If you haven't seen my regular RU-vid videos, you should start with those first (I think they're fun :) but feedback is welcomed!).
This week, join me for a special episode to catch up on where I am currently, and go deeper into why I started this RU-vid channel, and where I think we can take Argonaut II from here. This boat is very special, and deeply connected to many people up and down the coast of the Pacific Northwest. I am leaning into this community to help, as I cannot go at it alone. Argonaut II is a historic vessel worthy of saving. I would love to have you join me on this journey, and become part of the adventure!
If you are seriously considering taking on a boat like Argonaut II, let's talk. I am open to creative ways of ownership, and focused most on financing projects and doing what's right for the boat. Any sort of help is so appreciated.

I'm going to be 80 in March. My $300,000 shop/studio project ran aground at the hands of a charlatan framing contractor who walked on the contract leaving thousands in correction costs and a largely unfinished build. He broke me. My income short of ability to procure a lone, and family members unable to help out, I'm pursueing a reverse mortage . When I get fulsh, and I will, I will make a donation. You are the perfect blessing for Argonaut II. You're inspirational, dynamic, and all around lovely. Don't sell that boat. My boat, a 1929 cutter has been a dream and a nightmare. With still a little more to go on her long time restoration I took a look at selling her so as to finish the new building with the proceeds. I'd just as soon shoot my dog if I had one. You will succeed, and be proud that you did. Make us all proud.

Your intro to this video activated my imagination to anticipate that you were announcing your commitment to become a missionary and carry on with the history and legacy of Argonaut II. In doing so, you would continue to unite people and bring sustenance to all who you encounter. After hearing your intended announcement, I think I am not wrong.

Aa a (retired) horse show Dad, I subscribed to the "You can't get ahead, when you own something that eats while you sleep." philosophy! Horses and wooden boats are in that category. I have liked and subscribed, for now. That is all that my SS income will permit. Best of luck!

I can't think of a better caretaker for Argonaut II and I know with the power of numbers we can help you raise the money. I loved touring the boat and meeting you at the PTWBF last month. I signed up as a regular contributor on Patreon at the end of September.

This is just me thinking out loud. Hartley Bay was involved in tourism and education in the part of the Great Bear Rain Forest that is within their land. I think Bella Bella was also involved in education and tourism within their part of the GBRF. If they still are, Argonaut 11 could be a nice fit. Just a thought.
