couldn’t just stay quiet ❤ So amazed by your maturity and courage to talk about this. Only shows how amazing you are for helping other young men ❤
I just want to say Thank You so much for sharing your story. Because you have helped my two UNcircumcised sons by giving me, the information as a parent,so I can decide on what I should do.
I grew up in the UK and wasn't circumcised and didnt really hear much about it until I moved to the US at age 32 and found that most men here are circumcised. The thing I remember now is my mother used to remind me to pull my skin back and wash underneath it in the bath (we had a bath and not a shower growing up). Turns out that was good advice as I can still retract my foreskin easily to wash underneath and I am in my 60's now :). I used to try pulling my skin back and leaving it back to see how it would feel to be circumcised and my penis was so sensitive in my underwear that I couldn't handle the head rubbing against my clothes. I am grateful for the protection of my foreskin and so I am super grateful that my parents didnt have me circumcised - it just seems so unnatural to me. Clearly nature provided the foreskin for a reason. Anyway, kudos for you discussing this as a young guy! Super brave!
Excellent, intelligent, and honest discussion that needs to be expressed in our repressed society. When I was born, my mother's doctor was Italian, and when she asked him if she should circumsize me he urged her not to. He said, signora, it's a silly and unnecessary American practice. I thankfully am intact, and have no issue retracting my foreskin. If I don't wash my toes, they will smell. I don't think it would be wise, however, to have them cut off.
@@bjpbuildingconstruction FYI, Ameria is non existent when circumcision was being done. Just saying... why did the Ilaian thought is was American way... just saying
Circumcision is not a big deal. It has a lot of benefits to it. Example, circumcision makes it easier to clean down there and keep it clean. Circumcision prevents diseases and infections. Circumcision does not affect male sexual pleasure since males don't even have that much sexual pleasure to begin with. Females have a lot more sexual pleasure than males do. A female's orgasm is 10 times strong as a male's is. Females have far more nerve receptors on her body and clitoris. She feels more sensitivity than males do as a whole. Females can keep orgasming endlessly. Males orgasms are shorter than females. Females produce and release more oxytocin than males do and oxytocin increases intensity of orgasms. Estrogen is a precursor to oxytocin. The more estrogen your body has, the more you release oxytocin and reap its benefits the more intense the orgasms are. A female under MRI during an orgasms show trance like brain while males do not show that intensity and their orgasms a quick while females orgasms are very long. Females vocalize and squirm and make pleasurable faces involuntarily due to extreme intense pleasure. It’s very clear females experience orgasms far more intensely than male do. This is a known, scientific biological fact. Female orgasms are known to feel better and more intense than male orgasms. Do your research, females vagina has more nerve endings than the male penis. The female clit alone has 10,000 nerve endings (or more) compared to 4,000 nerve endings in the male glans and foreskin. Women literally feel 2x the pleasure and sensation than men do. It’s a fact, do your research google is free. Also women don’t give up on the sex, it’s the men that do but everyone’s experience is different. Women can even experience orgasm multiple times whereas men it’s usually just once which seems boring and not pleasurable at all. Here's a quote from actress Lizzy Caplan: "The female body is far better equipped for sex than the male body. Women can have multiple orgaasms: men cannot. They're actually the sexual athletes, not the men."
I am a first time mother to a beautiful baby boy. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings on this. My boy will stay fully intact until he decides that for himself, it's his body and it's not my choice. I want him to know that I respect his bodily autonomy and that it's his body and his choice!
Most people that grow up uncircumcised will stay that way unless there is a medical need to do it. I understand it is quite painful as you heal for a week or two and that scares people considering it. If it isn't so tight that it chokes the penis and the boy learns to keep it properly clean he will probably live his entire life that way. I have known two people who had it done late in life due to it being too tight.
