The industry will never be the same as it was before the iPhone 11 Pro and 12 Pro. I never would have thought that I would get paid to shoot content on my Phone - and no, not JUST in an Influencer content type of way, like legitimate contracts.
I don't TYPICALLY discuss the Business Side of Being a Freelancer / Video Production House, but I wanted to share helpful Advice for Creatives.

As of today, I have completed my 4th paid contract of the summer, SHOT on an iPhone.
Essentially, having this phone has paid my rent for the year - and that is SO crazy to me.
NOTE - If you are hoping to see HOW I use my iPhone to shoot commercials, that is a different video, today we are talking BUSINESS.
A lot of creators really overthink the process, but we forget that we all have access to SIMILAR tools, so our main differences are going to come down to the TECHNIQUES that we use WHEN we create. That is what we will go over today - I am here to give you indisputable reasons to start shooting on your PHONE when the opportunities present themselves to you.

For all of these reasons, whenever I have the opportunity to suggest an iPhone as our main camera, I’m going to. Aside from taking a full-day production down to an hour, it simply has a deeper connection with the average audience.
Believe it or not our brains are smart and we adapt to the psychology of advertising VERY quickly, that’s why honesty is such an important scarcity. I feel that using a mobile device for content creation is a huge win for both the clients and yourself. Now, obviously, I’m going to continue using my R5 for taking photos and video every chance that I get - it is an absolute BEAST. I will also continue using cinema cameras and shooting $20,000 productions because I LOVE to use all of this equipment. The point is - don’t be afraid to use your phone if you need to, I know a ton of influencers and creators with a large following are going to say BS like this and never do it themselves, because they’re paid by Hawaiiway and Apple to do so, but genuinely - this is something that you CAN do.
