I am really bored with my Chanel bags at the moment, just sold my jumbo. I am finding the LV canvas fits my style and travel/work/casual needs so much better. Only time I reach for a chanel is a posh dinner out which are few and far between!
I feel the same way I feel like I use my Louis Vuitton everyday. I can use them as vigorously as I want to. I can’t do that with Chanel and personally I would not wear an Hermès bag out.

@@raaziabanks2552 yes I agree, i am an ’ Autumn’ in colouring so green, cream, khaki and brown are my staples. I also rarely wear patterned clothes, so monogram or DE goes with everything!

I love LV canvas! Very durable and it looks good with my aesthetics of blue jeans and basic top. Though I prefer damier canvas than the monogram. I also find it a pain to sell bags so I make sure I really like the bag before taking the plunge ❤️ thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I hear you girl !! I used to LOVE LOVE Louis Vuitton but I’m so overwhelmed with their bags now though it was to be my favorite brand. First of all I got bored with the same brown boring color on all my pieces. And secondly I feel like they have tons of quality issues and I’m not ok with that considering all the price increases they have . Oh don’t even get me started with the price increases🤦🏻♀️ thirdly Louis Vuitton is the most replicated brand and I see them everywhere I go. I’m so tired of that. I recently felt in love with brands like Dior and YSL . They are so classy and we don’t see them around as much as LV !! Plus other brands have tons of different colors which I like.. I used to have a lot of SLG’S as well but I sold it all. The only two LV pieces I kept are my neverfull (I only use it for travel as a carry on) and my pochette accessories which I use occasionally.
I love my LV bags and I think they go well with any outfits. LV excites me like no other brands. Chanel classic flap is beautiful but I think one is enough for me coz they all look the same only with different colors and I will be bored with them pretty soon.
Where I live I see lots of LV, Chanel and some Hermès. I rarely see Dior, YSL, Prada, and Gucci. Carrying an high end bag no longer has that special feeling as it once did. That being said, sometimes I carry one of my contemporary bags vs luxury for fun plus no worries. I do wish I had bought the LV blue escale Neonoe or speedy
I’ve sold a lot of my LV in the last couple of years. I’ve kept some canvas pieces that are easy to use and casual but Chanel is definitely my preference and is slowly taking over my collection. 😂
I, too, find it a little bit odd how many people say, that Monogram goes with anything; I only have one backpack in Monogram, with this one, I don't have that much issues (I usually wear a neutral coat or scarf), but my handbags from LV are Vernis leather (I think all of them 🤔!), and that is much easier to style and combine (and additionally, the imprinted Monogram is very settle compared to the Canvas pieces). Btw, love the ombre hair on you, Jess!
Thank you for the story time with photos! This is the first video of yours that I’ve watched, but I feel you. I have only had a handful of LV purses, but started falling out of love with them last year. I have sold a few and am contemplating everything go. I totally agree that the Monogram doesn’t necessarily “go” with textured or colored clothing items. I have been gravitating towards Chanel and building my collection of leather bags there. The irony is that it has been raining almost every week summer I live and now I think I need to keep my PSM (and maybe Speedy B 25) and add one more canvas 👜 I’d love to wear my Chanel’s more, but the Classic Flap isn’t quite practical for me everyday and canvas does much better in rain.