When parents don't have it done, It's not really an "option" for later in life. It's only done later in life if it's absolutely needed for medical reasons (like for this guy), because the scars are bad, chafing problems, and the pain and embarrassment, so doing it young is the best option It grows nicer being done before puberty with minimal scaring. It's a parents choice but I'd definitely choose to do it, I'm gay and know both types intimately, one is very clean and resists disease, the other is funky, dirty, and dangerous even if you keep it clean it's a love nest for bacteria, there's a reason the military used to enforce it. I think its a silly choice to keep it however its a free society and you get to decide.
@@brad9529 my dear, that's your opinion and what you got inside your head because of what you've been told and I'm sorry but it's not so bad to keep it, first because it's what nature gave you and nature is wise and there's a reason why it is there, and second it's not a nest for bacteria, you're expose down there to many things even though if you don't have it because it's a protection for your penis. If you keep it clean there's no problem (don't believe everything you hear). It must be an option for any men because it's his body.
He's right when he said that even doctors can get it wrong and that they don't all think the same. Thats why its always good to get perspectives. This was pretty educational actually
Especially with the nature of the procedure. Because most surgeries happen at birth there isn't much good data to compare personal experience before and after. The CDC says all these good things in their abstracts but the data doesn't seem to lead to their conclusion. It should be a choice and not compulsory or forced on kids.
You're a courageous man for speaking to essentially the whole world about this topic which is so personal to you. You are perhaps the one best qualified to write the book.
Great work Ozzy, that is one brave and fantastic video. I can identify with all of it. As a young boy, I too suffered from phimosis and an absence of parental help. I had no-one to talk to, so I suffered for many years until age 15 when one day I manage to pull back my foreskin for the first time but then couldn't retract it and my penis was being strangulated. My parents took me to the doctor and I was immediately operated on to release the foreskin. That was successful but for all of my life I wanted to be circumcised like nearly all the other boys in Australia. Girls at that time preferred circumcised penises and thought that foreskins were "yucky"! At age 22, after much research, consideration and in consultation with my doctor, I decided to get circumcised. Yes, there was much soreness and some revision surgery to follow but when all of that had passed I was very happy with the result. Some sensitivity was of course lost and erections were not as spontaneous, but on the up-side (if you'll excuse the unintended pun) I had more control over my penis during sex and no longer suffered from premature ejaculation. I am now 78 years of age and my circumcised penis has served me well. However, I am not an advocate of circumcision. In fact, I am dead-set against it except for men when they are mature enough to make that decision for themselves. It should be illegal for parents or others to circumcise boys at birth or as a child. And now for some good advice "If you're not sure, don't do it!"
Thank you for giving the advice that this should be left for the child to decide later in life. That is absolutely correct. I've heard parents say "Well, then he won't have it done" - which in a way says it all. Your father should have shown you how to keep yourself clean from an early age. I've heard that the foreskin is highly innervated (has many many nerves) and removing those nerves diminishes pleasure. Here in California the practive of circumcision is dying out. Most of the younger guys at my gym retain their full natural bodies. Let's hope this unnecessary and useless practice goes totally away. I am sorry for your loss.
As someone who also was circumsized at 19 after leaving home for college, I can understand your experience. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure there are others who will benefit from this knowledge.
Thank you so much for telling it like it really is. My ex husband was circumcised at birth and had almost no feeling in his penis because the head was rough and dried out. He had to work hard to reach a climax, which was painful and unpleasant for me. The intact partners with foreskins since my divorce have had very sensitive penises and the sex has been very gentle and sensual. Two men I know, had circumcisions as adults, and the feeling went down to 10% of what they originally had. They both restored their foreskins with restoration involving stretching methods. One got back 50% of the feeling he had, but the other one was cut right behind the head, so there was no foreskin remnants to stretch and he didn't get as much feeling, but having the stretched skin covering the head has made it more sensitive by keeping the head covered which keeps it moist like it should be. I get very annoyed when the so called "experts" say circumcision stops all those diseases. At one stage the highest death rate for men and women in the USA was AIDS and at the time, 95% of the adult men born there were circumcised.
