WHY I SAY 'NO' TO SELFIES | MUMBAI VLOG 2019 

Just a small suggestion, don't ever trust anyone. Don't tell anyone where you are staying it if you are alone.

As an Indian I feel ashamed what women travelers from other countries have to go through:(

This selfie obsession amongst Indians is really embarrassing. Last year I was hosting some of my friends from Britain and Australia and they were constantly being nudged for a selfie. I stood in total embarrassment and had to ask my friends to strictly say "no". 😥😥

When he said he was from the Northeast, I could tell the difference in his behaviour.. nice, considerate people there. I am from Bihar and Delhi myself. NE folks, some of the gems of our culture.

This happened to me in Qatar.. The most annoying part is when they asked "why?".. Like, fuck it, I don't need a reason to refuse a random guy having a picture of me!!

Being an Indian girl, I love soo many things about India except for the fact that they don't give proper amount of respect and space to girls and especially to a foreign girl. I am happy with Lali's decision. Just try to stay more safe Lali because no matter how great are most of the people here are but some guys are really disgusting so I think don't feel guilty of being rude to them because your own safety matter more. I don't know how it would feel if I was a foreigner in India and was constantly asked if the locals could have a picture with me. However, I do remember as a kid travelling from Mumbai with my parents to visit Kodai Kanal. We met a guy on our bus. Kevin was from the UK and was touring the South of India. My parents and I had a cottage to ourselves and since it was the tourist season and Kevin had been unable to secure accommodation we offered him a spare room we had. And yes, the next day before we parted ways we took a customary picture with him. There were no camera phones then but since we were travelling and my dad, a photo enthusiast, would always carry his SLR with him.

There are many people from the village area who visit Mumbai for 1st time. They had just seen foreigners on TV and Movies not in real life so they are just excited when they saw any foreigner in Real life. It's okay to reject them that will not hurt their feeling..
