Thanks for the video, the two bikes are quite different. I want the breakout for a race around town bike, I don’t do much touring so the Breakout works for me. I’m 5’11 and I can see how shorter riders might have a harder time riding it due to the handlebars. I want a naked bike with no bags or fairing, naked and fast.
Ha now we have same bike man glad to see that. I did bunch of things to mine and documented most of it on m channel as well. Can't wait to see what you will do to yours as I always enjoy seeing your upgrades. Get new transmission cover with new 2024 CVO venting system way cheaper than Trask one and make this engine breath right. Ride safe and enjoy your king.
@@RidersUnited That’s right 😀👍. I’ve been watching your videos to see what you have done so far with your King. Thanks for the heads up on the trans cover and venting system. I will definitely look them up. Ride safe! ✌🏻
I've been following your journey through all your harleys and it makes me wonder, for you wich one has been your favorite? From looks, feelings, etc. Great content
I have a new Breakout, but I must say, if I wasn’t going to ride a Breakout, it would be a Road King Special. I actually got the front spoiler fairing for my Breakout after watching your video. It's a shame the Breakout didn’t work out for you, but I am interested to see how this bike turns out.
Always loved the RK. When I bought my Heritage Classic, I rode tested both bikes. There was no comparison for me between the two for comfort and handling. Plus I would have to change the bars immediately bc 21, the bars on the RK were ergonomically horrible. So there was a bigger price separation. Good luck with it, looking forward to following you along with modifications
Thank you! Yes definitely. Both bikes are great and serve slightly different purpose. Bars I will absolutely have to figure out what I want to do with them. Thank you for following 👍
@LennyK I did 12x 1.25in kst bars which are $155 compared to 400-500 for other brands with magnum cables. I have a RU-vid short on the bike of you are curious.
Following your last year evolution… I believe that your next bike will be a Heritage because the Road King weight and frame is quite the same vs Road Glide. Enjoy it
How much of a hit did you take on the Breakout? I almost went with another Street Glide but I like my Breakout. I'm hanging up my riding boots in another year or two anyway so I'll just be keeping mine until I'm done.