The STD studies they reference were also done in Africa in some less than ethical ways and are questionable in their conclusions. Especially considering the practice was already well-established for cultural and religious reasons, it seems to me like they just wanted to confirm their existing biases with 'science'. Entire continents are uncircumcised and there is no substantial difference in STD rates compared to the US. Most of the difference comes from education, not getting cut up.
Complete BS lol. Mine was aslo cut at birth and has never had any issues with sex or his penis, comments like these are all anti-cutting propaganda. I will not hear it. I understand the importance of consent but I know stories like this are just meant to scare men.
Thank you for your bravery, sharing your experience on this painful subject. I'm sorry to hear you received pressure to have the 'cut' although I'm glad you were at least an adult when this was done. "Cleanliness" has always come across as a specious argument to me. We don't cut off our toes to avoid toe-jam, our nostrils to avoid boggies or our outer ears to avoid ear wax. We wash them and we teach our children to do the same. It is sad that involuntary male genital mutilation is imposed on Jewish and Muslim infants and children, based on scriptural interpretations. What I find really puzzling is why, in that crazy country, the US of A, over 90 per cent of non-Hispanic white males suffer neo-natal genital mutilation. Over 100 years ago it was practiced in a vain attempt to reduce or stop the practice of masturbation. Now it is recognised that masturbation and ejaculation are essential to help maintain a healthy prostate, circumcision should be actively discouraged.
Thank you so much for sharing!! You are very mature and thank you for helping other young adults because that is such a common problem in young boys! So God bless you ❤
Great vid. I have a dad who is Mexican and was not circumcised. Me and my brothers were born here in the states and they just took it upon themselves to circumcise all of us. I would never have done this. This is something I said over and over. I never had the CHOICE. I really feel those doctors did us a disservice. Everything you said about being circumcised is true. It is rougher in texture and requires a ton more stimulation.
I agree with you, I was circumcised as a child and I absolutely hate that the choice was taken from me. I would have NEVER done it, it was a complete violation by doctors to do this to so many baby boys. I am really hoping Foregen will be successful soon and can regenerate the foreskin using stem cells.
Should be able to sue doctor for Sexual assault on a minor, physical harm buy cutting foreskin off, torcher no anicetic often damaging the knob and willing cause physical pain without persons consent mate.
Jose, I practiced for 30+ yrs. I was a Med. Missionary to 3 Latin Countries. You would not believe the high rate of infections from the uncircumcised Latino Population. Very few uncircumcised males actually know how to properly clean under their foreskin. The SMELL is nauseating to those around them. They themselves grow used to the smell and tend to think it is normal. In my career I have placed well over a thousand urinary catheters in Men here in the US. so it is not a cultural thing with Latinos only. Before placing the catheter one must pull back the foreskin cleanse the penis, retracted foreskin, penis head and opening as well and the scrotum. Otherwise risk internal infections. I seldom found intact men (from every walk of life) who had proper penis hygiene. Most had a build up of Smegma (oils, dead skin cells, sebaceous secretions, and old sperm and urine marinating in the warm environment under the moist foreskin.). First of all much of what you presented is not correct. At least one Parent must sign a legal consent for a boy to have a circ at birth or anytime before age 18. The Hospital, nor the Dr. can perform the circ. without it. The legal term is ASSAULT. You are highly misinformed when you say "they just do it without asking." As proof of this you yourself signed such a consent before your Surg. at 19 yrs. If you did not read what you were signing before surg. that is on you legally. You had a very serious case of Phimosis (Fi-moe-sis) with redundant infections and irretractable foreskin. It is easy to say that now you would just have properly cleaned under your foreskin instead of the Circ. You were repeatedly given proper instructions and by your own words you just decided to stop following the Dr.'s advice and instructions and ended up having repeated infections and strangulation. Some men have actually strangulated the end of their penis to the point it has to be removed. That is what happens when the foreskin retracts partially when the penis is in a softened state. An Erection happens