Congrats on the new purchase! Would be interesting to see how the zoom performs for both models in the 2.1 to 4.9x ranges in different scenarios (low light vs well lit scenarios) particularly for video recording. Wasn’t able to find a creator that compares continuous zoom as well during video recording. Many people use the main lens and crop in during post.
@@daytradingking1210 the regular pro has a 6.1 inch display, the pro max has a 6.7 inch display. The max size has a better battery life also 2 hours more.
@@MatthewVlossakI’m in the same position as you and wondering about switching to the Pro, but it seems as though there are a lot of compromises in storage, battery, screen size and camera zoom for £200 difference. However, I do find the Promax really uncomfortable to hold, and causing a bit of hand pain. Did you get this? Is the Pro better value?
@@mjm0787I wouldn’t say the Pro is a better value…It’s a 50/50 split really. The Pro Max gets even more uncomfortable when you add a case no matter how slim it is. Also, the 2x-4.9x zoom on the Pro Max looks like trash bc it’s digital. Only after 5x-9.9x does it look good…But how often are you going to zoom in THAT much? I personally like zooming 2x-4.9x which looks significantly better on the Pro. Yes, the battery on the Pro is less than the Pro Max, but justifying an extra 1-2+ hours on the PM for $200 didn’t seem reasonable to me either.
Visit first time on your channel damn good content & I want switch to change my phone 16 series Soo whats your thought about iPhone 16 pro will come ( 6.3 inch ) & iphone 15 pro is ( 6 .1 inch ) So according to you which one is most perfect & suitable….?
I had both. Returned the Pro Max. The 2x-4.9x zoom was awful bc it’s digital. The normal Pro’s 2x-4.9x looked better. And the 5x cropped more digital than optical esp. if the lighting wasn’t perfect. In my heavy usage, the PM’s battery was only about 2 more hours than the Pro. For me, the Pro was worth keeping and just charging it when it needed it vs. keeping the PM.
I’ve got the Pro Max and considering returning it to get the Pro instead, but I was concerned that for only a £200 saving, half the storage, going from 5x-3x zoom, and smaller battery wasn’t worth it; but the Pro Max really hurts my hand to use. Did you find the Pro to be better value? Which size did you go for?
@@mjm0787 I love the pocket-ability of the Pro more than the Pro Max. Esp. when going to the gym and or running outside on trails. The Pro Max was super cumbersome in both scenarios. I use the iPhone a lot one handed as well. I noticed this when I switched to the Pro Max. I miss the PM’s battery and speakers and that’s about it. I have an iPad Mini for content consumption to use instead of the Pro Max. I only got 1-2+ extra hours of battery too…I justify the Pro’s shortcomings more than the Pro Max’s.
@@MatthewVlossak Do you think the $200 price difference is worth half the memory size, losing 0.6 inches screen size and losing 5x optical zoom. In fact, how much worse is the 3x than 5x on the pro?
