I think it is super simple, you have to access and privilege to try and use whatever you want. You've worked for it, don't get me wrong. Also, I believe using different systems makes you a better photographer, trying other systems is a reminder of what is out there and makes you fine your craft. I am using Canon R5 mainly, but I do have a Fuji xt3 too and the photos I get out of the Fuji are different, because I have to have a slightly different approach. I actually shot Canon for a while when I started out learning about photography. Still have it even though now I shoot with Sony Mainly, but I still like using the Canon every now and then. For you as a content creator/photographer. I'm so glad you are able to use all the cameras available in the market, so me as a entry level photographer can make a good choice to fit my needs. Really appreciate you bro.

I’m glad you touched on the point of usability of the systems in the field from the standpoint of a hybrid event shooter. Shooting ergonomics (including waiting on buffer clearing to interact with the camera) have been the main reasons why I haven’t bought into Sony. I’m sure you will let us know when they have a sufficiently compelling value proposition compared to Canon and Nikon to warrant the switching costs. I also started in Nikon and changed to Canon in the mid-2000’s when I got tired of seeing them fall behind Canon in the digital body and glass departments. All that said, you can really use almost any camera brand (except Pentax!) and be adequately equipped to deliver for the foreseeable future.

I love that you are diverse🙂! With the R6 when you’re shooting video and photo simultaneously, does it shoot in JPG while considering the video settings? I shot video/photo with the Z6ii today and I didn’t realize it was just capturing stills on my video footage (which makes sense in hind sight).

I did drive out of Burlington to BJ photo and picked up the RF 100-500. I also mentioned your videos. They know you well there. They son gave me a very good deal yes on an RF lens. So it was worth the drive.

I just switched from Nikon to two Sony A7IVs and can confirm that the buffer clears fast enough to take video right away. Especially if you use CF Express Type A cards.

I'm using Sony a7iii, Leica Q2 Mono, and Fuji GFX 100S... full time boudoir photographer here... for me each system is like a different brush and I use each of them on all of my sessions... I remember feeling kinda shy about it at the beginning because everybody always likes to bring out the topic how "you only need one camera and one lens" but I truly love each of the systems for their own strengths and character... I also remember reading how Annie Leibovitz works and that she basically uses every single system on all of her shoots too and that made me feel not as much as a loner anymore haha

All you need is Jesus as your Lord and savior.. just believe he died for you and confess him as your Lord, then you will be saved. Turn from things that displease your maker and creator Jesus cuz he loves you and wants the best for ya.

I used EOS R for a couple of years and wanted to upgrade with faster auto focus camera. I primarily shoot my kids and vacation trips and decided to go for Sony A7IV over R6 primarily more affordable third party lenses option. My problem is, I hate selling my used gears. Local camera store offered me $1400 for my EOS R and RF 24-105 F/4 L lens and I thought it wasn’t fare. I told myself, it’s okay to use two camera systems and decided to keep them. I don’t understand why have to changed system entirely instead of adding another gear.

I'm a beginner wedding photographer and I use as my main camera Sony a7III, I was borrowing from my friend his a6600 as a B cam, but now I want to buy my own B cam. I'm looking at used market and my options (in my budget) are: Sony a6400 or a7II. Would you go full frame but with worse autofocus or apsc but with superior af?

@@TaylorJacksonPhoto I would love to go with second a7III but they are more than double the price of a7II, also I have to buy some lenses (70-200 and a good 50) so I'm really on budget. Currently I do like 3-4 weddings per year and I don't want to overinvest on my gear.

Would you be able to do a video on the new firmware for the nikon z5 and z6? Supposedly the AF was greatly improved.

@@TaylorJacksonPhoto So I upgraded both the Z6 and Z5. The Z5’s improvement is marginal, but the Z6 feels incredibly fast at acquiring focus and the eye AF works at a much greater distance too. Thank you for always replying back!

I’ve been shooting one this week as well. Workaround I found was writing everything to CFExpress and jpg only to SD card. Which is a new feature I think to Sony cameras. (Or any camera with the new menus) Not ideal, but at least makes certain situations possible

Backup card record for video, smaller 1.8 lenses, fully articulating screen and easier autofocus. Plus everyone I shoot with normally now are on R6 so it’s easier to share lenses on trips and at jobs