and the constricted end of the phimotic foreskin acts like a hangman's noose trapping the end of the penis without a proper blood supply. That is an emergency situation and the usual treatment is to gently cut a line in the end of the foreskin until the band of tissue permits restoration of the vital blood supply that has been cut off. To not have had a circumcision in your case would have been bad medical advice since you had already proven that you would not properly care for your penis and could not stop masturbating to allow proper healing. So, what do you do now... you blame the surgeon for your lack of character to have provided proper hygiene that would have temporarily taken care of the Phimosis. In your case, your Med. History clearly shows that this was already a recurring problem (even if you had proper hygiene instruction... you failed to provide the needed care. As a physician the only medically sound advice in your situation was given to you and now you have buyer's remorse (that prevented future danger to you penis) and you want to strike out at the Dr. for providing sound and medically correct information to you and left the final decision up to YOU!! Those are the real facts, proven from nearly 4,000 years of the practice of Circumcision that became widely used at first in the Jewish Community when God made a covenant with Father Abraham to circumcise male babies on the 8th day after birth. I am not Jewish by the way and Muslims as descendants of Abraham through Ishmael have also practiced circ. in the same time period. I have been called to the ICU when nurses have pulled back a phimotic foreskin to bath unconscious men and the penis turned blue and cold. I was always successful in returning the foreskin back over the head of the penis, BUT THAT IS NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE. I now expect to hear from non-medical personnel with a myriad of non-physiologic reasons why I am wrong. I AM NOT WRONG. So if you choose to argue the Medical Facts you had better have an MD after you name and personally have dealt with Phimotic Patients in a clinical medical setting. Read the Published facts directly from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) if you do not believe me. They have compiled the latest Medical Facts and published a position paper. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20938437/ Here is the video regarding the ShangRing circumcision device. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dzvJik_qt1g.html
Dude... I cringed thru this. BUT you display a confidence and courage in sharing and hopefully you hear from others that this has helped. Emphasis is that when thinking of doing something of permeance in altering your body, get 2nd and 3rd opinions! Your doctor should be comfortable with you asking for that and even should offer recommendations. The goal is to help empower you with knowledge to make the choice that you feel is best for you. Kudos to this guy for sharing his story!
I also developed phimosis around 20 and was told the standard treatment was circumcision so that's what we did. And it suuuucks. I think at the time steroid cream was a new treatment for phomosis and I wish I'd tried that, but it had become acute at that point and it was painful to even urinate. I couldn't wait to see if a cream would help. When my sisters started having kids, I desperately tried to convince them not to have their sons circumcised, but to no avail. It's weird that parents make this serious medical decision to amputate a part of their children's genitals for aesthetic for religious reasons. Funny story, the old wisdom that you should pull back the foreskin to clean actually caused an epidemic of boys developing phimosis later in life. Doctors would advise parents and the child to forcibly pull the foreskin back to clean, much the same as you described with your dad. But the act of forcing it caused scar tissue, which later became phimosis. When pulling the foreskin back to clean, you should never force it. It sounds like you learned the same lesson I did: when talking to your doctor, you need to ask questions, participate in your care, and advocate for yourself.
@@disisaz I didn't say it was hard to clean. Maybe that's why you're confused - you're reading words I didn't write. I said you shouldn't force the foreskin back when cleaning. You can clean body parts without hurting them.
Guys, regarding the “how could my dad not know I was circumcised” question. He is not my stepdad and he is actually my biological dad. I’m not sure if my dad was present at my birth but he moved in with me, my mom, and sister when I was 7 so he didn’t live us for 7 years.
Dude!! you should be a lecturer for young guys. Sexual problems or anything they mat want to talk to you about. You are so well spoken and you would be a grat help to guys groeing up.