@@Jessiestyle The Prada Re-Edition 2005 in leather has been calling to me. But the nylon is cheaper and would help more in the rain 🤦🏻♀️ I just picked up an LV Pochette Accessories to serve as a work clutch inside bigger bags so I guess that’ll have to do for now.
Wow! Same! Over the pandemic I realized how many LV bags I had and I was so over them honestly. Everywhere you go you always see them. The other thing that struck me was that I find monogram super tacky now. It’s just so loud. I kept only 4 canvas pieces and 2 capucines. I’m not currently looking at any of their items. i LOVE the bag but its really expensive! I also find it strange that the leather and the canvas version is the same price! they should make the canvas one cheaper IMO. I would get the bumbag instead (better price and just as cool)
@@Jessiestyle Thank you SO much for your opinion. YES HUGE PRICE TAG. I was in store looking at it and told myself to sleep on it. I like that it can be so close to the body and secure. The staff told me it’s so much $ due to all the details and labor to make it. Bum bag is SO cute too and would serve the same purpose but those are impossible to get in US. I am wondering if LV is testing the waters with pricing mono bags super high to see what happens. Also it kills the resale market at that high price. Thanks❤️
I am keeping my speedy b 30 world tour because it is classic and it has my name on it ☺️. I also love my pochette metis reverse because I wear a lot of neutral colors. I am seriously thinking of selling my NeoNoe in the pink color way because it no longer matches my style and I find it bulky to carry. Great video ❤️

That’s why I don’t like brands or expensive things. Because I get bored easily and I can just throw away inexpensive items or buy new ones without breaking the bank lol.
Here because I was just fascinated buying LV bags-and I’m like oh no 😂 what happened. It’s losing its appeal on me 😩 only been 4 months! SMH. Murakami collection was so iconic! On another note, ended up practically giving away my Vernis collection. I took a huge loss and I was getting under $200 for every piece. The collection just wasn't that great, but I had also bought into the hype back then. I am thinking of getting the Louis Vuitton On My Side tote. I'm loving the velvet lettering and color selection. Do you know much about how well they hold up?
I love your Cerise speedy so so much. I completely understand the pre love smell that Lv gets as my multicolour had the same issue. I wish they would re release this cute bags for today. I would buy the cerise bag so quickly if it came out in 2021

I have the medium graceful in ebene, the GM neverfull in monogram, and the loop in medium in monogram. I also owned the mini pochette, the 6 key ring holder and the mm favorite. I do not plan to add anything from LV I don’t like them as I used to. My love since three years ago has been fog Chanel. I have my double flap and two more bags. I also own my many SLGs from Chanel. I am planning to continue building my Chanel collection
I have my mini boite which is so cute and can be top handle,cross and belt bag. I love my bum bag and it’s a keeper but sold my multi Pochette keeping my pink strap. I love my PSM which I wear back pack and cross body with my wide mono strap bought separately. My speedy 35 for travel. Then I simply use mini Pochettes and kirigamis and nano toiletary etc that I play with various straps. I also sold Pochette Métis etc etc. I have moved more to Chanel now. Was sick of expensive LV mono that begins to look the same same but I must say I’m tempted with selling my bum bag and buying world tour due to the vachetta on my one xxxx

I’m moving away from Louis aswell I have so many but I’m starting to want more unique pieces I recently got the 2004 John galliano Dior Rasta Boston bag and now I want to start collecting more John galliano pieces and as their on the pre loved market and aren’t tending right now you can get them very cheap
You're nice but I think there's something not going properly as you often sell, say you sold, but you also buy, make videos...Personally, the multi pochette is the one I sold.
I love my LV canvas items for their versatility and durability as I really cannot be bothered and don’t have the time to baby my things. I have the Felicie pochette in black empriente leather though haven’t used it in 9 months as I find it too small and thanks to COVID have not been going out much. I also prefer Colins St over Crown for better customer service. On another not the price increases and the decline in quality are discouraging me from buying anymore LV. Without disrespect to anyone I think Chanel is ugly overpriced and way more over hyped than LV and I ain’t suckn no ones #*%^€ for a Hermes bag. I have the YSL medium college bag in black with rustic hold hardware which is great as an everyday bag that does not need to be babied as well. I only have 2 things on my Wishlist, a mini pochette in DA to match my Iena DA tote and a YSL medium envelope in black with either gold or silver hardware (am still trying to decide).

I agree that brown monogram is hard to style and I don't really like brown TBH. I've kept my brown monogram keep-all, toiletry pouch and mini pochette but sold the rest. I have a white monogram & a black one and a denim and that's fine for me as they're so easy to wear :-)
