IMO - display size isn't a big of a jump to warrant the switch. I don't really see it being a huge benefit to me when I can just use my iPad for media consumption which has a far bigger display. The only real benefit to having the Max is the battery life. But for my day to day use, I don't think I will really need it as I'm usually home on time to plug and charge it. I have noticed, however, because of the slight size increase of the camera - there are a few magsafe accessories that won't fit perfectly on the normal iPhone 14 Pro. Whereas the Max doesn't have this problem. Anyway I'm sure there will be iPhone 14 Pro compatible accessories in the works.
Yh I agree in the sense that the bigger display isn’t the biggest deal in the world especially if you have an iPad however battery life for me was the biggest reason to upgrade. I feel if Apple keeps making the camera hump larger they’re gonna need a new design like the pixel 7 to allow for MagSafe!