Fortunately I was informed about the importance of pulling my foreskin back at an early age. There were eight boys in my family and none were circumcised. I was a pretty big kid before learning that some boys were circumcised at birth or in their adolescence. The first time I pulled my foreskin back was painful but a lot less painful thereafter. I did it while in the bathtub and cleaned underneath my foreskin for the very first time. That was the last time visible smegma accumulated under my foreskin. Eventually it wasn’t painful at all. I always pulled it back while in the bathtub, that made it easier and I could thoroughly clean the area. Later, every time I urinated and every time I bathed I’d pull it back. I’m 70 years old and it’s habit now; I still pull my foreskin back whenever I urinate and when I shower or take a bath. I understand why circumcision is encouraged but I think it would be best to train young boys to pull their foreskin back at an early age and keep the area clean.
i am an adult man trying to decide whether to be circumcised. it is great you are talking about this. it is great to hear different points of view. i have dithered about this decision for years; i will probably dither for a few more years!
True. But I got my circumcision cause I always wondered what it was like to be circumcised since most of my friends were & how sex would feel. Honestly it actually improved sex for me & my girlfriend. But ik it can be different for others. But I don't regret having it done at all. Wish it was done when I was a baby
Thank you for this most frank and candid discussion. I have a son who is in his late teens. His mother and I did not have him circumcised; thinking that if he wanted it done as an adult, the decision is his. I also believe a boys regular bathing should include cleaning their ears, underarms, butt, feet and under the foreskin along with the rest of their body. It should be a natural part of regular bathing. Also, here in America, we tend to circumcise "just because". I don't believe my father was cut (I accidentally saw him when he was being bathed just before he died), but I was cut. I wish I had not been; which made me decide to not mutilate my son. Yes, there are times when it is necessary but I think generally, boys should be left intact.
@@hanoitripper1809 circumcision is very common in english speaking countries. i know many circumcised british men. i am not certain about men from younger generations, but with men from older generations many were circumcised at birth, very often as boys, and as men.
@@bigcubistman really? I played amatuer club rugby in London for a year and everyone in my team was natural and unmutilated besides the American guy on the team
I made certain that my son was never circumcised. I have a thick Frankston scar on my penis do to a poor circumcision. There is a modified version of circumcision where the head of the penis, just the center is exposed when not erect.. This helps a ton with cleanliness. Everyone needs to know that it is not an all or nothing situation. I wish I was not circumcised as a child. I am glad he is speaking out about the loss of sensitivity. Thank you for being so informative!
Thanks so much for making this video! I am pregnant with a boy and I am not gonna have him circumcised. I get grief and weird looks from people when I tell them but I think you are absolutely right its not my decision. This was really brave of you and I greatly appreciate it.
It is pretty late now, but I am 15 years old and i had the operation 2 days ago. Please circumcise your future children i am close to committing suicide because of the pain.
Well, with so many mom's telling their female friends that they ARE circumcising their sons, why shouldn't she tell her side. Just look at Miranda's comment on Sex In The City when the subject came up: "I am SO circumcising my kids." Typical American prejudice.
Thanks for bringing up an important part of a male's birth. My birth physician told my mother that nature put a foreskin over the penis glans for protection and enhanced sensitivity. Which is the same thing that I learned during my studies at college. I'm a Professor of Research Microbiology so I know what can live under the foreskin of the penis. We Americans earnestly started circumcisions in the 20th century - a bad idea. I never had a problem with Phimosis, but a regimented administration of a particular cream (which has to be recommended by your physician) will loosen your foreskin and allow retraction for proper cleaning and sexual activity. My personal preference is to have my foreskin and not feel pressured by anybody for any reason.
Good thing your mother listened to the physician. Take it from me who got a circumcision in my 40s…..DON’T DO IT!!! I wish I could go back in time and not get that procedure. 😢
Hi Gary. I'm intrigued. I've never seen any American Caucasian men with foreskins, in the locker room. Especially a handsome man like you. Thanks for being honest.
@@aleksa1098it’s some kind of steroid cream, but it didn’t work for me at all,had to get cut, honestly don’t regret it,no more itching,a smell that would make flies run in fear, and uncomfortable tightness!
Up to this day, circumcision was the worst decision of my life .. no matter what i do i will never get back that part of my body. I feel there were sexual emotions in it which extended to my tenderness as a man. The pleasure i experienced when intact was simply exquisite
I give you a lot of respect for speaking so honestly and shamelessly about all of this. I don't think most men would feel so comfortable talking about these issues so openly. I think it's very helpful for other men to hear you talk about it. As a man who was circumcised at birth, I was not completely aware of all the things uncircumcised men have to deal with. I found this very interesting and informative and you have a very relatable presentation style. I still wish that I wasn't circumcised, though. But I'm Jewish, so that was never an option for my parents.
Hi, European point of view here. As a Belgian, it seems we're much more open disussing sexual health issues with our sons, although I'll have to atmit that there's a part of the dads, that leaves this up to the mams to discuss. On to some facts, In Belgium, the doctors are more hesitating performing a full circumsion, in stead, they use the "Z- incision" more often. With a z-incision, you don't need to remove the whole foreskin, but you make a "z" shape cut in it, so you're foreskin has more room going over the head of the penis. It's in most cases a perfectly fine solution for boys or men, who've been suffering from phimosis. Kind regards, and thank you for informing men about there sexual health, it's necessary.
In the US, there is still such a stigma about having a natural (uncut) penis and such lack of knowledge and ignorance. Boys and girls should be taught about their bodies . Doctors and fathers should teach their boys the importace of hygiene, natural retraction which occurs for many inpuberty, and general care. There's no reason for cutting forskins unless theres a medical issue. I have read others who regretted circumcision.
Wow your one brave man to had that done at your age lucky I was cut circumcised when I was born so I don’t remember anything so I can just think what you went through cheers man you did something I would never have done if I were uncircumcised take care and stay well
@@8anewbeginning160 Well it wasn't sexual for the father, but just general ignorance. He wouldn't have known that it's naturally attached until 8 or 9 years of age. No education for the guys about looking after the genitals from when they need to.
@@Mcfreddo The father had no reason or right to interfere with his son's penis, regardless of how ignorant he might have been at the time. It's basic common sense that a grown man shouldn't mess with some else's genitals.
First, thank you for bringing this topic to light on this discussion thread. There are so many people living in the United States that have the circumcision procedure done automatically shortly after the birth of the male child. As for me, I was circumcised shortly after birth (age 60) and I feel that I have been unnecessarily maimed. I have remedied the situation to a degree with exercises in pulling the remaining foreskin for the past 35-40 years, and am happy to say that I have reclaimed approximately 70 percent of the lost foreskin. It's diabolical how in the USA this maiming of male children has gone on unchallenged for so many decades. It's simply evil to rob a person of control over his (or her) body, period. BTW, the insanity of circumcision has been in my family for generations. My late father was circumcised and he was born in 1925. Go figure!
The terrible thing about circumcision is that it creates circumcisers. When circumcised at birth you cannot know what was taken away. You think it's normal and so you allow it for your sons.
Your Dad, (who didn't know you were intact?), should never have yanked your foreskin back. He may have caused your problems. The biggest cause of foreskin issues is premature retraction, usually done by care takers. The foreskin is fused to the head of the penis at birth, and gradually becomes free to retract on its own. The foreskin should be allowed to retract naturally when ready, and not forced. Sometimes retraction may not happen until teen years. Phimosis in adults can be dealt with using much less intrusive remedies without circumcision.
I thought the same thing when he said that. I was like "damn, why the hell would he do that??" I don't even understand the purpose or thought process behind that action.
Thank you for sharing about this! And I agree; every boy, man, male should have this choice to make for themselves. No doctor or parent should rob them of that.
I was circumcised in my early 20's and I grew up in livelihood and people who were circumcised in their early teens and it became demoralizing for my self esteem as well as my confidence.Although I was a shy kid growing up and I would fear going early teens because of the pain and poor unscrupulous region and actually in my late teens I got.a chance to go to the capital Nairobi,Kenya and postponed and decided to do it at my early 20's.That's my story lads!❤
Want to say thank you. I thought I was sure this is what I wanted. But I realized I may just need more "exercise" and "patients" when it comes to natural stretching.
Thanks for this. Our son was born in 1976. My husband is circumcised but he respected my wish to not cut off part of our baby for no good reason. I had a harder time with hospital staff who kept wanting to cut him. Our son remains fine with my decision. Although a majority of American baby boys are still circumcised, a lot fewer are circumcised now than was true when my boy was born.
It's horrible when hospital staff with no relation the the baby child, wants to cut off an important part of the male body in the most private area of the male body without medical reasons, but with lifelong negative consequences for that male human being.
Unfortunately hospitals in the US, at least, have a financial incentive to perform circumcisions, or, without the medical euphemism, routine genital cutting, because for what is a relatively quick procedure for the doctor, they can make a tidy profit, not only for charging you/your insurer for amputating the foreskin, but also then selling the amputated flesh off to companies like those that develop skin creams for an additional profit on top of that, which the owner of the foreskin never even gets compensated for. That's not even mentioning the medical practitioners that might be religiously and/or culturally biased toward it.
Cleanliness is very important. parents need to help their boys learn how to take care of their body properly. You wouldn't have had the issues you had if your parents were more attentive to that cleanliness issue. Also, I agree about babies being circumcised being wrong. I didn't have a choice and I will never know what it could have been like to be uncircumcised.
I was told once by my mother how to clean myself and have done so ever since, you start cleaning from your head down to your toes in that order, also it is important to wash as soon as reasonable after sex this is true for both males and females, and I don't mean you have to jump into the shower immediately after, the next morning is fine, but if you go all the next day without washing then obviously that is not ideal and will lead to problems
Well, It is very encouraging to hear to speak on such a personal subject as circumcision. Bravo to Ozzy. However; I am a 73-year-old grandpa, and i have 3 boys in their adult life. i come from a family of 11 children, and I am the eldest. [ none of my five brothers were circumcised that I know of] I never had my boys circumcised, and no doctor has ever suggested getting my sons or myself circumcised. Going ahead to a time [age 42] when I remarried, and I wanted to get circumcised at the age of 43. That's correct 43. The reason for my personal decision to get this done was that for my entire life up to the age of 43, I have always had issues with the foul smell of uncleanliness under the foreskin, and I had never been able to pull the foreskin back the same as Ozzy. During the operation, I did not feel anything because the doctors desensitized everything, there was mild pain afterward, but not intolerable. I guess at age 43 we view things differently, and everything turned out very well and was mostly healed within 1 week. I will never regret having a nice clean smelling, and healthy penis. There was never any loss of sexual feeling or lack of natural lube. I say go for it if your insurance plan will cover the operation. hahaha.... just a little humor.
I'm from a non-religious American family. My parents foolishly (by recommendation of my ignorant natal doctor) had me circumcised at 2 days old. Babies should never be circumcised. That is horrible. A person can be damaged in many ways by circumcision, and it should be up to the individual whether or not to do it. And the list of so-called benefits are a myth. There are no real benefits...and in my personal opinion, it does not look better. I live with my parents' foolish choice everyday, every time I urinate; every time I have chafing; etc.
Thank you so much for making this video and speaking out. I have been trying to stop people from cutting baby boys for a long time and I hear so often "I know so many men who got circumcised as adults because xyz" and your testimony goes to show that even if you have problems, cutting off a part of your body is still not a good solution
@@alwellus billion men, all Muslim men get circumcised, I did too m an Atheist now, I got mine when I was 2-3 y/o I hate that I had no say in the matter since I was a child
Great video. I also suffered from phimosis when I that age and it really affected my sex life for a long time. Doctor’s recommended that I have a circumcision too, but I refused. I started a process of stretching - first using a special tool that I found on the internet, and then just using my fingers. After a year or so, my foreskin could easily slide back and forth when soft. It’s still a little tighter than average when hard - but I like it that way, so stopped the stretching exercises. I think it’s very unfortunate how quick doctors are to recommend circumcision, when there are other options available. Fortunately it does seem that circumcision is starting to go out of fashion.
